    A few days back my Discord account "yellowpant" was banned unfairly (as seen in the pictures attached). I was willing to wait for discord support to reach out however, this ban is for such an unfair reason and it happened just 4 days after I got unbanned for another unfair violation. I really appreciate you guys for getting my account unsuspended that first time and I believe this was all just a mistake on your guy's end. I am looking for a reinstatment of my account.The account email is the same email that is used to file this complaint.Thank you.

    Hello,My discord account was suspended for what Discord says is a violation of their child safety TOS.The message in the suspension notice is me saying that I don't think minors should be dating. I think this is a massive misunderstanding, so I would really like someone to give this a second look. I don't understand how being opposed to minors dating could possibly violate Discord TOS.I've opened a ticket, but the response I got is just an automatic bot response. My account is very important to me, so I'd really like to speak to a human who can help me understand what happened.

If you look at the attached screenshots, the message I was responding to and what I posted make it very clear my intention was not to violate TOS or community guidelines.     Hello Discord ************** Team,I am writing to appeal the recent disabling of my Discord account due to suspicious activity. My account got disabled on 19th of July. I got an email saying I must reset my password to regain access to my account again.I have already attempted to recover my account by resetting my password using my passkey and backup codes, but they have not worked despite being ********** account is important to me, and I would never intentionally violate Discords rules.     Dear BBB and Discord Support,I am submitting this complaint regarding the ban on my Discord account due to alleged child safety concerns linked to an image I shared.I want to emphasize that this image is a meme originally sourced from ********, where it has been publicly available for a long time without being flagged or removed. Other communication platforms have not considered this image to violate any guidelines.Despite my full support for Discord's efforts to maintain a safe community, I believe my ban was a misunderstanding or error.I have made multiple attempts to appeal this ban through official Discord support tickets (Ticket #********) and private messages on *******. Unfortunately, all my tickets have been closed automatically within minutes without explanation or any access to a human review.     Thank you for your response.
    However, I strongly disagree with your decision. This was my first ever alleged violation, and I do not believe it warrants a permanent banespecially considering that the image in question was a meme originally from ******** and has not been removed or flagged as inappropriate by any other communication platforms or social media.

    I respectfully request that you reconsider your decision and take into account my clean account history and the fact that no other services deemed this content problematic. I believe a permanent ban for a first-time minor offense is disproportionate and unfair. I ask for a fair review and the possibility of a second chance or at least a more detailed explanation of the exact nature of the violation.

    I do not agree with your decision and I am once again requesting a clear and non-template explanation of which specific rule I allegedly violated and what evidence was used against me.

    I am reaching out to formally dispute the actions taken against my Discord accounts linked to ************************ and iiphysic_, which I believe were the result of misinterpretations and unjust enforcement.I received a penalty for harassment and bullying simply because I was exchanging banter and using explicit language with my close friends something we all mutually understood and consented to. However, someone outside our friend group reported the interaction, which led to a punishment that was both disproportionate and unfair given the ********** another instance, my account was flagged for alleged fraudulent activity. This action was based on a joke shared within my private friend group regarding carding which was clearly unserious and sarcastic in nature. Again, someone took it out of context and reported it, leading to another unjustified enforcement action.What has been most frustrating is that your support team has failed to genuinely review the context or consider appeals. Each time Ive tried to open a ticket or ask for clarification, I was either told the restriction is temporary without further detail or received copy-paste responses that didn't address the situation at all. This gives the impression that the process lacks transparency and actual human review, which is disheartening for a long-time user who values the platform.I kindly request a thorough and fair review of the enforcement actions on both accounts.     I am resubmitting this complaint because Discord ************** suspended my account over a false child safety violation without any proper human review, and my last BBB case was dismissed with a templated response.The original email tied to the account was deleted years ago, which I clearly stated. However, the phone number linked to the account is still under my control and should be enough to verify ownership. Ive already submitted screenshots and appeal messages showing the message in question was harmless and entirely non-inappropriate.Discord has refused to manually review my appeal and only responds with automation. I am willing to cooperate fully, verify my identity through my phone number, and provide any other documentation ********* requesting that Discord escalate this case to a human member of ************** for proper review and allow an alternative contact method due to the inaccessible email.This is my second time reporting because the first complaint was closed without any action taken.

