    I bought a doorbell plus June 2024 it had only worked for a couple months. We have called customer service numerous times and did not receive a fair compensation. We have tried all recommendations of reinstalling the app, reconnecting the modem, placing the doorbell right next to the modem etc our doorbell shows no picture even if it says it connected and no longer fully charges I believe we have a faulty doorbell as all other devices in our home work off our wifi

    I had been a customer of ********************** since 2016 until today. I purchased all the equipment and I paid the yearly subscription of $108.62 for their professional monitoring. It was setup on automatic renew and the service was wonderful for years. I even recommended ring to others. But then on 7/19/25 I was charged $108.62 twice so I assumed it was a billing error. When I call Ring to check on what I thought was a billing error they informed me it was because my renewal of $108.62 would not include professional monitor services any more and in order to keep the professional monitor systems I would have to pay for an additional plan that would be an additional $108.62 on top of the original $108.62 ($199.99 total) which is why they charged me $108.62 twice. I said I never agreed or signed up for the additional service but was told the only way to keep the professional monitor service was to pay the $199.99. I asked what is the point of paying only the $108.62 if it wouldn't be monitored. She repeated herself and kept telling me I had to pay the $199.99. So I explained that I didn't believe it was fair to double my cost for the exact same service I am currently receiving. So I told them I wouldn't be paying the new cost as I feel like that was unfair. So I canceled my service. I only received a partial refund even though I was charged on 7/19/25 and canceled on 7/21/25. I am very upset that a company would treat a long standing customer this way.

    I was alerted that there may have been a hack on May 28th involving my ring cameras, when I checked on authorized users I found that an iPhone 14, iPhone 13, Safari Mozilla, another Safari account. All shown to have access to my security cameras for the exterior and interior. This express very high concerns of privacy of my children and family. I already changed password and deleted everything of access to those devices.

    My husband and I have had a RING doorbell account for many years. When he died in March I tried to get the account put into my name. They were not willing to do so and I no longer have access to his old email. The cameras continued to work until I upgraded my cellphone. I have made a dozen calls and numerous chats, but they refuse to help me even though I provided a copy of his death certificate and proof that I am his executor. They are rude and show no compassion.

    My Ring cameras/ account was compromised. Ring was aware of such and failed to warn customers. I found out via Tik Tok through my daughter. When I looked up my account, as you will see from the upload, there were over 14 devices that access my account. THEY SHOULD HAVE NOTIFIED US!!!

    It us not true what they are saying. This is hackers!!! They failed to warn customers for us to ********************** our household. There were over 14 phones, internet browsers watching my camera. We were being watched, dangerous and scary. People are to be made aware, starting on May 28, 2025. There, they will find those compromised phones. I will file a police report.

    I'm very concerned to learn there have been several unauthorized unknown accounts given access to our Ring Camera account without my knowledge or authorization. This is a huge security and privacy risk and violation to myself, my family, and my neighbors. Ring customer service claims not to know about a recent or current security breach, but instead states those unknown and unauthorized devices have been mistakenly placed into my account as a bug but not an actual data breach. It is the belief and concern of many that they are misleading their customers and owners of their products and not adequately protecting our data as promised. Given they are unable to provide a safe and secure product, connection, and use of data as they claim, I would like not only a full refund for the product and any subscription costs, but for Ring to address and publicly acknowledge ant and all potential data breaches. Additionally, compensate all parties who have had data carelessly and inexplicably compromised at under the responsibility of Ring and/or ****** and/or affiliated businesses and/or companies. This is a matter of breach of data and security of Ring and Ring users accounts, safety and privacy concerns of users, Ring's violation of contracts, and poor business practices. Ring and/or ****** and/or affiliated businesses and/or companies need to be held fully accountable.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Your explanation that this issue is merely the result of a backend update leading to information displaying inaccurately in ************** is both misleading and evasive. This is not a cosmetic error. Multiple unknown users, from several different devices, were granted access to my Ring account, without my knowledge or permission. That is a clear breach of security and privacy.

    Rings refusal to acknowledge this as a serious data compromise raises deep concerns about the integrity of your platform. The fact that youre not taking responsibility or even admitting that unauthorized access occurred undermines customer trust and suggests a lack of transparency and accountability within this business. 

    Many people I've talked to (neighbors, friends, family, & countles Ring-users online)  have been similarly effected with no believable explanation (other than Ring's probable data breach) share my concerns and are rightfully rejecting the lukewarm narrative that Ring is not compromised or that theres no cause for alarm. Whether due to negligence, a system failure, or perhaps even deliberate design, your platform allowed unauthorized access to my private data. Minimizing this incident as a glitch in the display system is unacceptable and dismisses the very real risk to customer safety and security.

    Until Ring provides a full and honest explanation of what occurred, including how unauthorized users were granted access, how long this was happening, who and what has our breached audio and video data accessed, and what steps are being taken to prevent it from recurring, I do NOT accept Ring's response.

    I was hacked on 5/28/2025 and Im hearing that a lot if not all users were hacked also. I checked to see who was logged in and found 3 devices that all logged in at 6:57 am. I tried posting this info on the ring app for users to be aware, but it got taken down. I have not received a notification, email, etc from Ring advising of this hack or letting us know to remove the unknown devices.

    came across a video on TikTok of a ring user showing examples of multiple different logins under their account. After following the instructions to review my ring system under control settings, authorize users, and authorize devices. I came across multiple different devices that became authorized on my account on May ******* around 8:56 AM. Ring is telling me that they were not able to access my account, but I never got any notificationsof anyone trying to login or for me to authorize another device. All these devices somehow became authorized on my Ring account ********************** told me that were just aware of the situation and to give them 12 to 24 hours to give a response. There are over 5000 comments on this video online of this happening to people.

    I have a ring doorbell camera and was recently made aware of a data breach that resulted in 3rd parties being able to login to my account and view my cameras live feed. On May 28, 2025 there were four unknown logins to my account, three from safari and one from an iphone. I was never informed of this incident and was only just able to remove these devices from my account.

    Hello,On May 28th, it looks like Ring experienced mass hacks. There's social media posts floating around about it. I checked my authorized devices on my ********************** app and also noticed numerous devices not belonging to me accessing my Ring account on May 28th. I just removed all of these devices, but nevertheless the damage was done.
