The moderators and leads engage in targeted racism, discrimination, and bigotry to publicly shame and humiliate anyone that doesnt meet their standards of race or political ideologies. They are supported by Nextdoor support and allowed to freely harass and discriminate against individuals based on their sexual orientation, race, and religion. Multiple attempts to get Nextdoor support to adhere to its own stated guidelines and hold these moderators accountable was met with silence. The site does allow one to make judgement about who theyd like as a neighbor. Sadly, the majority of the moderators are the very example of bad neighbors and the reason for many of the problems such as racism, discrimination, and bigotry that prevent neighborhoods from being the accepting environments many of us were raised in.

They banned me for being a conservative. It's just leftist garbage. I wasn't out of line, I wasn't name calling, I wasn't hateful, angry, rude, or disrespectful. The thought police that run the company found me guilty of WrongThink.

Got flagged for saying Merry Christmas around Christmas time. Apparently that's offensive. I don't use Nextdoor anymore. I am better off without it...

Pretty sad as Americans we have rights that everyone has to follow legally, but Nextdoor app just took down a post I posted saying it was offensive. They take away your freedom of speech everyday and are not held accountable. I thought they would have been better than ******** but they are just as democratic as ********. When posts have racism and cursing its okay just as long as its goes with their agenda. But when you post something up about the ********* protests in ******* politely and request prayers for them they say thats offensive. I guess Nextdoor app doesnt have to abide by the American constitution because I guess they believe they are above the law.Its sad that businesses like this can do whatever they want with no consequences.

Nextdoor is a toxic platform endangering mental health. I will stop posting other than use NextDoor as cloud storage for my tips and other intellectual property such as how to jump start a vehicle without frying electronics or investment advice. Their local moderators are biased.

I keep getting emails from them to join. I called the complex office and they said they didn't recognize them and have no idea how nextdoor got my email. They haven't provided an email to contact them to ask them to stop emailing **** keep blocking them and report spam but does no good.

I never signed up for this app, and I can't get rid of them. I tried everything they told me to do to unsubcribe. It takes a case manager to do this. Are you kidding me. It has been two weeks and I received a email that they are working to cancel my subscription.

What an awful place Nextdoor has become. Don't get on it and waste your time. Censorship, public shaming, people attacking each other. It's become high school. The last activity I had on it was that I commented on someone's gofundme post that they were other resources besdies asking strangers for money and come to find out later, someone reported it for publc shaming lol So if someone doesn't like what you say, they can take action. BS what happened to free speech. As of today, I no longer have an account with ND, it's not my neighborhood app anymore.
