1 starHorrible cancellation policies. They send a marketing email about new services with fine print at the bottom saying your subscription is going to renew. Didnt realize I had been charged until my credit card statement came and by then they wouldnt reverse the charge.Beachbody, LLC

1 starWell, I thought I was special but I see now that so many others are in my same situation. This company is terrible. I know I cancelled my auto renewal for membership along with the monthly subscriptions. They charged me for another year (just like all the other people) and refuse to refund me $179. They are deliberately misleading on their website. The government needs to crack down on them. Worst company ever.Beachbody, LLC

1 starJust like other reviews. I was charged a renewal fee of $119 for a six month membership. I had not noticed that the cost had increased from $59 when I first signed up, so I didn't want to pay such a steep price and decided to cancel, only to find out that they do not give you any refund. You are forced to either stay with the plan for those six months or loose your money. That is not how business works in this day and age. Very disappointed. 1 starDo not trust Beachbody! I bought a 6 month membership and when that 6 month ended i did not receive an email that i was going to be billed for another 6 months and instead was charged for the next 6 months at a higher rate than when i initially joined! I am furious to say the least and will never recommend beachbody to anybody. When I tried to dispute with my ******************* Beachbody wouldn't honor the refund as it had already charged. Very unprofessional and sneaky to not give a heads up for another charge and then not honor a cancelation.Beachbody, LLC

1 starPoor customer service. I cancelled ********************** in August 2023 apparently I only canceled 2 or 3 items and they charged me again in April 2024 for a renewed membership. I called the day it hit my account to cancel and state I did not receive an email to renew. **************** rep could not help me and I had to file a dispute. Not even a day later automated dispute said it was not valid and would not refund me the money $179. You can not escalate to a higher manager. They said it is now cancelled however wont refund the money and is good till 3/25. Poor refund policy and customer service. I would highly encourage others not to joinBeachbody, LLC

1 starI will echo what the other reviewers have said. I have had a BB membership which auto-renewed on March 11th for $194. I noticed it on my CC statement and immediately cancelled, although I would have sworn I removed payment method LAST year. I did not get an email renewal notification (i checked inbox, spam and trash) I tried to get to customer service for a refund, but it is very difficult to navigate the site prompting me to reach out to my coach, who is also my friend. When I finally was successful in calling in their telephone customer support on March 29th they were less than helpful. They emailed me a dispute form which I returned on March 29th. By the way, you can only submit the form if you check a box saying "I understand that all decisions are final and non-negotiable" which I wrote an objection to. If you don't check the box, you cannot submit the form. In the response they stated that they emailed me a renewal on 02/08/24, which I do not have (inbox/spam and trash were checked). What I do have from them is over 40 promo emails from Feb and March so I find it suspect that the one critical email cannot be found---especially as other reviewers have noted the same. I also find it suspect that I cancelled on 03/18, but my cancellation was only confirmed 03/30 (well AFTER I cancelled, but only after I submitted my dispute and they responded). I also recieved an email to restart my membership the same day. Apparently my account will still be active until 03/2025, which I no longer need or want. The company needs to consider the good will of it's consumers when creating refund practices that essentially steal from people who no longer want their services. I am so disappointed in Beachbody, and will spread the word to others about their deceptive business practices.Beachbody, LLC

As I assumed that I canceled my account with them 2 years ago, but come to find out it was just the preferred membership that I canceled, but not the yearly subscription??? I received a $193.77 charge to my bank account and was very confused, as I havent used Beach body in years. As I spoke with customer service, they said that they dont have the ability to override the system, and that theres nothing they can do. What an absolute scam! In this economy, I need my hard-earned dollars to pay for necessities. Instead, I was tricked with crafty language and fine print into continuing to pay yearly memberships for something Ill never use and havent used. I feel stolen from, manipulated, and tricked. This company will never succeed if they keep treating customers so poorly and dishonestly. I will definitely report the charge as fraud on my bank account.Beachbody, LLC

1 starPredatory Auto-renewal system with no options for refunds when digital product is not used nor wanted. Poor practice for a business to have to trap users into payments in order to make a profit. One email regarding the auto renewal was sent 33 days before the charge, which was listed at the very end of a very long marketing email boasting features with a subject line not in relation to upcoming billing charges, but was in relation to the weekly updates sent out...weekly.. They acknowledge this one email (which i assumed was a marketing email and not billing related) and also acknowledge that they didn't send a confirmation email regarding the payment or order details, thus trying to secretly take the money. 1 starAs per the other reviews here. I called to cancel my membership in March 10th, which was the date it was up. It had already charged my credit card and they told me I would still have to pay for the whole upcoming year even though I havent used one day of it. They said they sent an email. However, I never received it. I changed my email in their system 2 years ago but conveniently those type of email still go to the old one even though I get the **** emails to the one I changed it to weekly. When I spoke to them they wouldnt even let me speak with a supervisor. Clearly they are losing money and have stooped to this type of plan to try to stay afloat. 1 starIt's obvious that everyone is having the same issue with this company and their reviews are horrible! Buyers beware!! They tell you to contact them and have a contact us page but it doesn't even work. There is no way to contact them! I even tried to call them and left my phone number for a call back and guess what....no one called back!! It's impossible to reach them. They continue to charge your card for a service you are trying to cancel but you can't cancel because you can't get ahold of anyone!! I had a membership for $99/year. I tried to cancel it after the first year and couldn't reach them or get a call back. They charged me $179 for the next year. As everyone else has stated, I also did not receive any notification of a renewal or my card being charged again. I have submitted requests for callback from them multiple times with ZERO response. I would not give this company your credit card information. They will continue to charge you and you have no way to reach them to get it cancelled. Not safe!
