      I signed up for a one time people finder and they charged me for two months $29 each time. I reported it to them and to my bank and to ****** this business is fraudulent.

      Peoplefinders started charging me $24.95 per month for a service I did not agree to. I paid $0.95 for a report, but did not subscribe to a membership. I have cancelled my "membership". If the charge appears again on my credit card, I will dispute it through the credit card company. Once I know they are no longer charging me, I will delete my account so ********************** no longer has my credit card information.The only good thing about Peoplefinders is that it appears easy to cancel the monthly membership. I only hope that they actually do so and stop charging **** view Peoplefinders as a fundamentally dishonest business that tricks people into providing their credit card information. They then start charging this monthly membership fee.This company and the people who run/own it are a bunch of leeches on society. I hope they go out of business.

      I used PeopleFinders just once, I mean an one time purchase and paid $1.45. A couple days later they took $24.95 from my Bank account without my authorization, as a membership subscription which I have never requested. My bank sent a fraud alert immediately and blocked my card. Later I
      issued a new bank card, but unfortunately I have to wait for the Bank's dispute process to have my money back.
      I encourage to do not provide your bank account or debt card to them.

      I wish I had red these reviews before I asked for a one time service from People Finders. I also ended up with an unwanted subscription. Judging by the return letter they must have a preprinted form relating to this issue since the same thing appears to happen to many unsuspecting inquirers. I find the way they dupe people in this manner totally unacceptable if not unethical. The one star rating is one too many..!

      I paid for a 3-day trial membership that canceled before it's expiration according to the site. However, 15 days later a monthly subscription fee is charged to my account. I check to see if I have access which I do not and call customer support. The agent, Santiago states that everything is still active and this is my monthly charge. I requested again for this subscription to be canceled. This must be the way this company makes a money by not canceling subscriptions at the customers request. I have learned my lesson and will not use their service and encourage others not to as well.

You had the option to cancel this membership trial at any time on the website, via email, or with a representative over the phone. We have received your cancellation after the 3 day trial has ended. Your trial began on 09/28 and you were charged for our monthly subscription on 10/01 due to cancellation not being processed prior. When you called in to our Customer Care team on 10/16, our rep Santiago then canceled the membership for you and you have not been billed since.

      WHAT A RIPOFF!!! 95cent, one time search, turned into a $25 charge for an ongoing membership I did not want and of which I was unaware. I contacted them about cancellation and a refund, but they indicated that it was beyond a three day period of which I was unaware. This site is a scam.
