    Name: *** **** Account: ********************** Phone: ************ Having a yearly subscription with ************************** since 2021, and all devices under the account will have a lifetime warranty as long as we keep the subscription. Paid $229.97 to their partner installation service provider ****** for 3 spotlight cameras on 08/26/2021. Ontech order #****** One spotlight camera was not functional recently and needed a replacement. ************************** sent a replacement and delivered it on 07/29/2025. But the spotlight was installed on the 2nd floor of the exterior wall of my house; it is not possible to reinstall without professional installation skills. To take the old one off and reinstall a new one, I need to pay another $159.99 to get it done by OnTech, but ************************** rejected my reimbursement request, and they requested I to send the old one back to ******* need a solution to get the job done. Either have ************************** install the device for me or reimburse the fee I paid.

    On 7/5/2025, my doorbell just stopped working. Would not connect to wifi. I contacted Ring and they said they would send me a Chime Pro to see if that fixes the issue. Got the Chime Pro on 7/8 and set it up. Made no difference, still would not connect. They then processed the replacement order plcf87d-b448. I have contacted them on 7/15 as to why it hasnt shipped yet and was told there is a back order and to wait until 7/22 for the shipment details. 7/22 came around, same answer, wait until 7/29. Today is 7/29 and still nothing. Contacted them and they gave me the same excuse. At this point, I should be given a wired doorbell pro since you cannot replace the wired doorbell plus.

    We had a ring professional monitoring plan since 2019. We moved within the same neighborhood and moved our old ring system. However, the ring customer service refused to transfer the plan instead required us to cancel that plan and open a new one at the new raid which was substantially more than the old raid try to talk to a manager and they basically refused to talk to us. We will not be doing professional monitoring with ring

    In need of a replacement part a obd power supply that seems to be proprietary to Ring I'm willing to purchase replace with other brand this is not a option it seems .I have a Car dash cam but can not power it up Also paying a subscription service for working product only need of the obd power adapter

    Ring is failing to honor the warrenty in a timely fashion and have failed to staind by their products. 1. Lied and said there was no inventory to replace defective product while they are still selling them on the ring website and amazon with next day shipping.2. Did not inform me that there was over a months wait until i called 9 days later after ring had gone silent on honoring their warrenty. 3. Deliberately make filing ******** claims difficult and have no available supervisors for assistance.

    My Ring Security Cameras and Doorbell were on my Partners account, who then was arrested due to Domestic Violence. I called RING 3 times to get the 3 Security Cameras and Ring Doorbell transferred me, but they could not do that. They said they would send me replacements that I would have to rewire, and after 1.5 weeks I still have not received the devices and not secured. I have a Protection order but RING as yet to set me up with a SECURITY cameras and system.They clearly do not care about a person's safety.I want reimbursed to purchase a new security system.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  

    I did receive the replacement DoorBell and Cameras.  However, I cannot get them installed by an Electrician until Friday.  I do appreciate the product being expedited.  I would advise, next time, the product should be shipped the next day and not waiting until customer (me) had to call and find out where the product was.  I would still not recommend Ring to friends due to this inconvenience and the fact that I own the product, I own the house where product is installed, and yet I cannot have the product transferred to my account.  Security is not Ring's priority.

    Subject: Unauthorized Charges and Request to Reinstate Agreed Monitoring Plan Dear *********** am writing to file a formal complaint against Ring LLC (a subsidiary of ******) for unauthorized billing and poor customer service.I originally subscribed to Rings basic monitoring service at the agreed annual rate of $99 per year. Recently, I discovered that Ring charged my checking account twice for $99, totaling $198, without my knowledge or consent.When I contacted Ring customer service to resolve the issue, the representative I spoke with had a very heavy accent and was difficult to understand. She informed me that the service had changed, but could not explain why I was not notified or why I was billed twice. I was also told that refunds could take up to 10 days which I find unacceptable, especially considering the charges were withdrawn immediately and without my authorization.I am requesting the following:A full refund of the duplicate $99 charge (totaling $198),To maintain our previous agreement of $99 per year for monitoring only,A guarantee that Ring will never charge more than the agreed amount without my explicit authorization, and Written notice via email prior to any future billing changes or increases, and in advance of the yearly billing due ******* is critical that companies like Ring maintain transparency, especially when it comes to recurring charges. I value the service but cannot continue if billing practices are not clearly communicated and respected.I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to a resolution.     Today I tried to use the neighborhood app to post an alert to all the neighbors about 2 individuals who were acting erratic and causing issues in our condo community. We have posted signs saying no soliciting and no trespassing as it is a private community that you can only walk through. The two individuals were clearly homeless. I posted a very factual and non duragatory notice. I received an email citing it wa abusive. Again i did it in the safety group on the neighborhood app same thing. I contacted customer service and talked to ***** who provided no help except pushing me to a commmunity gidelines which were very general. I asked him to help me get the message out what I was doing wrong and he provided no help even when I told him my next step was to come here because the app was not doing what it was supposed to. he asked if he could do anything else then hung up. I rewrote the post to say that there were two people who were acting erratic bothering the children at the school bus stop and tresspassing in our community asking for money which has posted no tresspassing signs and no soliciting signs. I said the woman has a blanket wrapped around her with socks but no shoes and posted of picture of the guy. Again it was denied. I do not understand the purpose of the neighborhood app and want resolution to this. I have been a user of ********************** products for over 9 years but if this ecosystem has now come to this its worthless. Anyone can make a security system its not hard.

    TRANSACTION: Purchased Ring Stick Up Cam from ************************** in 2024. DEFECT: Device developed defective charging socket and won't charge, creating security vulnerability at property. WARRANTY REQUEST: Filed warranty replacement request on July 12th, 2025. Ring initially promised replacement but now claims stock shortage requiring 1-month delay despite critical security urgency. POLICY VIOLATION: Ring's warranty policy explicitly allows equivalent replacement when original model unavailable, but company refuses to honor this policy. FAILED ESCALATIONS: Multiple executive escalation attempts to ******************************** *************************************** ******************************************** and ***************************************** received no responses. RESOLUTION SOUGHT: Immediate authorization for equivalent replacement camera (any current model) as permitted by Ring's own warranty policy to address critical security vulnerability at property.

    I purchased a new ring camera because my old one wasn't charging when I received the new one it was damaged and did not work properly there's a crack in the lens I called ************************** and went through there little steps to prove the camera was not working and they sent me a new one but this one didn't look new It looked maybe lightly used I hooked it up and there was a crack on the lens did not work properly I called reading to let him know and they got very rude with me did not want to send me another one until I demanded to speak to a manager and even then they were not wanted to do it but finally gave and I looked online and other people are experiencing the same thing they pay for a new one it doesn't work then they're getting sent refurbished ones which is not right you pay for a new product you get a new product not refurbished passed off as new. This is pretty much my complaint kind of feel like I'm getting ripped off it's going to be the third camera they attempted to send me what the second camera being a refurbished one are you serious you pay for something new that's what you should be getting
