Subject: Urgent Complaint - Restrictive Practices on Instagram Account Under ********************** Dear Better Business Bureau,I am reaching out to bring to your attention serious concerns I have regarding the policies enforced by Meta Technology Company on my Instagram account. These matters pertain to the inability to delete individual threads without deleting the entire account, and the forced usage of Meta's badge on my Instagram account. I find these practices not only frustrating but also in direct violation of my user rights.Restriction on Thread Deletion: Despite my attempts to delete specific threads, I have been told that this can only be achieved by deleting my entire Instagram account. I have examined Meta's terms of service and community guidelines, and nowhere does it mention this requirement. This is highly unreasonable and contrary to what I would expect as a user.Forced Usage of Meta's Badge: Additionally, I am being mandated to use Meta's badge as a link to threads, despite my efforts to remove it. Again, the documents governing the platform make no mention of this obligation. These practices are neither user-friendly nor transparent. As someone who has invested significant time and resources into building an online presence on Meta's platform, the current state of affairs is unacceptable. Here are my requests:Allowing Individual Thread Deletion: Provide users with the option to delete individual threads without needing to delete the entire account.Autonomy Over Badge Usage: ***** users the freedom to decide whether to use Meta's badge on their Instagram accounts.I expect a prompt and satisfactory resolution to these complaints. Deleting my account is not an option, as this would erase all the hard work and effort put into building my presence on the platform. Please treat this matter with the seriousness and urgency it warrants. If the response is not satisfactory within a reasonable timeframe, I will consider alternative measures, including seeking legal counsel.Thank you for your immediate attention to these issues. I trust that you will work swiftly to ensure a more user-friendly approach on the Meta platform. Your cooperation in resolving this matter is highly appreciated.

I cannot log in change my password or receive a code because the hacker changed all of my information. I was able to reset my password for my email and other social media but not Facebook. I am frustrated taht ** one will respond to my complaints.

I am one of millions of users of the Facebook platform. My complaint is as a user of their product we are unable to contact or have interaction with any human being who works for Facebook or its parent company, Meta, for means of customer service. And I find it unfathomable that this is a legal practice. I understand that we enter into using the platform willingly. By signing up we agree to their terms of service. However, it seems that Facebook's rules and means of enforcing such are arbitrary. And when an end user, like me one of millions, has a need for help or guidance the only thing available are some tabs on a web page full of jargon which basically seems to be umbrella allowances to cover Facebook's random practices. I have been a 15-year user of the platform. I use it for communicating with old friends near and far, I use it as a means to store photos and memories, I use it as a means to fill empty time in my day. I like posts; I read articles; I share pictures; I comment to friends. I have been doing this for 15 years with no problem. But in the last 11 days I have been arbitrarily restricted from using Facebook, with no explanation from the platform. Four times in 11 days to be precise. I've done nothing more than what I have done on that platform for 15 years, and done what the platform was designed for for people to share their lives online. I like pictures, I like videos, I send comments to friends. I might share an article or a photo or a funny cartoon. But for some reason suddenly the ** at Facebook has deemed what I am doing as problematic in some way. I don't know because you can't contact a human being you can't get an explanation from anybody, they basically say read our TOs and figure it out yourself. I want an explanation from someone there. It's absolutely ridiculous that they live behind this Great Wall that is Untouchable to the precise people who are the bread and butter of their company. Facebook would be nowhere without the end users.

I have been having problems with Meta (Facebook) since the middle of June. Virtually every day I am being locked out of my account with their excuse of suspicious ***************** that I've been hacked. No evidence of being hacked. Today I posted 1 picture from Pinterest of Autumn scenery. It takes forever for them to unlock it. I have supplied ID's repeatedly. Asked repeatedly to check their bots because I believe they are malfunctioning or this is harassment! I am asking that you contact them to ask them to repair this issue as I never hear from them. My account is under *********@yahoo.com.I am frustrated & angry as to no correspondence from this company explaining this situation. I am not the only one going through this! I have copies of most of the lock outs that I've incurred.

On 7/11 my facebook was hacked. I accidentlaly gave someone my two factor authentication code. There is no way to retrieve my account. I lost alot of information through the account. ******************** offers no support no human to speak to. They say to use their help center to fix the problem. Well the help center doesnt work. I tried to re gain access to the account using my ID and everything. Hackers have two factor authentication on and they have access to the email and phone number associated with it. I filed a police report about it.

Yesterday morning 8/10/2023 at about 3AM I got a notification that my facebook password had been changed. I then tried to access my facebook and my account had been hijacked and then disabled. I tried to reclaim my account but I couldn't not reclaim I was told my account violated community standards, However I didn't post anything I believe this was something that the person who hijacked my account did. I also found that they purchased Ads from Meta on my facebook account charging my Paypal account. I tried to create a new account and this account was also deactivated when I had only posted in a DeLorean owners group a photo of my car. However I was asleep when my account was hijacked.

Facebook blocked my account demanding I provide them a picture of my driver's license and a recent utility bill in order to reactivate my account. They have no legal right to deny me access when I have an alternate email and fingerprint verification tied to accessing the account to already prove it is me. This block came on the heels of my submitting a couple complaints about the Facebook Marketplace rejection of a couple items I was trying to sell, but they refused to clarify what policy was allegedly in violation. Facebook is obviously retaliating and is in violation of their own policies with how they have blocked me from the site.

Sold three items on Facebook(META) Marketplace. Buyers have all received their items and I have not received my payouts for all three sales. Contacted Facebook a few times for support and an automated bot replies each time with no resolution. I checked my **** of America account and no deposits have been made for all three payouts. Payout amounts are $56.05, $42.29, $4.42. These buyers all have my items for free at this point. I have attached proof of my orders along with the amounts of each payout owed to me.
