My Facebook account was hijacked. The imposter was able to infiltrate my account in minutes. I did have the 2-step verification setup. My username was ******************************, and the phone number is ************. This account has been active since 2009. There is so much information, memories, personal identification, and everything else important. I have never violated the Facebook policy or been in any kind of trouble with Facebook. Facebook is aware that an imposter account has been created using my elderly mothers email and set up using her identity. My mother feels violated knowing someone has stolen her email and identity and that Facebook refuses to shut down the fake account and or give her information to hep her know who is falsely using her identity. In reference to Meta Case-#**************** started an AD campaign with Meta for my commercial roofing business, I ran the campaign twice. The first time the campaign had substantial leads that I could actually verify, had real phone numbers, and had actual Facebook pages-not made up just for extra clicks or to spam. The second time I ran the campaign, I noticed almost every profile that either showed interest, liked the ad etc were either fake or spam intentional profiles, every single lead that I got was from people that either had fake phone numbers, or told me they certainly had no interest in my services and didnt know how their information was forwarded to me; I even had one lady tell me it was crazy I was forwarded her information as she had sold her property 2 months prior to my campaign start date. I would like a refund for my AD campaign charges for the month of January and February. There was nothing set different on my settings between the first run and the second, so there should have been no difference in fake or spam clicks on my adInitial Complaint

Facebook/Meta continues to suspend accounts that arent apart of their standards yet its ever changing. They make you go through a suspension and a prove your account by getting access to your camera and private info to possibly unlock the account. If a comment question the current government your account will be locked. They are violating free speech of the opposing viewpoint and its getting tiring to use the platform to even comment on a balloon near my home.Initial Complaint

I have reported over 5x as well as others that ***************************************************** has been hacked by *********************** and the hacker was then allowed to change her password and email after "This was not me" email failed to secure her account. Since January 29, 2023 the account remains open although it has been reported as hacked. Recently someone from her friends list was messaged and the hacker pretending to be her, asked for over $300 and the codes that were sent to them. That friend was then locked out of their account after confirmation that they were talking to the hacker and locked out for bullying. How many reports did the hacker have to make to have that account locked for two words that was written to them but the hacked account is still open, is ridiculous. The hacker has asked a majority of her friends list for money pretending to be her and even using her childs name for empathy til this day. Facebook has no real security and any effort to use the security protocols were pointless because they failed to respond and when you try to report from the Facebook app, you are given articles to read and there is no real person to report to although I have sent the *** several emails about this hacked account.Initial Complaint

On 2.12.23 I got notice of someone trying to login to my facebook account from *******. I hit 'no' it was not me. On 2.13.23, while I slept, someone looged into my account from *******, **. They must have posted or sent something graphic after hacking my account. I woke up to notices of my account being disabled. I noted my account was hacked and provided identification documentation...even uploading my drivers license.I have recieved no communication. I can't reach anyone for followup via email or phone. And when I seek help on the website it states my account is disabled and will never be reversed.After a decade of using Facebook...I will lose all my personal memories and business pages without any cause. Looking online...it appears this same nightmare scenario happens to thousands of users.I would like Facebook to do the right thing and restore my account. Over a week ago my Facebook/instagram account was hacked. While it was hacked, the hacker posted spam content, which put my account in lock-down and it is now suspended. I am currently awaiting approval to revive my account, but it's been 11 days over the "24 hour response" period.I am concerned my appeal will be rejected because of the posts made by the hacker. As those posts were not made by me, it is not justified for the account to be permanently closed. I have had the account for over 5 years and have never done anything to merit a suspension. I simply want a faster response from Facebook/Meta and want my accounts back. Subject: Request for Assistance in Regard to Hacked and Disabled Facebook Profile Dear Attorney General,I am writing to bring to your attention a critical issue that I am currently facing with Facebook. My Facebook account, which I have been using for many years now, has been hacked and disabled without my knowledge or consent.I have tried repeatedly to contact Facebook's customer service team to resolve this issue, but to no avail. Facebook does not evenly apply their "community standards." They also promote violence, as long as it is against law enforcement or people who are conservative or white and male. I reported a picture that displays graphic violence. It shows three individuals walking away, one carrying a Malatov cocktail and one holding a banner as they declare lives over property while burning a police car. I reported it and they said it doesn't go against standards of violence and reported it again for another look and they closed it saying it doesn't go against their standards. HOW?!?!!! It clearly displays violent actions against a group of people, but Facebook clearly supports this point of view. They do not apply their standards or punishments evenly!!!!Meta Technology Company is NOT a BBB Accredited Business.
