    I signed up for then Survey Junkie to earn extra money doing their online surveys. I earned 10+ dollars in November2024. I went to sign out and asked that my funds be sent to my VERIFIED email address via a virtual **** card. The site then said I have to pass a ID verification test through a third party provider. My ID had expired and i am handicapped and can't get to the *** to renew it. I explained to the customer support team. They wrote back for me to do the verification again and notify them when I completed it. I was unable to verify again but there site would not allow it. I contacted customer support and they said to try it again after 24hrs. This still didn't work. I contacted customer support and now they said they permanently suspended my account for unauthorized activity.I am reporting this company as a SCAM preying on ********** people trying to earn extra money to put food on the table. They scam you on taking survey's which they get paid for and won't pay out what they owe to their customers.I have done *********************** with other companies who never asked to verify your identity with no issues because they verify your email address. This ID verification is just a way for the company to block you and not pay what they owe.

    Survey Junkie is a safe and secure website, trusted by millions of members who take surveys and redeem on a daily basis. That being said, the panelist's account has been permanently suspended due to unauthorized use of the Survey Junkie Services, which is a violation of the Survey Junkie Terms and Conditions, specifically they failed to pass Photo ID Verification, which is a one time verification tool for our panelists. Survey Junkie reserves the right to rescind a panel membership and refuse to provide the Services at any time for any fraudulent activities. That being said, even though members are deemed ineligible from redeeming points for any violation of the Survey Junkie Terms and Conditions, as an exception, we have allowed the member to redeem all of their final rewards.

    I have been completing surveys for Survey Junkie. I completed enough surveys for $10.04. When I tried to redeem, the site stated I needed to verify my identity. I had already done this before, and they said it was a one-time only requirement. I sent in my identify verification (driver's license and a selfie). Shortly after, ********************** said my account was disabled because of fraud. I emailed them, asking what evidence they had. They responded that the account is permanently disabled because of fraud and that they would not provide any more information. In a recent email inquiry from me (on an unrelated issue), the agent commented how much Survey Junkie enjoyed my being a member and completing surveys. First, I would like my $10.04 for the work completed for the surveys. I would also like the account reinstated. Also, I would like it to be known publicly how they treat people, so others may not fall victim to their scams. I have completed surveys with them for some time without any such accusations. I did file a complaint some time ago with the BBB when Survey Junkie closed my account one time before. That was resolved when they reopened the account when I verified my identity. On that instance, Survey Junkie also attempted to hold the money I earned through completing surveys.

    In order to improve the security of Survey Junkie and its members, we are introducing a new process of verification which is Photo ID verification, which will be a one time verification tool for our panelists. As a quality and verification measurement tool -this might be required at any point of the membership, in order to additionally:
    a) verify the account ( regardless of previous verification statuses)
    b) to exclude the chance of the account being compromised
    c) monitor the quality of provided information (honest and accurate information about themselves and all survey questions to the best of their ability)
    This method is used extensively in the market research industry for security and quality purposes. Again, we would like to emphasize that this is a one time verification check that members will not have to repeat over the lifetime of their account. That being said, the member has since verified their account and they should now be able to continue taking surveys and redeeming their points

    I have been a member of the Survey Junkie site since 2023 and have been honest and compliant with the site Terms and Conditions during the entire time. On October 11, 2024 I was informed that my account had been suspended due to fraudulent activity. However, after many inquiries no one at the organization was able to provide me with any actual examples or evidence of these fraudulent activities. Because there is no evidence that I violated the site's Terms and Conditions, I have requested multiple times that my legitimately earned points (2935, which is the equivalent of $29.35) be released to me as usual but have only received copy-and-paste responses that do not address my concerns. I have tried for over a week to resolve this with the Survey Junkie organization only to be ignored, and therefore feel it is time to file a complaint over this unethical behavior. I have provided screenshots of one of the emails admitting that they either do not have or refuse to provide information about my suspension as well as a screenshot of the earnings currently owed to me.

    As already explained, the member's account has been permanently suspended due to the unauthorized use of Survey Junkie Services, which is a violation of the Survey Junkie Terms and Conditions.  This decision is based on receiving 10+ independent reports from different survey providers, indicating that their responses were contradictory or inconsistent across multiple surveys. These actions violate Survey Junkie's Terms of Service, which require all members to provide honest and accurate responses.

    That being said, even though members are deemed ineligible from redeeming points for any violation of the Survey Junkie Terms and Conditions, as an exception, we are allowing them to redeem all of their final rewards.

    Thus, they can now press the REDEEM NOW button and redeem their points.

