The App is a good interface for communicating with your community but the subjective censorship. The entitled reporting of posts because they don't agree with your veiw. Suspending accounts for defending yourself and your business venture from being called a scam when the person posting and reporting never even contacted me to find out what I offer. Nextdoor needs to be more clear to disrespectful speech cause you can't even mention the word homeless as it's offensive. What a joke!! Oh and I love the whole National politics aren't affecting local people so it's banned and censored. I posted about the *** talking of next Gen ** and I was censored because they said it wasn't a local issue. I was suspended for 3 weeks for asking about the ******* super bowl advertisement because I believed it to be fake so I inquired and was banned because I asked and answered a comment with maybe we need someone who is different and boom banned for 3 weeks. If you want to keep your sanity and freedoms of speech you may want to avoid this app

Here in the **************** we have a clear case of libel in a posting. It has not been removed despite numerous members reporting it

it is absolutely perplexing how this site is allowed to exist, let alone continue in whats left of this country. while being a quasi open forum, it deliberately censors any comment or post that is remotely right leaning. worse, once the mods (most of them not even being members of my conservative community but instead are from areas such as ************* where this company is located) establish a member as being remotely right leaning (let alone a ***** supporter) they will target that member removing all of their posts giving reasons that are completely false and unfounded. this is blatant unconstitutional censorship. furthermore, their blatant bias which allows for the dissemination of false information is interfering with the election. it needs to stop! their censorship is unconstitutional and potentially illegal. i am seriously considering filing suit against it and any involved individuals including the bias censorship. i would love to commence a class action to assure that this company either abides by a persons fundamental rights or better yet, is shut down

NextDoor will disable your account if you say something simple and ask a question to a person who is bullying or talking about black people in a negative way. NextDoor doesnt like it when you provide freedom of speech or truth. Anyone can say your bullying them or hurting them on social media when you have done nothing of that type. NextDoor is not the app for people of color. For I have seen on other phones where black peoples accounts have been disabled for for false information; including mine. NextDoor is not safe nor is what they say they are. If you want to join next door, please be prepared to be fake and not share truth, actual things and people bullying. This account needs to be regulated. But instead they will disable you, delete you or even falsify your text or message as discriminating or bullying or misinformation. Especially when you are talking about yourself. This app is not worth it at all and should be shut down

They consistently hide posts they dont like even though no violations of their own policies. When I try to delete my account they wont, even though their policy says I can. They claim to have a link to contact them for deletion but you cant find it. They run you around in circles to frustrate you into stopping the attempt. They claim theyll send you an email to confirm deletion but dont. Complete fiasco.

Nextdoor does a terrible job monitoring their pages. They pick on certain people and let others sail on by. They make SOME people use their full last name while hundreds of others don't. The link for help is a waste of time. They pass you on to someone else who never responds. It is also dangerous as it encourages people in sharing their location and full name. It is also flooded with unpaid advertising.

My account was suspended indefinately on or about March 4, 2024. Apparenty they allow 'moderators' to make claims against posters/readers they dislike or with whom they disagree. I have found they mostly cencor conservatives but it is their site. But to accuse someone of NOT being who they are is ridiculous reprisal. They use the data they collect to do searches of court records and are too inept to understand that relatives with different names can live in the same house. I was supended and a demand for a copy my drivers license was made in an attempt to ****** more data with which to harm me by those 'moderators' who live near by and obviously lack impurse control. I encourage all my fellow cyber travelers to read the complaints/reviews and choose well.

nextdoor.com does not act in the best interests of citizens: When a user recently posted a warning about a convicted ****** moving into the neighborhood, I shared the information. A week or two later nextdoor.com suspended my account for two weeks because the information was a violation of the rapist's privacy. As a journalist I know from experience that neighbors of *** offenders generally are informed by mailers from the police or sheriffs department.

They dont create a safe space for people of color. I get harassed all the time, and Im the one that gets punished for sticking up for myself! How is this fair???? ?? They need to change some rules, and they need to allow you to block people that stalk or harass you!!!!
