    Beach Body is an absolute fraudulent organization. Seven years ago I signed up and one year after completing my agreed upon contract I requested that products and services stop. It is 2024 and I am still fighting to stop these charges. I have reported to my cc, I have called, emailed Beach Body, I reached out to the trainer who signed me up ( no longer worked for them! ) Today, I checked my credit card as I do weekly, and BAM there is the charge for ****** that was not authorized by me again! Any attorney who want to help file a class action lawsuit?

    I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Beachbody and the recent experience I had regarding my membership and charges. I was charged $179 for an auto-renewal of my Beachbody membership, which I was unaware of and unable to cancel despite my efforts. This experience has left me deeply disappointed with both the company and its customer service.Several months ago, I cancelled my subscription for the shake replenishment, which I mistakenly thought was tied to any auto-renewal for my membership. It turns out these are separate memberships, a fact that was not clearly communicated on the website and only added to the confusion. I have not used this Beachbody membership AT ALL since I cancelled the shake replenishment more than 7 months ago thinking that they were the same thing. Upon noticing the charge of $179 on my credit card, I immediately went into my Beachbody account to cancel the membership (that was still active unbeknownst to me). I requested the cancellation the SAME DAY the charge was made. I then contacted customer service to discuss the misunderstanding and request the charge reversal. To my surprise, I was met with refusal and was informed that no refund would be issued b/c I did not cancel BEFORE the charge was processed. This situation is frustrating, as most companies issue refunds for early-caught auto-renewals. It's surprising and disappointing when a company doesn't follow this common practice.As a family committed to responsible spending, it is deeply unfair to be charged for a full year's membership when the error is caught within the first few days (in our case HOURS!). This practice is especially insensitive to your current and future customers. I urge ********************** to reconsider this policy, as it reflects poorly on their business practices.

    Beachbody renewed my membership after I cancelled it - for the second year. They charged a credit card that was removed from the account, but they somehow still kept it stored. It was a card that expired in 2021, and they charged it in June of 2024. When I called customer service, they said I had to cancel within 30 days of the order - the original order of membership with renewal from 8 years ago!!! Horrible customer service. When I asked how to remove my card from the account, the only was was to fill out an online form. THEY WON'T LET ME DELETE MY OWN CARD!! This company is a total scam and only cares about making money. I wish I could leave zero starts.

    Please note, a customer's credit card information (account number and/or expiration date) may be updated in BODi's records if their bank participates in a credit card verification program. Banks that participate in these programs work with companies with whom their clients do business, such as BODi, to inform those companies when there is a change to the client's credit card information. For example, if a credit card's number has changed, or the card is about to expire, the bank may notify BODi of the updated number or expiration date. If a customer's credit card is set to expire, **** may also update the expiration date on the credit card so they can continue to offer the same level of service.

    Horrible customer service and incredibly hard to cancel service. I thought I had paid for a 2 year subscription, but after 1 year I lost access to my account and every time I called or tried to access/change password, email, etc I was told I didn't have an account any longer and would I like to sign back up? So I said no, and moved on with my life until today when I was charged with a bull c*** auto renewal for 2 more years and suddenly they can find my account and they can "only provide a refund within 30 days of the original purchase price". They didn't even send an email notifying me of the impending renewal/charge.

    After cancelling my auto renewal membership within 24 hours of the cut off, my credit card was charged and when I asked for an exception given that I hadnt used the app in 8 months since my surgery, they refused to refund my $250. I cant believe that a company as big as BODI (formally known as Beach Body) has absolutely no compassion for their customers or the fact that life sometimes happens. Would not recommend them to anyone. Terrible customer service.

    Do not do business with this company, or ANY company that wont refund you for services unused. They are plain and simple stealing from people when they do this. And they know what theyre doing. You cant talk to anybody who can explain why they wont refund you for a cancelled subscription. They dont notify you of auto renewals ever. Theyre just a bad business trying to take people for what theyre worth.

    Do not do business with BODi!It's embarrassing that the Better Business Bureau still gives an accreditation to BODi Beachbody. In the past month, my wife has had the exact same issue as all the complaints below: auto-renewed on her cancelled subscription, no auto-renew email notification, no refund offered, and no access to services. This is borderline illegal and we're currently working through a chargeback with ***** Better Business Bureau - I urge you to remove your association with BODi Beachbody.

    Their automatic renewal email notification is titled in a way to deceive the recipient to think its a general marketing email. Its titled as Your next year of results with ****. If it has to do with charging a fee, it needs to be clear that the membership is auto renewing. Something as clear as Your membership will renew in 30 days. Even when you open the email and read the first few lines it continues to appear as a marketing email. Its not until you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the email, practically in the fine print, that you see the details of what youre going to be charged and when. Then when you go to their website, its VERY difficult to figure out how to contact them. And once I did get a hold of someone, he advised me to send in a policy dispute form. Which I did, only to receive a it looks like you reached an email that is no longer accepting incoming messages. So I had to call again and was just asked to submit the form again and see if it works. I get a response back later telling me that they tracked when I opened my email. Thats not the issue, I didnt say I didnt receive the email. My issue is in the way they hide the fact that theyre going to charge you by masking the notification as a marketing ploy.They are deceptive and have an unethical practice. Extremely unsatisfied with the way they handle their business. I used to love using their workout videos/programs. Its unfortunate to find out that they have to scam people into making more money.
