Dear BBB,First, I would like to note that although I am an American, I currently live in ***********. That is why my phone number and the language in the attached screenshot are Korean.On July 1, 2025, Discord permanently disabled my account under the reason of Child Safety. However, I believe this was a mistake. I had sent a funny *** to a close friend, showing a small man wearing a red hat behaving in a humorous, silly way. It was clearly a meme made for adult audiences and had nothing inappropriate. The person I sent it to is an adult ************************************************ ***********. I sometimes jokingly refer to him as baby because he is younger than me, but there was no harmful intent.I believe Discord's automated system flagged the message wrongly due to this nickname or the image. The *** was originally from another Discord server, and the person who posted it there has not been banned. The person in the image may look small, but he is not a child. Its an edited clip made for platforms like TikTok, not illegal content.Since then, I have submitted multiple appeals, but I received only bot replies or responses that showed no one read my explanation. One human staff member replied once, but still ignored my detailed ********** addition, I had paid for a full year of their subscription service, Discord Nitro. Despite unfairly banning my account, they have ignored my request for a refund for the remaining eight months.This experience feels deeply unfair. My main Discord account kidaspire was hacked on June 30, 2025 and wrongfully suspended for "breaking the rules of child safety" because the hacker sent fake messages claiming I was selling inappropriate content of underaged people. I never sent those messages myself; the hacker sent them from my account. I am not even sure what exactly was sent. I will copy and paste the text from my previous ticket for reference:On June 30, 2025, at around 7:30 PM EST my account was hacked by a discord user named sxhadowx. Sxhadowx messaged me earlier asking me to try out his game that was described as being a 2D ******* like game. The game was called "BlockyRushV25.msi" and it did not trigger anything in my antivirus when I scanned it. Once I opened the file, the app asked for my ****** username and password. I closed the app immediately and shut down my computer. When I reopened my computer, I had a user with the display name "x" and the username arthurchaddy that had a flag profile pic. He was extorting me for $100 Bitcoin and threatening to leak fake messages that I was selling inappropriate content of children. He also removed me from most of my servers and group chats, as well as removing my entire friends list except for him. He started posting his scam link in my Discord server, KID APPLE!, but my members knew that it was a scam and were telling people I was hacked and to not click on the link. From 7:30 PM-8:54 PM, the hacker took control of my account, spammed several messages advertising his game in KID APPLE!. I transferred ownership of the server temporarily to one of my moderators, while I changed my Discord password. Once I changed my Discord password, I logged back in to my account and took control of it. I have included screenshots of the timeline of the hacking to this post. I don't use it often so it didn't seem like a big deal UNTIL I realized my IP was still on that account because I never logged out it was just an account I had as a sign in option. so while I was on my main discord account with the same IP obviously it got banned for ban evading. so my main problem here is my accounts are getting banned for ban evading because of ONE account that got banned for child safety and the reason it even got BANNED for CHILD SAFETY was because it was hacked and the person who was logged in broke TOS. so I'm filing this complaint today in hopes of getting my main discord account unbanned or maybe the hacked account unbanned. If the hacked account (the original banned account) cant be unbanned then at least my main, I can't even use discord without my account getting banned for ban evading all because an account I'm logged into that still has my IP (same as my main) got hacked and they broke TOS on it ill provide a screenshot of the hacked account that first got banned the user is (@pocketsgotpadlocks) then ill provide my MAIN account that got banned user is (@imstuckinmyhead)It'd be really appreciated to get my main at least unbanned because its all for something I didn't do. My Discord account was recently disabled for Child Safety. I am ************************************* shared anything inappropriate. I was banned over a year ago for sending something I found in an AI server that was posted in discord to a friend while in a call with them. I just want a human that can understand the situation to review my case and maybe give me a chance to plea my case. I was drunk at the time and the picture that I saw really upset me. Im writing to appeal my permanent suspension and raise serious concerns about the current state of Discords support process. My account was permanently banned over a very old message where I made a horrible and inappropriate joke: I can officially groom minors. I take full responsibility for saying it. It was immature, wrong, and I regret it deeply. Ive grown a lot since then and that message does not reflect who I am today. I live with BPD and have been groomed before myself, so I understand how serious this issue is. I would never harm anyone or engage in anything inappropriate. Summary of the Issue
My Discord account was permanently suspended without warning explanation or any opportunity to provide context. I believe the suspension is based on an old message I deeply regret sending when I was younger. The message said:
I can officially groom minors
This was a terrible impulsive and inappropriate joke made during a time when I was still emotionally immature and coping with past trauma. To be fully transparent I am a survivor of grooming myself and at the time I was unfortunately using dark humor as a misguided way to cope which many trauma survivors do when they lack proper support systems
I recently turned 19 and Ive been doing my best to grow reflect and take accountability for my past behavior. That message was wrong and never should have been said and I fully accept that. However I believe this moment from my past does not define who I am now
I also live with ******************************* BPD which can cause impulsivity and poor judgment in emotional situations. While this doesnt excuse my behavior it is part of the broader context of how the message came to be. I am actively working on emotional growth and personal healing

That message was not part of any actual grooming behavior. It was a bad joke not a threat or real action
I do not speak to minors inappropriately or at all in private and I give full permission for Discord Trust and Safety to review all my DMs logs and server history to confirm this

Transparency from Discord regarding what specific violation led to my suspension
A chance to appeal and potentially restore my account if no ongoing harm or malicious intent is found
The opportunity to show that Ive changed learned from the past and want to move forward in a healthier way
I am not a danger to others and have never acted inappropriately toward minors or anyone else. The message was a terrible lapse in judgment made as part of a maladaptive coping mechanism. Please, Im sincerely asking for a second chance. My account, _narii, was recently suspended over an old and immature message that does not reflect who I am today. I understand how serious the topic was and deeply regret ever making that kind of joke, even if it was made years ago in poor judgment during a difficult time in my life.
It That message was not meant literally, and Ive never spoken to or engaged with minors in any inappropriate way. If you check my account history, servers, and DMs, youll see that Ive followed the rules and never used Discord to harm anyone. I was a victim of grooming myself in the past, and I would never be involved in something like that.
