    I'm very upset. I agree & have the same complaint as **** C! Been a Ring customer for about ****. I have the basic protection plan & because of updating their service, I can not access my modes. AND,,,on upon arriving home I noticed my "ring" was turned "on" & I got my notification there was motion detected. I DID NOT TURN MY RING ON! My phone had been totally untouched! This was done w/out my Authorization,,& knowledge!! AND...this the the only way I found out my ring controls had been changed!! So......i will be contacting Legal Authorities to file a Formal complaint! This is a total breach of my privacy in my own home!!! BEWARE PEOPLE! IT WAS TURNED ON WITHOUT ME DOING ANYTHING. I SWEAR MY PHONE WAS UNTOUCHED.

    I have a RING Basic Protect Plan that I have subscribed to for many years. I was able to use Modes to easily arm and disarm my RING doorbell camera. The RING customer service *** told me that ********************** just disabled this feature within the past week for the Basic Protect Plan. The *** said that RING sent an e-mail on August 7th announcing this change, but I never received the e-mail and the *** could not send it to me. I am very frustrated that RING would make a material change to my service during a subscription year without any communication. In addition, RING has increased the cost of its Basic Protect Plan from $30.00 in 2022 to $39.99 in 2023 to $49.99 in 2024, which is a 67% increase over three years.

    They are currently changing their plans. I think most can read between the lines on this. Provide less, charge more. At any rate, I spent the better part of two hours trying to get them to prorate my current plan to the new priced plan. I warn anyone who reads this the home monitoring is now an additional cost. I will be getting less features but paying the same price because of this. Be ware

    I am on a ring plan and i was told i am under extended warranty and that i would get a replacement, however i called after not receiving a shipping label or product and i was told i wouldnt get a replacement because i dont have extended warranty. They lied and refused to provide a free replacement after their ****** .

    I have been utilizing my RING devices for notifications. Our cameras have been working great. I'm sure the ** summer decreases the battery power, but haven't had issues with the devices. Our main issue is when we have issues to report, our reports are consistently denied. So safety reports about potential vagrants in the neighborhood or suspicious activity.. denied constantly. So the cameras allow the videos to be taken, but you can't report anything due to the 'REVIEW BOARD' denying every post I attempt. You cannot be specific about a race of a person for assistance in finding individuals. Terrible company, and I hope I can get my money back for the constant refusal to post my safety concerns.

    I purchased a ring dash cam when they first came out and 9 months after my warranty expired, somehow it stopped working I called, and they were no help. Even when I asked if I could get a refurbished one or mail mine so it can get fixed. Because who know when they will go on sale again, he was no help they just said my warranty expired and they couldn't help. I went ahead and cancelled everything.

    I purchase Ring cameras for my home because I thought Ring was a reputable, honest company, but I guess I was wrong. One of my cameras only lasted 2 years. **************** says there is nothing to be done, and wanted me to purchase another camera. $200 to last only 2 years is a joke.

    Terrible service. The doorbell is the only upside. The cameras lose signal easily and there is a scavenger **** that the customer is tasked with in order to get a replacement for a faulty system. If you must purchase ring, purchase from ****** and not from there direct website. At the very least, ****** will take returns for faulty product where ring has a long list of checkpoints. Suggest you get a more sophisticated software!

    I have been a Ring customer for many years, and until recently, I could control my alarm system through the app, regardless of having a paid plan. Now, the company forces customers to pay for a subscription to have any remote control over their system. Although the website implies that you can obtain a basic plan at a lower cost and have full app functionality, this is not true. The company requires that you either have a pro or plus plan to control device modes, etc., from the app.

    I have been a ring customer over 7 years. I pay for the ********************** protect plan when my devices were stolen after 8 hours on phone being told my devices would be replaced flooding up serial numbers filing police report and numerous so called managers suing they were processing my order. I am told the next day that the pathlights are not covered. The same pathlights that were covered in March of 2022 because they replaced a few due to theft back then. I asked for an address for corporate to write. Complaint letter only to be told there is no address. I do NOT recommend ring to anyone they do not treat their customers with an ounce of respect or appreciation
