On January 4th 2024, our Meta advertising account was accessed by an unknown actor. They proceeded to fraudulently spend $18,000 in advertising using our payment details linked to the account, which are required to be present by Meta.Meta have locked our account as a result, but have failed to unlock it or tell us when they expect to have completed their investigation. It has been over 45 days since the incident occurred and Meta have made no attempt to explain how their investigation is going despite us asking regularly for updates.Given that both **** and PayPal have acted within hours to rectify our situation, it is wholly unacceptable for Meta to take so long to find out what has happened and restore service.

I have a facebook account that I freezed a couple of years ago. I would like to first activate my account however I dont remember the mail address that I gave. I am trying to activate my account via my mobile number; but for security reasons I am asked to share my ID card and a communication e-mail address. THE PROBLEM IS: I could not get the confirmation code which is said to be sent to the e-mail address that I shared for communication. I tried with 3 or 4 different e-mail addresses but none of them works. I am desperately looking for a solution and kindly request your agile help. Please... Thank you.

Around late January, I contacted Meta support regarding visual software issues for my Quest Pro device. On January 31st, I got my first email from Meta Quest support in regards to the visual display software issues. After troubleshooting, **** sent me a *** (Return Merchandise Authorization) number to send back my headset to their warehouse for a replacement, this *** number being #*************** which was provided on February 6th. I shipped my headset out to their warehouse on the 7th of Feb. and it arrived to them on the 12th of February and it was signed for by ******. Since the delivery of my product, I have not been contacted back except for one email sent from River on their logistics team on February 16th, which told me to send them the rest of my kit (controllers, adapter, charging cable, charging dock), despite the fact that I was told in earlier emails to only send back my headset, which I did. I have spoken to numerous support agents on Meta's support website about the reasons for delay and have not been given an answer as to why it's delayed except for one: "It seems there is an error with the order number," which was told to me by a support agent named **** on the 15th of February. This was the only time that this answer was brought up by a support agent, I have not been provided any clarification on what this answer means. Numerous times I have been told I will be emailed by a specialized team in 48 hours. After every 48 hours, I spoke to a new support agent who told me that they didn't have any answers for me and that their specialized team will look into it and email me. To add, the *** number I mentioned earlier was cancelled when I was sent the email by River that I mentioned previously, whom provided me a new *** number which is: #**************** . Today (February 18th,2024) I spoke to an agent named ***. *** told me, "I will assure you that this will be the last time you are waiting on this issue." I haven't been emailed since River's email.

June 2022, my wifes ************************* facebook was hacked and she couldnt get back into it, we reported it over the next several months sent emails daily with no response from Facebook(meta) about it. In the past week the hacker has made a post in her name about selling a car and got money from friends and older people we know scamming them pretending to be my wife *************************, numerous people reported the post and the fake account and ********************/meta didnt respond to any of the reports. It is sad that a company as big as facebook/meta that will delete your account for political views but will do nothing about identity theft and people scamming people out of money

Date: 2/18/2023 - 2/18/2024 Amount Paid: $15/mo for 4-5 months Business Commitment: A social media platform Nature of the Dispute: Federal law regulates psychological manipulation for advertising platforms. My case is that Facebook's Recommendation platform "advertises" other Facebook pages or users, that could be content creators, and allows psychological manipulation to occur. The business has not made any effort to resolve this problem in *******, they were forced to offer an option in Europe Account: JaredWeisinger1 Ads Seen/Heard: The ads are seen constantly on my Facebook feed. I often get posts recommended to me that manipulate my psychological perspective on topics such as my friends, my beliefs, and other topics that have further isolated me from friends/family for agreeing with them. An example of the commonly recommended one for me is pages about Joker that encourage me not to hang out with my friends. These posts, in the form of "memes", are advertised to me and psychologically affect me. I saw they are advertised because, while without payment, a recommendation algorithm selects the topics and promotes it to me. In addition, I feel that with their ads and endless scrolling, it is psychological manipulation used to keep you scrolling infinitely with ads that are vibrant and attention seeking. I have often referred to myself as being in a "trance" and unable to stop scrolling.

Hello i have a bussiness in my country *************** i have a website and also legal company , i was working on instagrams platform with my bussiness account @eros.underwear for the last 3 years and i have invested a lot in that bussiness and instagram account. It was my main and only income. On 06/02/2024 my account got suspended and disbaled by AI technology on instagram eithout giving me any real explanation what happened. Since i was following all the rules of their platform and worked honestly and i was suspended and disabled for account integrity i think thei AI technology made a mistake, since then i am not able to work or have any real solution to this problem by their side, this situation impacts a big problem to my mental health and economic situation, i have workshop in my country and i have people who work for me and expect a salary from me so the account @eros.underwear is a really serious thing for me. I would expect from Meta to see their mistake and reactivate my account back so i can continue work on their platform

Facebook/Meta has nothing in place to vet ads. Their ads are mostly scams, frauds, and predatory. There is no control. These are becoming increasingly harmful. Someone needs to step in and hold them accountable for their damages to society.
