Dear Discord ************** Team,I am writing to respectfully appeal the recent ban placed on my Discord account on September 9th, 2025, at approximately 1:23 AM, which was issued under the reason of violating Discords Child Safety policies.I take such matters extremely seriously and would never intentionally or knowingly engage in any behavior that endangers or exploits minors. However, I believe this action may have resulted from a misunderstanding or an out-of-context message that I sent during a private or semi-private conversation with another adult, maybe even result of a spamming bot-report incident happening at the time, within an adult-oriented server clearly marked as ******* be clear:The message in question was exchanged between two consenting adults.There was no involvement, mention, or implication of minors in any capacity.The server was labeled and advertised as an adult ************ no point did I believe I was in violation of Discords guidelines, especially those concerning Child Safety.I completely understand the need for Discord to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all users, especially minors. My discord account was banned permanently yesterday without any warning or explanation. They sent me the email saying I was banned with no specific reason or even if the ban was permanent. When I tried to ask why I was banned in a request(request number ********), I got a bot response that just said it was due to a breach of guidelines, which I already know. I am filing this complaint because my Discord account has been unfairly and permanently disabled without any clear explanation, despite being a paying customer for over 6 years with continuous Nitro ***************** is what happened:**** account was initially suspended once, and I was told it was due to violating content. That content was removed, and my account was **************** that, my account was restricted again, and this time it became completely inaccessible. This is effectively a permanent suspension, even though Discords support team continues to send me template responses claiming it is only a temporary limitation.3.I have never received a specific or detailed explanation of what violation I supposedly committed. Without access to my account, I cannot review past messages or provide evidence in my defense.4.I submitted multiple appeals to Discord *************** but each time I only received the same generic response with no actual review of my case.This is unacceptable. I appreciate the response from Discord, but I must strongly object to their vague and dismissive reply.
Discords message only states that my account violated the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines and that they confirmed the violation. However, they have not provided any concrete evidence, specific explanation, or details about what rule was allegedly broken, when it happened, or what content was involved.
As a paying customer of over six years with continuous Nitro subscription, I believe I have the right to know:
What exact action or content allegedly violated the rules.
When and where this violation occurred.
Which specific guideline was broken.
Without this information, I cannot verify whether the suspension was valid, nor can I defend myself against the accusation. Simply saying we confirmed the violation is not a sufficient or fair resolution for a consumer who has invested both money and years into the platform.
I respectfully request that Discord provide a specific and documented explanation of the violation, rather than a generic statement. If they refuse, I believe this raises serious consumer protection concerns, as customers are being permanently banned and stripped of paid services without transparency or due process.

I usually DM people on here and talk in servers very minimally so them claiming that I breach a policy is insane to me. I am rejecting this response because: I believe that I did not violate any terms of use, i also believe this is a copy pasted response and nobody even reviewed my situation, i would like an investigation to be under way, I believe my account may have been compromised using token hijacking I have used the service for years without any violations and all of a sudden now there are a bunch of exploits that get people suspended I seem to fall victim to this, I have been doing my research and either I have been compromised or I am being unfairly banned for making jokes in direct messages about other people which are not of bad nature: I do not see as fair, unless I can be given specific proof of what I have said that violates any terms I do not see this as a valid, and I am very upset with this whole outcome, my account has lots of message history that is very important to me, lots of information and previous music collaborations, I really would like this resolved and fully investigated, or even a reason given to what I said or did wrong, Ive read all of the terms and I cannot see anything that I have personally violated, please even look into my message history, Im not someone who goes out of my way to be disrespectful or cause harm to others.Current supporting factors that it is token hijacking: I use an iPhone and I use my PC only. There is no other way anybody has my login anywhere else. I have no idea how it works fully but maybe someone was able to hijack my session and then breach terms of use? Unless my account was compromised some other way I see no other way for anyone to get my account suspended. But there is lots of research around this being the case for discord bans with other people who are not actively engaging in discord servers and being banned for no reason

On this day (September 9, 2025) my account was suddenly and without warning, permanently suspended due to an incorrect report (not sure if by human or AI) that I was underage. I followed the steps to reinstate my account by proving my age by showing my passport, with my date of birth on it, a selfie of me holding said passport, and a piece of paper showing my Discord username. 9 hours after filing the report, it was marked as Solved, without having had any human interaction or contacted about it being changed. The ticket itself had no responses on it and was seemingly closed without reason. I have been unfairly banned for breaking ToS that I never did break and even after providing evidence, I have been shut off. I use Discord as a developer to keep in contact with others I work with on hobby projects, so this is pretty serious to me. I have attached the ticket ID under Account/Order/Tracking Number but just in case it's: #******** and I will also attach the photo I used to identify my age. I did mark out any heavily identifying information as to protect my privacy, since I do not trust companies these days to not have data breaches but my ID photo and date of birth are clearly shown. About 14 days ago I was permanently banned on discord on my main account due to "child endangerment". This is not only a mistake, but an extremely common one at that. This is extremely I convenient for me because I have so many important messages saved on this app. I even used a different account to text myself and save things as another notes app. So many people have been wrongfully banned like I have and it's extremely sad to think I might not be able to talk to the people I strictly only talked through Discord, or that I will never get back the messages I have pinned. I had been using Discord for about 5 years and never once had an issue because I never even did anything wrong. I only used discord to talk to talk to close friends and friends that have since moved far away. Banned/Suspended permanently on discord for child safety and they provided no proof except a message of me saying Hi and nothing else. I am filing a complaint regarding Discord's decision to permanently ban my account under the allegation of "violent extremism." This accusation is completely false, as I have never engaged in, promoted, or discussed any form of violent or extremist content on the platform. I never participated, spoke, or engaged in any activity within that server.
I only joined the server because a friend invited me, without any knowledge of its nature.
I do not condone or support violent extremism in any form, and such behavior goes against my values.
Additionally, your communication stated that my account was temporarily limited, but in reality, it has been permanently suspended. This inconsistency has caused confusion and has unfairly penalized me despite my clean history of use.

If you wanna check, I was literally a moderator of the server. The user who spammed child **** + **** and mass reported me is a known repeat offender and mass reports everyone.
I used Discord for a long time, supported them, bought Nitro, and more, and I am more than willing to support you more in the future if you took the time to reconsider my ban. Instead of banning me for calling out a predator, you should investigate and take action on the predator himself, he keeps wreaking havoc further without consequences.
