1 starI cancelled within their 30-day money back guarantee, they then twisted it and told me that does not apply to the 14-day free trial, when signing up it says NOTHING about no refunds with a free trial. Not only that but Beachbody charged me for a subscription I did not sign up for I signed up for 6-months and they charged me for a year. I tried over and over to dispute it with them for a refund (I even had pictures proving!). I was also locked out of my account for 2 weeks. Now their emails get kicked back. They are straight scamming people. Guess we will see if my bank can do anything.Beachbody, LLC

1 starAll these complaints are from the same issue: Beach body charging customers after they cancelled their subscriptions. We cancelled our subscription last year and were charged yesterday for a subscription renewal. The ONLY way we found out is after reviewing our credit card transactions. They stated that they sent out a renewal notice 30 days prior. A legitimate business would put a subject line that very clearly states subscription renewal - reminder, right?Apparently not BODI by Beachbody! They havent improved their lingo as such and kept it super spammy sounding by placing your next year of results with BODI and making the email go straight into your spam. Check your subscriptions thoroughly under your account because they sneakily have multiple subscriptions signed up for you; if you cancel one, its not enough and theyll snipe one more year out of you. How else will MLMs stay in business??We filed a dispute with the company and after a very thorough review of 20 minutes they denied our request. Why? Because after constant spam from this MLM every single day, they slipped in another spammy sounding email. Even better? They rebutted saying we opened the email without us even opening it! We even have proof! Interesting sidebar too is that they dont even send a confirmation code with your purchase to your email! You would think that they would send something legitimate! Spam for breakfast lunch and dinner with these people.I am sorry to say that their decision is final and no rebuttal with their thorough review is allowed. Such a shame. I guess I need to send them emails daily, as they do to us, of how I do not want my subscription auto renewed and want ALL of my membership(s?) to be cancelled.Read every review here, its literally all the same thing. 1 starAs others have said, this renewal was without notification. I cant even send an email to them and it bounces back. This company is not customer friendly, there is NO notification that a renewal is happening. I had even removed my **** from my account last year to prevent this from happened after I canceled in 2023. I cancelled 2 days after the charges, when I noticed it on my **** in 2024, and cannot contact anyone regarding a refund as the emails provided bounce back immediately. I do not understand how they can charge a **** that has been removed from my account, with no email to confirm that 1. The renewal was happening, 2. That it had happened at all. 1 starBeachbody is not a customer friendly business. Any reputable company will ALWAYS have a money back guarantee within a reasonable time period. I've been with them for twenty years and I have found out that that was twenty years too many. I have always received emails from them to renew my membership except for this year. This tells me that they are hurting for money and hopefully with all these negative reviews, we can help them lose more. They have a way to show you that they supposedly sent an email but like everyone else, I didn't receive one either and once they charge your credit card, it's too late; No refunds no matter what. But I do have access to their site for another full year. I will NEVER log onto their site and I have deleted their app.Beachbody, LLC

1 starBEWARE to anyone who gets wrapped up with this company. Beachbody/BODi does not care about its customers, regardless of how many years you may have been a member. Beachbody/****** biggest concern is how much money they can make off each and every one of you - their favorite way is burying contingencies in their T&Cs so the average person cannot spot exactly what they are signing up for. They will charge your card annually without notification for services that will go up substantially from what was paid the previous year if you don't cancel beforehand. Do not waste your breath trying to call or email customer service to dispute charges - they will talk over you and tell you are wrong, you signed up for this, and there are no refunds or supervisors to talk to in their overseas call center. Beachbody/****** shady business practices paired with horrible customer service speak volumes for their character and integrity as a company. Save yourself the money and the stress and stay FAR away from Beachbody/BODi.Review fromQian W

1 starVery bad cancelation policy. I used 3 months and called to cancel. They told me only within 30 days that one can cancel. Of course I missed reading the fine print. Any other similar gym would honor to refund the unused months. But Beachbody would not. It is very unfair to consumers. I don't recommend this APP to anyone.Beachbody, LLC

1 starI share the same sentiments as others regarding the cancellation ****** cancelation policy. There policy make no sense, nor is it fair to the consumer. Without going into detail because it's pretty much the same as all the other comments ****** practices, in my opinion are unethical. The only way to dispute a claim is to submit via a link that is sent, and then to submit the request you have to check a box that states you understand that "all decisions are final and non-negotiable. After the decision is made, there is no additional recourse or means of escalating this matter." Basically saying for lack of a better term "screw you". I will never, or encourage anyone to sign up with ****. Basically I was robbed of $191.00. I see they comment the same on everyone's post that an email reminder was sent, well if one was sent I did not receive it. Most memberships that I have send multiple emails up until the time of the withdrawal. **** needs to look into their policies and make it right!Beachbody, LLC

1 starI logged into my bank account and noticed a processing payment for Beachbodys. I was never informed of a renewal, no email, no notification at all. I called customer service and they refused to refund me. How is this okay? Times are super tough right now for people and its difficult just to feed our families. But, Beachbody wants to offer something to improve someones lives and cannot refund someone their money that was taken blindly considering there was no advisement of it being time to renew. This company is basically stealing from people with their terrible cancellation policies and I hope that this prevents at least one person from making the mistake of signing on with such a terrible company.Beachbody, LLC

1 starI never was advised that my account was renewing, no email, no notification at all. When I contacted customer service, they refused to refund the charge. I then contacted the corporate office which also refused to refund the charge. I contacted them the same day that the charge went through which in my experience, most companies will offer a refund if its immediately after the charge was placed.