    I completed MULTIPLE SURVEYS for over a year. I cashed in for a **** card (it was virtual) and the card continues to be declined EVERYWHERE. This was a waste of my time and neither **** or SURVEY JUNKIE will contact me so I am out $150.00. I advise anyone to use extreme caution. From my experience... SURVEY JUNKIE is BOGUS

    Survey Junkies is a survey site that pays you for taking surveys. It used to have lots of available surveys with decent points, and I could routinely cash out small sums of money to help with the bills. Now, almost every time I click on a survey with decent points, I get a disqualifying message saying, "Oops, we're seeing double. You've already completed this survey." Which makes no sense: why would they offer surveys I've already taken? I can literally avoid taking surveys for days, come back, and still get this message. I've brought it to the attention of support, but I either get ignored, or I'm given some canned response and brushed off.What happened today was so unacceptable I couldn't believe it, and I've never heard anything like it from any other survey sites. I actually got into a survey for 75 for around 12 minutes (I don't recall exact minutes). I came to the end of the survey after completing it to the best of my ability, just to be disqualified. Now any other survey sites would call that Late Disqualification and give me full points for fulfilling my part of the bargain. I even had a screenshot to prove I finished it. When I complained to Survey Junkie, they just sent me this long drawn out canned response saying: "I'm sorry for the inconvenience you have experienced. Upon checking survey #*****-24100684 for the 75 points you referred to with the survey provider, we regret to inform you that you were disqualified due to the answers you provided at the very end of the survey." But here's 25I'm sorry, what?!? Doesn't filling out a survey to the best of your ability all the way to the end mean you earned the offered points??? Isn't that the whole point of taking them??? They're saying that our time isn't valuable, and their clients can disqualify us all the way to the end of the surveys for ANY reason, take advantage of us, and not have to pay us!!! To me, this is unacceptable, and I can't justify wasting my valuable time on their site.

    This is the EXACT canned response they keep giving me in emails. It only lectures, it does NOT specifically address us survey takers being disqualified at the end of the surveys and being taken advantage of, nor other issues I've mentioned. Other survey sites reimburse us for late disqualifications because they understand that it's unfair. I do not understand why Survey Junkie is different. I HAVE made money on this site, but over the last few months it's been almost impossible! And now with this late disqualification issue, I just don't go on their site as much. Things need to change.

    The response back to me from you was, it was a duplicate complaint. It is not. Its a new complaint. And it said it had obscene language in it. It did not. But survey told me that third parties are responsible for point awards. On 10-07-24 I did two complete surveys that would have totaled 170 points. Instead, I received 0 points. Since the surveys went through Survey Junkie, they should honor the points and tell their third parties to stop cheating survey takers and award points. I will submit proof of the surveys I took.

    I recently began doing online surveys through Survey Junkie. 1. About 50% of the surveys I completed were not paid at all. I reached the final page after many pages of answering questions and then was told by Survey Junkie that I would not be paid. 2. When I tried to redeem my cash reward I was told I needed to be verified. I complied with the cumbersome verification process and submitted my Government ID online. Then I was told that my ID could not be used and I could not redeem payment.3. At the very least, I would like payment for surveys that I completed.

    I am rejecting this response because:  Survey Junkie has sent me a large number of surveys which I completed but got no credit for completing.  I notified them of one especially egregious example and they said they were working on these issues.  I think they are simply trying to avoid paying people.  With all the scams and fraud facing seniors these days many would not submit their government issued ID online to a survey company.  I referred someone recently and he has had the same type of unfair and abusive treatment.  he finally reached his very first payout level and he was told he now needs to verify himself before he can collect his earned reward.  Why don't they ask for verification BEFORE having people complete scores of surveys so that a person could decide whether or not they wanted to complete any of these surveys which pay such a tiny amount.  Had I been asked to verify up front, I would not have done a single survey.  That would have been fair and honest.  It is shameful how they treat people at this business.

    Survey Junkie knowingly hosts survey companies that provide glitchy, unreliable surveys that do not pay out upon survey completion. This isn't about disqualification. Fully completed surveys. I have reported and screenshot multiple surveys to SJ, only to be told it's the survey provider's problem and there's nothing that they can do. They stopped compensated me for lost points. 100 pts equals $1.00. Being permently disabled, this is all I can do to earn just a pittance. How does this company even get high ratings?

This is also highlighted by the fact that the member has already redeemed over $262 since joining Survey Junkie. Please note that though it can be disappointing, getting terminated from surveys is a common occurrence and a part of survey taking throughout the survey industry. It is possible that during the survey, as the survey providers were gathering information, they determined the member was not the kind of participant they were looking for, so they terminated the survey. This can happen at any point in a survey, regardless of how much is completed. Please note that Survey Junkie has no say in members getting disqualified or terminated from a survey and it is up to the sole discretion of the survey providers. With that being said, we want to reiterate that we value the efforts of our members and we are committed to working with third-party survey providers to constantly improve the survey-taking experience for members.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

    I'd add that they say they are "constantly working with their partners" to ensure a better survey taking experience, but that partnership certainly isn't delivering. I never doubted that the site wasn't legit. Just careless.
