1 starRippling handles only business matters related to employees, everything else is BS:I had an exceptionally awful time following two live demonstrations with rippling staff officials evaluating the software application as a service to manage our payroll and HR administration. It only became a parent to me after being passive aggressively challenged by the sales representative, working with me that the reasoning for the high-pressure tactics and attitude were because the product does not come with a trial evaluation term or any option to demonstrate in a sandbox or live environment outside of the live demo being conducted by staff of rippling. Very upsetting and I was answered with a proposal containing $44 per user per month for basic payroll and HR management, including API access which was $4 per user per month of the bill.Review fromJohann V

1 starAs an IT employee working for a company using Rippling I am greatly disappointed with their lack of phone support. Access issues are impossible for Rippling to address as you need a login to access any real support. Your HR department would be the only viable way to interact with them and they will be busy dealing with the migration in the event you failed to perform due diligence and made better choices. I selected 1 star as its the bare minimum which ironically matches Ripplings commitment to support.Review fromBrooke W

1 starRippling is, without a doubt, the worst system I have ever used.Unless you have an extremely basic, out-of-the-box use case, the platform falls apart quickly. Anything even slightly complex, whether its payroll configurations, time tracking, or policy alignment, becomes a constant battle. Instead of the system supporting your operations, you end up spending an unreasonable amount of time trying to work around its limitations and fixing issues that should not exist in the first place.Whats most concerning is the lack of reliability. Core functions that should be stable, like payroll calculations, have proven inconsistent, which creates significant risk and unnecessary stress. Problems that are supposedly resolved often reappear without explanation, making it very difficult to trust the REMOVEDthis point, it feels less like a solution and more like an ongoing operational burden.I genuinely wish we had been warned about these challenges before committing to a contract. We will absolutely be moving away from Rippling as soon as our agreement allows.Review fromAvian L

1 starOver the past 3 weeks, I have been assigned countless account executives and forced to repeat my inquiries every single time a clear sign of poor internal communication. My account manager's only contribution was redirecting me to other people, never actually resolving anything. What's more troubling: I had to explain to my account manager what an FSA (Flexible Spending Account) is. This is a basic benefits concept that any HR platform representative should know. Instead of addressing my initial setup which remains incomplete to this day the account manager's sole focus was upselling me on new services.I would not recommend Rippling to anyone expecting responsive, knowledgeable support during onboarding.Review fromBrynn F

1 starI would prefer to give them ZERO stars. Rippling is HORRIBLE. When they make mistakes they RUFUSE to take accountability and continue to argue with their customers. Their customer service model is about how much money they can get NOT about actually providing good services to customers. They will continue to argue with you even when you present them with facts. The fact that they only have 1.48 stars and are yet a BBB A+ shows that they are not afraid to just throw money at things because they are actively ripping companies off.Review fromBrad B

1 starI am writing to formally express my profound dissatisfaction with your refusal to provide a pro-rated refund for services that were never successfully rendered.Based on a demonstration that promised a "simple" onboarding process, I took a chance on your platform as a small business owner. Those promises proved false. Your CSV mapping tool failed repeatedly, forcing me to waste countless hours of my own time attempting to rectify your system's technical shortcomings. The platform is neither user-friendly nor intuitive, and it ultimately failed to deliver the core functionality promised during the sales cycle.During my discussion with your advisor, I acted in good faith by offering to pay for the first three months of servicedespite the fact that I was unable to use the product due to its own defects. My request was simple: Release me from the remainder of the contract and reimburse me for the unused, unrendered services.Your decision to hide behind a one-year contractdelivered after a three-week silenceis a clear admission of your corporate priorities. A company that claims to support small and medium-sized businesses would recognize a service failure and rectify it. Instead, you have chosen to prioritize your bottom line over professional integrity and customer REMOVEDforcing a small business to pay for a full year of a non-functional service, you have demonstrated that you are not a partner, but a predator of small business budgets.Consider this my final notice that I will be sharing my experience across all relevant professional networks and review platforms. I strongly advise any business considering your services to look elsewhere for a provider that actually values its clients.Review fromAlix G

1 starConnected the REMOVEDWorkspace app which sneakily committed my company to a reseller relationship with Rippling and 50 full price licenses I didn't need. After the first charge I contacted Rippling Support and was kicked around to multiple REMOVEDuntil one informed me they'd provide a refund and confirmed the subscription was cancelled. I received 3 more charges after this, contacted support each time, and was ignored for over a month. Finally was told this is REMOVED's problem even though Rippling took the money from our bank and REMOVEDclaims no responsibility. Paid $1200/month for REMOVEDlicenses I didn't need and I don't even think Rippling paid REMOVEDfor them! This is effectively exploitation, stealing, and fraud. I do not recommend Rippling for startups or anyone who doesn't have hours to waste chasing support REMOVEDfor a few thousand dollars that never should have been pulled from my bank.Review fromSpencer P
