    I purchased a membership subscription for $21.21 a month with being able to cancel at anytime. My subscription was successfully cancelled and even when I log on it states that my subscription is inactive yet they continue to take money from my debit card for the membership. I have contacted them a few times.

    This site charges an unethical amount of money considering that their target consumers are students. I was hoping to utilize the resources of Study.com for a couple of upcoming licensure exams that I'll be taking. However, the site quoted me $70/month to use those resources. As students, we already struggle to afford basic living expenses due to time restraints surrounding work opportunities, and the enormous amount of money that we already pay in tuition costs. In regards to my own personal situation, my financial difficulties are further compromised, because I'm a single mother of three children. This site is taking advantage of students who are trying to further their education, and who simply want to find resources that they can use to be successful. If study.com was truly in the business of helping students succeed, they'd lower their costs dramatically and/or provide their services for free to individuals who demonstrate financial hardship. As it currently stands, this company is simply preying on vulnerable students who are seeking academic support services.

    I signed up for a free 7 day trial. I was immediately charged for two ***** charges on my account even though I cancelled within the 7 day trial period. You absolutely cannot reach anyone at this company Do not sign up for the free trial service period!!! Beware it is a scam!! B

    My bank account was fraudulently charged by this company. I have never even heard of them. No one else has access to my card. When I called them to see if it could be resolved they just took down my name and phone number. Not high hopes that my money will be returned with that small amount of information but this is the route my bank is making me take.

    I was hired by Study.com as a contractor to write long ****** plans for $50 a plan. I completed five ****** plans (which were approved) and then the sixth was returned to me. ***********************/*************************** stated that they didn't like the ****** plan because it used repetitive language and didn't address exactly what it was supposed to (it did address those things and there wasn't much repetitive language- the questions being asked were repetitive). In any case, they usually send a ****** back to you for revision if the reviewer wants you to change anything. Instead, they said that they were terminating my contract because I used repetitive language on that one and blocked me from accessing the account. The ****** plan was fine and I thought the whole thing was shady. I could have revised it to their satisfaction. Plus, it was really low wages for what was asked of me- I spent at least 4-5 hours on each of those ******s. I have an MBA and a PhD so I am more than capable of writing these plans. (I've attached our email exchange related to it)Regardless, my goals are two-fold: 1) To be paid for the ******s I wrote- $250 (the 5 approved that I completed). I have an invoice from when I had only completed three. Unfortunately, I am unable to access the latest one (showing all 5) because I can't access the site. I attached the partial invoice to this complaint.2) To warn others who may get taken by this company. I do feel that something really unethical is happening there with making people work and then not paying them. It's a scam. I realize that this is not a huge amount of money, but I did the work and it's not fair to not be compensated and then also treated so poorly. I don't want others to make the same mistake. I don't want to work with study.com anymore, but I do deserve to be compensated for my time. Thanks for your help.

    Purchased a solution from Enhanced Prep but the output was not inline with their advertised standards of 95% acceptance rate. Website is unclear, questionable, and misleading. Attempted to seek resolution with previous advisor, however got nowhere. For the money we paid and the outcome we were lead to believe would occur; we were lead astray.

    What you have advertised on your website and what we were 'sold' are not the same thing.  She did make an improvement, it was not within the bounds of the what you advertised 95% of your students .  As such, your advertisement is false and misleading.

    I have paid the company a total of over $700.00. I attempted to cancel my subscription with the company both via email and on their online contact site. The 'submit' button on both the cancellation form and ******************* site did not work so I attempted to send an email to their contact email and received an error message that something was wrong with the address (copied and pasted from their site). I did cancel payment via paypal, but do not know if it will be honored.

    Yesterday, 12/27/2022, I went on Study.com's site and signed up for a free trial. On their website it states - and I took pictures of the screen every step of the way because I did not understand why they would need my card number - "payment information - here's why we ask for your payment info - 1. Integrity - Without a credit card on file, spammers could create fake accounts and ruin the integrity of our program..." (etcetera)They literally lie ON THEIR SITE! I checked my bank account today, 12/28/2022, and they had taken $59.99 out of my account AND I am having to "cancel" a subscription that I never signed up for, which they won't do until January 27, 2023, according to their website when I tried to contact them to get my money back. Additionally, when you call their customer service number, you have two choices - press 1 or 2. Both choices lead to the same message; no one answers. The message says to leave your name and number and they will call you back. I am shocked at this obvious bait and switch being used by a well known company. This is fraud. I want my money back. I can't believe Study.com are such shysters. It's shocking.

    I want to start by saying that I think Study.com is a great resource. Higher education is incredibly expensive and it has allowed me to save a lot of money. However I have had 2 unrelated issues over the past 2 months I would like to see resolved. The first is for my bill on 10/14. I had just finished the required quizzes and went to register for the test but it wouldn't allow me to do so. It said I needed to "finish all required quizzes". It turns out they had updated the class quiz requirements but this took some time to update and I didn't see any new quizzes until the next day when my test credits had expired and I had been charged again already. I attempted to resolve this which led to the customer support rep I was working with to simply give generic responses with no real help. I sent screen shots of proof showing that my account would not let me register, and also that I had completely finished all quizzes. I filed a dispute with my credit card issuer for that charge and I expect the outcome to come out in my favor.

    The second issue is for the most recent charge on 11/14. According to my receipt I should have had access until 12/13/22. However my account was cancelled early at 11:41am on 12/12/22. (have email proof) I was again planning on taking 2 tests that night. All of my work to get those classes done on time went down the drain. All I had left were a few more quizzes and the tests, now it wants another 200 dollars. I also asked about this and they told me that my account was under "investigation" because I had submitted a dispute last month so I can't use my account. This is incredibly unprofessional and comes across like Im the one making the mistakes. I don't want to rip anyone off I just want to be treated fairly and to use the service I paid for, in the timeframe I was told I could use it. I expect a refund, or access to be granted back to my account and 2 test credits to be issued.