    Subject: Complaint Against Discord for Unresolved False Ban and Automated Support Issues Dear Better Business Bureau,I am filing this complaint against Discord (Discord, Inc.) due to an unresolved issue with a false ban on my account for alleged ban evasion in 2024, as well as the consistent lack of human support for my support tickets over the past ******* 2024, my Discord account was permanently suspended for alleged ban evasion without prior warnings, despite Discord's updated Account Standing system, which is supposed to provide up to four warnings for less severe violations. I logged into my account using a different IP address and a friend's device, which I believe mistakenly triggered the ban evasion detection. I was not attempting to evade any ban, and I received no prior notifications or warnings about my account standing, which contradicts Discord's updated policy.Over the past year, I have submitted multiple support tickets to appeal this ban through Discords official support portal (******************************************). However, every ticket has been resolved by an automated system with generic responses that do not address my specific issue or provide meaningful assistance.     This complaint is being filed because I was falsely suspended by Discord of their platform. We, ***** and *******, havent done anything wrong and we believe the suspensions should be lifted and accounts reinstated.The first suspension was July 24, 2025 of a shared account between my partner and I, ******* and *****, the second suspension is on a personal account of Ambers on July 25, 2025.We have tried making multiple tickets with discord support, but we havent gotten a single reply from a real human back.These were usually automated responses, without someone actually looking at the ticket or taking any action after us submitting evidence of their error.We have also reached out to their legal team through email for additional review as of August 1, 2025.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I have reached out to Discord 8 times regarding the same matter of their unjust violation with provided proof that Discord had made an error, in which I have been trying to rectify. I have also reached out to discord support through their *******/X team. I sent an email to legal, as Discord states to do before heading to arbitration if that would be the case, and through the efforts of BBB, still received the same automated response with no manual review to both my case and provided proof. Discord has not even sent or given any proof of a violation, I had to dig myself to find their error. I reject the response they have given me because they gave me nothing. Provided screenshots of the last opened ticket that they referenced that they will respond to and assist in, referenced in my BBB complaint, went quiet. Discord solved the ticket and had not even notified me. Where was the further communication hat was referenced in the response?
    The state of the matter at hand is: Discord refuses to correct their error done to my partner and I. They refuse to look at the evidence provided to them of the said error to correct the issue. I will continue to make tickets, however I am leading to arbitration at this point due to their neglect.

    We requested to have a manual reviewer due to discord continuously funneling us into their automated responses. The violation they claim we have committed is non-consensual adult content. The only content we produce are my ************** pictures to which are consented. 
    Discord has responded with another automated response to our request. The other issue that we have is; Discord has not sent any proof of the violations they they claim in their automated response. 
    we either require to have both the shared and bonbon/ambers personal accounts reinstated or we demand to have proof of the violations discord claims we have made.

    Please respond accordingly and which either result of reinstatement ir providing the proof of bonbons non-consensually posted *************************** is more than willing to provide their verbal/visual (video) and written consent to these matters if this is truly what Discord is banning us over.

    I am filing a complaint regarding a wrongful permanent ban on my Discord account for an alleged "child safety violation," which I firmly deny.Key points:I reported the original disturbing message using Discords official reporting ********* reply (child p*** is wild) was intended to condemn the content, not support it.I deleted my reply shortly after, realizing it could be misinterpreted.Despite this, my account was permanently banned and every appeal I submitted has been automatically denied without human review.This is a critical issue because my account (active for years) will be permanently deleted soon without any fair review.
