      I have been trying for over a year to get this website to remove my personal email address of ***************** that they have falsely listed as a contact for someone named *************************** at ***************************************************************. I am not this person and I have never even heard of her. ref: ******************************************************************************* They refuse to do so and now my address is being targeted by spammers because they have it listed on thier site and claiming it belongs to someone I have never heard of. When I try to junp thru the removal process hoops their site rejects it stating my address is not on there but it CLEARLY is.

       That is what I was told last year as well.  I prefer to wait to see if they indeed honor this latest attempt to get them to remove my personal information that they have incorrectly posted under the name of some stranger.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  After a year of requests and complaints the website finally removed the inaccurate information from their website that exposed my personal information which was incorrectly assigned to an unknown party.  It was disappointing that it took a complaint to the BBB to get this matter resolved but the email addresses have been removed.  I will continue to monitor the data to ensure the inaccurate information does not reappear.

      Instantcheckmate continues to publish personal information which compromises and jeopardizes me, my family, and young children. The company refuses to give the name(s) of investigators.Requests have been made on more than several occasions to instantcheckmate.com to remove any and all information that they publish regarding the request about my personal information and public account. The company and the information support criminals with the intent to commit a child abduction. Information is not accurate and support, it leads to deception or incomplete disclosure in research deliberately given false information about some aspect of the research.

      I attempted to use the supression tool in your website, however it's made purposely difficult so it is never successful. Emails with screenshots of my personal information are being discarded and I am not being given resolution. My information has yet to be removed.       I keep getting "push notifications" but I am choosing to not use their service (the implication was that it was free). They say I can "unsubscribe" but I can't find the link that allows me to do this. Sounds like a typical "phishing" tool though I'd be disappointed if it was.

      Interesting response.  I'm not getting emails from them so haven't an email to provide a link to "unsubscribe."   Coincidentally, I just opened my computer and a notification AGAIN showed up reminding me that my report from them was still available.  I did try to get the notification removed using my computer system but that apparently didn't work.  Maybe it takes a while for their "fix" to take effect.  Or they could send me an email and I'd be glad to click on unsubscribe---though I've never actually subscribed.  My suspicious side is beginning to think if I send them money...first...they will then and only then let me unsubscribe...keeping the money, of course.  Hopefully, that's not the case.

      I did a quick search on the internet of my name and found they have my information. - Tried to follow the steps to have my private information removed but you have to pay and become a member for them to help you directly - they have a link to another site if you dont use the above option, however the other website makes ask you to use your contact information to verify your identity 1. After selecting a contact method to verify my identity the button to continue never enabled for me to move forward 2. Most of the contact information is out of date and I wasnt able to use or try other methods I want my data deleted from their website immediately!!!!

      I was notified by 2 credit card companies that this entity reported a hacking breach in my account, but I can find nothing further about them explaining why they reported this or how to remedy it. They only divulge that my email was breached and I should take steps to prevent loss. If they are alerting me, how do they have no further information? If I can't locate the breach without them, how do I know pertinent information to try to secure? And how do they know there's been a breach? I'm very concerned I am exposed and may have my accounts hijacked with bank accounts as well.

      I attempted to utilize this site however, it provided incorrect information regarding the person I was searching for. I canceled my membership immediately. Yet I was still charged several times. I had a great deal of difficulty with their website. I made several attempts to tell them. The information was incorrect. Im not even certain if it reached anyone? The website takes seemingly forever to provide information. The majority of the time it was not worth my time to sit and watch, its been. As I said the one and only time it provided the information requested it was incorrect. I do not feel I should be charged for incorrect information, especially since it is extremely difficult to speak with anyone from this company. Thank you.
