  I think B A T are all pieces of s*** my buddies son won a high bit on a checker taxi today oct. 20th as time expired as he was celebrating (he has a form of autism) they looked back at the site an they added another 2 minutes onto the bidding time an was told he lost it ..wtf whoever let this happen at b.a.t. just remember karma you crushed this this young man's dream I hope your proud of yourself

  Hello,Thank you for reaching out and sorry to hear your son missed out on the Checker taxi. It seems you are referring to our "No Sniping" feature. This is a feature built into our auctions on the site where the auction clock will reset back to two-minutes after each bid that is placed within the final two-minute window of the auction.For example: If you are the current highest-bidder in an auction, and someone else places a bid within the final two minutes, the auction clock will automatically reset for a fresh two minutes, giving anyone (including you) a chance to place a counter-bid. You simply need to be logged in to the site while watching to auction to place any counter-bids.This process will continue until the clock runs to zero without a new higher bid.Please Note: We generally do not recommend bidders wait until the last few moments to place a bid as there are a few factors that can make last-moment bidding risky such as server latency, or cache storage on browser settings.Thank you, and best of luck in future bidding.

  I tried to list my **** CAMARO on BRING A TRAILER , which has been completly rebuilt ,new BLUE PRINT engine with EFI , ****** fuel tank , QA 1 shocks ,suspension, interior etc. for $38,000 . ********************* said it was to high . I lowered it to ******. Still to high ! He said CAMAROS do not sell at that price ! They sold a stock **** last week for $49,000. What gives ?? What can they lose by listing it ? *************************

It looks to be an extensive build and I'm sorry that we won't be moving forward. To give you some additional perspective, we are a curated marketplace and are very selective with the modified vehicles we accept for auction as they tend to have a narrower buyer pool than more stock examples. We are simply inundated with submissions of ************* at this time, which unfortunately means that we are often faced with the difficult decision of turning down good vehicles from engaged sellers like yourself.Ultimately, we want you to have a successful sale, and our team simply decided we were simply too far apart on the reserve to list the car. We appreciate the merits of your car and its modifications, and our decision does not mean it isn't desirable. As much as we hate to pass on any listing, it is a necessary part of our curation process. We appreciate that you considered BaT Auctions and wish you best of luck with the sale.   I have tried after I was told I had to re apply 3 years ago by BAT to be reassigned to my account. Since they, BAT didnt like the comments I was making but they DID allow me to sell a collectible ******** on their site (with no reserve). Just like before I have been emailing them since last week, 12 times. with no answer. I told them I wanted to bid on a Porsche.......crickets on their part. Now again I have missed a vehicle. Well, I guess this only goes to show you, they dont answer their emails.....EVER, regardless what they (*****) says. I have never personally attacked anyone, just said what is TRUE and consequentially that runs counter to their AUCTION .

  We did restrict this user's ********************** privileges after a number of violations of our commenting rules followed by their sending dozens of blank or gibberish emails in an attempt to clog up our system. We expect all site visitors to abide by the posted rules of our website and to behave in a respectful manner when interacting with staff and other site users.

  It is just like BAT to DISTORT the truth. All I have said in the review IS true. their comment from the business is not. I did not violate reasonable policy and I only sent blank or as they call "gibberish" emails after they routinely dont answer their emails. Yes, I sent SIX emails to them trying to get my account reinstated and "crickets" I got nothing back from them, I got no answers. So, I pressed one key that they could either answer or not. I NEVER attempted to clog up their system as they state. NO what they expect is everyone behave in a respectful manner when interacting with their 20 year olds and "site users" who dont really know how their auction site operates. Please dont use THEIR site to conduct any of the business. Their site is fraught with business who use it to sell cars. More than half of their business is dealers who shill bid or get their friends to do so....REGARDLESS of what *** says. They have been caught more times of late than not. If all of this sounds like they have been in the DEALERS pockets just ask for a copy of the listings with the NAMES of individuals or businesses. People thing this is a legitimate auction.........think again!

  My experience with BaT was awful and I will recommend against anyone using the site in the future.-Despite them saying they wanted to list the Nova and me choosing and paying for the professional photo package I had to send more photos just to give them "a sense" of the car.-They gave me a reserve with no actual data to back it up when cars sold on the site with information we had at the time were much higher.-Going back and forth was terrible because it was basically one message a day with no calling or messaging options. It delayed going live by over a week. -It took you three weeks to begin processing the listing after getting the photos and only after I complained. - They greatly over exposed the photos making the car look a lot worse than it actually does - this seems to be a buyer friendly tactic but one that sellers should be very aware of so they avoid using your site. I had been warned about this by another seller and he was 100% right. These guys only care about the buyers.-Their first step was to ask me to do more work taking photos after I bought the professional package because I DIDNT WANT TO TAKE PHOTOS and would not do a good job.-It was clear that their guy knew what he wanted but not where it was nor what it looked like as he gave me bad directions and then told me that since I couldnt find it he couldnt list it with the information.- The manager got on the thread after I complained about making this my problem and recognized I HAD found it but needed the other side of it which I did my best to send. So I had to do MORE pictures.- I submitted the car on May 23. The auction went live on July 11. 49 DAYS - I paid for premium service and instead still ended up doing a ton of work to get the car listed. They should have offered to refund all or a portion of my photo package after the 3 requests for more photos but their poor understanding of good service continued.If I could give 0 stars I would.

