  They advertise a "free search". I figured maybe one search is free, and they would charge after that or maybe it would be a free trial period... ****. It's an absolute lie. And they try to bait you by constantly telling you that you might be shocked by the content of the report or that the person you are researching has committed crimes and is on a government watchlist. They don't do this once, they do this over and over again. I believe that they are trying to build up suspense by implying that the person you are researching has done shocking things you probably don't know about. It's all BS. Don't fall for this c***

  This site is leaving incorrect information on me. My personal and private identity is being exposed to every thief, telemarketer, salesperson, and realtors .Remove everything that makes me a target for criminals, etc. If you don't remove within 2 weeks a lawsuit will be issued.   What a colossal waste of time going through the 30 minute process of being asked to keep hitting a "continue" button while they supposedly are gathering all of this supposed information about someone you asked about. Then after their software program designed to get you all pumped up about seeing this vast library of information that they have collected finally gets to 100% with 0% remaining you are taken to their subscription page where you find out that you will not be able to see ANYTHING that they have supposedly gathered unless you give them money. There was no part of the maybe 30 different useless screens you had to agree and hit a button to continue on did it say that you would be required to pay money to see it. Atleast there was no place that I read that this was required. If they started the process with a screen that said "it will take us 20 to 30 minutes to gather all of the information available on the person that you are inquiring about. During this period there will be many legal pages where we will need your verification and agreement and several pages that are just sales and marketing efforts. At the end of this process but before you will be allowed to see the report you will be required to subscribe to our service costing you $24 to $79 today. Please hit the "continue" button if you would like to move forward." They may initially lose those people who figured that they had endured the process and wouldn't want to live with wasting their time with no reward. But they would possibly gain those potential subscribers who appreciate the fact that they had the initial honest disclosure. For me, their software felt like such a scam that I was being sold that I chose to spend an equal amount of time reporting on the BBB website to help others know what is real. Thank you

  This site is a total rip off. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Every search comes up with NO SOCIAL MEDIA INFO, when I know they are on social media, NO LICENSE INFO, when I know they have business licenses, NO FINANCIAL INFO,NO ASSET INFO and NO CRIMINAL HISTORY WHEN I KNOW THEY HAVE CRIMINAL HISTORY. I have put in 10 names to search and this site found 2 with only the basic info. iGoogle search found them all. You get more information using a ****** search for free.

  I searched my own name just to see what would come up and immediately noticed things that would encourage an inaccurate assumption of who I am without even purchasing anything. First, I never lived anywhere but CT, but they have me listed as having lived in ********, **. Second, to specifically state that I am on any government watch list before a report can even be viewed is incredibly irresponsible on Truthfinders part because it in fact is not true but someone may actually believe it without ever confirming it. Next, I also received a warning that my own report includes images containing ******, not MAY include, includes. Another lie as I have NEVER allowed myself to be photographed nude! If this does contain them, they were obtained in some illegal way. Then, an alert came up claiming my information is graphic so it had to be confirmed that I was 18 or older. All of this feels like bait to keep the persons interest so Truthfinder can collect money for telling a bunch of lies. The only thing they could accurately and truthfully reveal is that I have a bankruptcy claim, which was from over 20 + years ago after a car accident when about 20 and one speeding ticket. Everything else created a false idea based on lies of who I am. I was disgusted by how Truthfinder used their verbiage to keep my attention so they could charge me in the end to find out if any of it was even true! They need to held responsible for the click bait tactics they use as it can be extremely damaging if the person using their site has chosen to simply use that pre-provided information as a basis to make any decision on that person and not purchase and review the actual report. And I honestly question if that information is even factual. Total lack of transparency, completely irresponsible, and in my opinion, criminal.

  ***********'s reports contain basic information that is available via a good internet search. Also, their reports contain inaccurate information, like incorrect dates and associating unknown people with the person who is being investigated. I signed up and canceled my membership within the same hour. Their BBB rating is confounding given the many negative experiences users have had, which are reflected in the review information on the BBB site.
