      I contacted JustAnswer in May of this year to resolve a problem. I was told that it would be 45 and that after a month I could cancel my subscription/account. I did cancel, and when I looked at my account on their site it said that the account had indeed been cancelled. Since then they have taken 45 a month for 4 months, all the while insuring me that my account had been cancelled. They have cheated me out of 180. I know that this company is known for this kind of sham practice - too bad I didn't know sooner.I want a refund of 180 put back into my bank account, and I want my subscription/account with ********************** permanently cancelled. Thanks for your help in this matter. ***** ******

      I was told I was paying $5 to ask a question and they charged me $55 for a membership fee. This is misleading and unfair to their consumers. There is nowhere on the site that tells you its $55 you just see the charge later. The screenshot even says the $5 was waived yet the prompt to ask a question says specifically that its $5. Unprofessional and unfair

      They said it was a $5 charge and it said it was fully refundable. Then they charged me $53 and when I asked for a refund 5 minutes later after receiving no service they refused to give me a refund.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I accept the refund but I do not accept the response. 

      I didnt accept or agree to any monthly charges. They with purpose tried to make it seem like I was talking to Sony Customer Support. They said it was a $5 refundable charge to speak to a technician. Then with no notification charged me $53. When I immediately (within 5 minutes) asked for a refund without receiving any service they told me I was not eligible for a refund and disconnected the chat. They are 100% trying to scam people. They only offered me a refund after I contacted them multiple times, left them a bad review and contacted the BBB. If I hadnt been persistent they wouldve kept the money.

      They are operating in bad faith and people need to know.

      Ask a doctor (otherwise known as Just answer) has been charging my credit card for several months for some kind of subscription service related to a single telehealth appointment. I did not authorize these charges. They refuse to reimburse me for all of the charges. This is a fraudulent scheme. Please help.

      A few minutes ago, I signed up for a $5 charge for to speak to a veterinarian about an issue with our cats. The site says this can be cancelled at any time. As soon as I filled out the information, and agreed to the $5 charge, the site "built in" a new $65 charge that I couldn't see before and charged my card $70. Immediately afterwards, the site experienced "technical difficulties" and logged me off from the person I was speaking with. I immediately logged back on to the site, to try and have the issue resolved by cancelling the charge, but now a chatbot will not let me proceed any further and speak to anyone. I've called my credit card company who will handle me disputing the charge, and they will, but they said this could take days and that it would be quicker to speak to the merchant. However, the merchant has deliberately set the website up to take me through a loop.

      Just answer a company I have no relationship with and no subscription with took $55 out of my account via debit on July 10th and just took another one out in August. I contacted the 800 number that the bank provided me with and I got an AI machine that said that they did not have a number on file that matched an account they had. They requested an alternate phone number and alternate email which I was not going to provide. I would like them to refund me for both July and august. I don't want them to have access to my email or my phone number. And I want the subscription they are billing me for canceled. I believe this to be fraudulent activity.

      Two days ago, I was trying to transfer my prescriptions account to ***. I filled out a form which I thought was from CVS requiring me to submit my credit card information. Turns out it was a company called JustAnswer that charged me $55 for nothing. And, it looks like this company will continue to charge me.

      I was unknowingly charged $42 for a membership without any explanation that this would be done. Misleading information and/or no information given to show I would be charged an extra $42 after canceling a membership immediately after asking my question.

      I was told I could get advise for $5 and upon paying the $5, I checked my bank account and I was actually charged $65 for this without my knowledge. Was not told I would get charged $65 for services.

      I used the Just Answer service in January of 2024 of which they quoted a fee of $5 + $46 for a question. There was no mention that I would be signing up for a SUBSCRIPTION *********** which is defined as a recurring fee for products and services. It was not apparent until September 2025 that the company continued to bill me $46 a month as if it was a SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE I agreed to. I never received any receipts from Just Answer showing the merchant (Just Answer) charged my card. Throughout the time period of 1/2/2024 - 9/11/2025, my account only utilized services or 1 QUESTION on 1/2/24. There were no SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES provided after this. I have read through many complaints on BBB others have that have the same ISSUE. This is a SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE Just Answer is selling. This is NOT a MEMBERSHIP SERVICE. JUST ANSWER IS misleading. I was charged an additional 19 months of $46 a month. I imagine if this business manages its performance properly they would see users who purchased a QUESTION and yet was continuously charged without the customer ever asking another question. Good business practices would trigger to contact a customer if you find them to be valuable to assess the situation. At this point I believe I have been overcharged by $894. I have finally canceled what the company refers to as a MEMBERSHIP yet it is actually a SUBSCRIPTION I am a CPA and there is a clear distinguish between SUBSCRIPTION ******************** FEE REVENUE. Membership fees are collected as a payment to join a group, join a gym etc, Just Answer is not a community or group. A SUBSCRIPTION FEE is a payment method recurring access to a service or product of which Just Answer is providing a service of a product yet advertising it as a MEMBERSHIP FEE. I suggest asking one of your experts how contract law applies to this practice if you trust the product you deliver. Breach of contract due to misleading language leading to having a reputation of unethical business practices.