We do strive to make our photography service as seamless as possible, though there are times when we need sellers to provide some specific detail photos or other information missed by the photographer, as they are often not ***************. We do not manipulate or alter photographs after we receive them, and we certainly aim to ensure that the vehicles on the site are portrayed honestly and as fairly as possible. That said, we understand your frustration with this process and with the time it took for ************ to start, and we've made a number of improvements to lower our wait times and to smooth the process of uploading photographs.

  I listed my car, spent 3h submitting excellent photos (their upload speed and photo processing is pathetic). My porsche 911 was given a trade in value of 80k and a resale value of 90k by a dealer.I entered a reserve just over 80k. I received an email from some BAT person saying they suggest a reserve of 66k! I said no.They rejected listing my car as they felt it was their right to choose the reserve on MY car!Clearly their goal is to force a sale and get their 5 percent commission... And this despite the inability of the seller to choose the start and end date, and inability of the seller to verbally describe the car. The only protection then for the seller is the reserve! If they remove this they control everything about forcing a sale on my car for which they get a commission, and I still pay them 100 for this privilege!This is even worse if you fall for the trick of paying a higher fee of someone else shooting photos... Then you are both financially and emotionally invested in them forcing a sale on your car on their terms!Jerks.

We are simply inundated with submissions of great vehicles, which unfortunately means we are often faced with the difficult decision of turning down good cars from motivated sellers like yourself.Ultimately, we want you to have a successful auction. Based on the results of other similar cars we've had on the site, our curation team felt that we would simply be too far apart on reserve expectations to offer a listing at this time. The reserve conversation is meant to be collaborative, but *** does make the final decision with regard to the acceptable reserve amount. The goal of an auction, after all, is to sell the vehicle, and we want to set up sellers for success there.

  The process in the beginning was fine. The auction specialist will answer you at least once a day once you are assigned one.Typically if your vehicle is worth under $20k they do not let you put a reserve on it. This was not explained well as I thought my car had a reserve.During the last day of the auction, someone figured out where I lived from the pictures and came to my house!It's been very scary. Sleepless nights since this.I've repeatedly asked Bringatrailer to take my auction down, as the buyer never purchased the vehicle and I'm terrified and unsafe.They are unwilling to do so. We've now submitted the information to our Attorney who is pursuing these illegal activities further.

  In the interest of transparency and historical accuracy, we do not remove listings once they are posted on the site. We also expect all sellers to honor their auction results when they agree to a no-reserve auction, and sellers who do not are typically not welcome back on the site. We confirmed separately with the winner of this auction that this customer refused to sell the vehicle for the winning bid amount, and accordingly they have been barred from participation on the site.

  I have attempted to list multiple custom vehicles and motorcycles with them. Each time I receive a "generic" email denying my listing. When I called them directly, a VERY rude female basically told me that they can't keep up and they limit their listings to vehicles that are "worth" their time. Meanwhile similar vehicles to mine were active. That led me to research their reviews, and was very surprised how bad they are. Others, as well as myself still receive "spam" emails from them regularly. Very unprofessional.

BaT is a curated marketplace and we unfortunately cannot accept every vehicle that is submitted for consideration. Niche items like scooters, motorbikes, memorabilia, parts, ***************. comprise a relatively small percentage of what we list on the site, which unfortunately means we often have to pass on a lot of neat ones. We appreciate the merits of your submissions, but with our current volume the team simply decided to move forward in a different direction. This does not mean that your vehicles aren't desirable, and hopefully we will have the opportunity to work together in the future.

  The auction went smoothly, and I was fortunate to find a kind and understanding seller, which made the long wait for the car more bearable. However, the shipping experience was terrible. Choosing BaT shipping was a mistake, and it will be the first and last time I use their services. Here's what happened: I won the auction on April 30th, and immediately after, the funds for BaT's fee were withdrawn from my bank account. I also purchased their shipping service for around $870 right after the auction, and the payment was withdrawn as well. The next day, I contacted the seller and arranged a wire transfer for the car payment. That's when the nightmare began.For two days, I received no communication from BaT, so I had to reach out to them myself. When they finally got in touch, I informed them about my planned trip to Europe, scheduled for May 15th. Unfortunately, they ignored this information and didn't contact me until May 12th, completely disregarding the fact that I had already prepared my luggage. It was impossible to expect the car to be delivered from ************** to ******* in just two days, and the risk of me not being there was too high. I returned on May 30th, but *** hadn't scheduled anything to ensure a prompt delivery of the car. I had to wait until June 8th to finally receive it.Adding to the frustration, the driver didn't provide me with at least an hour's notice before arriving (I asked for that in the shipping notes). I had to rush to reach the drop-off point, which was not conveniently located since I was working in another area. Despite selecting a large parking lot for an easier transfer to the shipper, the driver parked the car along a busy road instead. Furthermore, *** had promised me a tracking service for the car's journey from ************** to *******, but they never provided it. Every aspect of this process went wrong, and I had expected at least some reimbursement for the pain, but nothing happened. I will never go through this again!

  I'm giving this company a low rating because they made me go through the process of putting together an ad which took about 3 hours and then they rejected it and refused to say why and the truth is if their website said they would have rejected the ad beforehand I never would have bothered.
