1 starBeware of this company. They refuse to work with customers when there is a problem. They do not care about their customers and when they make a decision on an issue you have with your account they leave you with no recourse to keep you as a customer. There are many other companies that offer memberships (even free memberships) that will provide you fitness routines on line.I encourage everyone to look into these other options before entering into an agreement with BeachBody or BoDI.Beachbody, LLC

Hello ********,
Upon reviewing your account, we have confirmed that on February 17, 2024, you signed up for a 14-day free trial to BODi. During the purchase flow, you opted into an auto renew and agreed to the Terms and Conditions. Like all memberships that auto-renew, you will continue to receive access and be billed regardless of usage until you take the action to cancel.
Because your subscription was not cancelled, it auto renewed per the Terms and Conditions that you opted in to at enrollment.
Unfortunately, you did not contact us prior to the charge to opt out of the subscription, therefore your subscription renewed per the Terms and Conditions.
Your subscription renewed on March 3, 2024, and you cancelled on the same day.
You will continue to have access until March 3, 2025.
Our Money Back Guarantee FAQ explains:
Memberships that started with a free trial are not eligible for our 30-Day Money Back Guarantee. To avoid being charged, cancel within the free trial period.
During the cancellation flow when selecting the Remove Access Immediately option, it mentions excluding free trials.

1 starIn 2023 they double charged me bc somehow I had an Apple subscription. And a direct subscription. When I received the email, I sent a request asking to refund the extra charge- they were both for the same login. It happened again in 2024, and got that refund but checked and never got the 2023 refund. I was told would have to submit dispute, which I did with my email and proof of other charge. They immediately declined the dispute saying I was outside of the money back guarantee, BUT I ALREADY PAID FOR MY MEMBERSHIP ONCE. This company is an MLM scam. I wish the trainers would go out on their own.Review fromkira k

1 starTerrible company. I have been with Beachbody on Demand for a few years and loved it. This year they upped the price and charged my card without sending me a notice first. I contacted customer services and was told I could put in for a claim. I did and of course, they denied my claim. Instead, they canceled my account which is fine but did not refund the money when I had asked them to do so since I was not aware the charge was going to be taken from my account. They said in my claim that they sent a pre-bill email to me on 1/28/24 before they charged me. I did not receive anything. I messaged them to ask them to send me a copy of the email and time stamp of the prebill email in the chat said they were not able to do that. The lack of customer service is outstanding and the fact that this company is still in business with terrible reviews both here and at Trustpilot and everywhere else you can write a review for this awful company. I would think owners of this company would have a vested interest in making sure the customer service is top-notch and to read the reviews instead of sending the same candid message back in response to everyone. Very sad, what a disgrace of a company, and with 1.2 out of 5 stars..when is the class action going to start? Please don't respond back with a candid message that I am sure has been told by their agents to send to all bad reviews. We don't care, we want a refund not to be told that we received a notice of a renewal when one was obviously never sent to anyone. Own up to the mistake if it was a technical error and refund the full or at least partial amount to save face.Review fromJanis H

1 starI cancelled my membership with Beach Body about 4 months ago. On 2/26/24, I noticed they took $179.00 out of my account.I called ********************** today and was told that is a membership fee for BODI on demand. According to Beach Body they sent emails 35 days prior to taking out the money. I never received an email from them concerning this matter.I spoke to my bank and filed a fraud charge. If need be, all of us on this page should start a class action lawsuit against this company. After reading all the reviews, I see that I am not the only one this has happed to. This is obviously a scam and they should be ashamed of that. They are nothing but thieves.....I request my money back ASAP......Beachbody, LLC

1 starPurchased the $99 plan on February 21st, 2021 during Covid when we all were stuck at home. I never once used the subscription. I cancelled my plan on February 18th, 2022 with *****. I never looked back until Today February 21st, ****. I went on my bank account to see if my tax check was in my account. The first charge on my account was for ********************** for $179! I called the company and they stated I never cancelled my account. They claim they send emails 35 days prior to charges being taken out. *** NEVER ONCE RECEIVED AN EMAIL EVER FROM THIS COMPANY! I requested an email to confirm my cancellation and refused to get off the phone until I received it. It took 25 mins to finally receive the email. THEY FRAUDULENTLY HAVE TAKEN MONEY OUT OF MY BSNK ACCOUNT FOR FOUR YEARS NOW! I NEVER ONCE USED ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS OR EXERCISE PROGRAMS AND MY ACCOUNT PROVES THIS! THEY HAVE STOLEN ALMOST $700 OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT. Im a single mother making less then $17,000.00 a year. My credit card even expired and they somehow got the new date without my knowledge. Im contacting my bank and an attorney tomorrow. SHAME ON YOU BEACH BODY!Beachbody, LLC

Hello ******,
We have thoroughly reviewed your complaint, account details and customer service contacts.
Upon reviewing your account, we have confirmed that on February 21,2021, you purchased an annual Beachbody On Demand membership. When you placed the order, you checked the box to accept the Terms and Conditions. Within those terms you agreed to automatic renewals, which required you to cancel the membership to prevent future charges and eliminate access.
Your annual Beachbody On Demand membership continued to renew due to no prior cancellation requests received. We were unable to locate any calls, chats, sms texts requesting a cancellation prior to the renewal date. Our records show that the BODi upgrade email notification was sent to your email address on file on January 17, 2024. At the time you had the ability to manage your membership prior to the renewal date.
Note: Your payment method being cancelled, or expiring does not constitute as a request to cancel your membership. Many banks participate in a credit card verification program where they provide companies that you subscribe to with updated account information to ensure there is no disruption to your membership.
Your annual BODi membership renewed February 21, 2024. The annual BODi membership was cancelled on February 21, 2024. A refund was processed on February 21, 2024. No further charges will be processed.

1 starLike many others mentioned below they charged an annual membership without any notice of upcoming auto-renewal. I canceled the next day, and even though the cancellation documents indicated there was a 30-day money-back guarantee, I was told by a customer service rep that doesn't apply to existing customers. Not to mention the renewal amount is almost $100 more than what I paid last year. If someone is canceling an online subscription within 24 hours, they should be able to receive a refund. Terrible experience.Beachbody, LLC

1 starThey do not send email reminders after a YEAR that they are going to randomly take $200 out of your account. I haven't used it this service hardly at all so I would expect an email reminder. They say 'refund will be posted in 3-5 business day.' Come to find out, that's only for NEW customers. So they punish their old customers. IT IS A SCAM. Don't do it!Beachbody, LLC

1 starI paid for a 90 day trial, didn't like it after the first week. I did not track the date of when the auto-renewal started because as with most "legitimate" subscriptions, I receive an email reminder notifying me that the charge will be posted on my card within a few days. Not with this company! Received a $99 charge this morning, called to try to cancel it as I don't use the service and sorry, that isn't our policy. But don't worry, you can still use it for an entire quarter? This policy is very rare and if I had any idea, I would have never even created an account to begin with. There is no email to escalate my issue, so I am forced to create a negative review here. I have basically just flushed $100 down the toilet. Terrible policy, I would NEVER recommend a company with such a poor business practice to anyone.Beachbody, LLC

1 starThis company is the absolute worst company you can ever imagine dealing with. I bought a membership years ago, I canceled that membership and have not looked back. I have gotten ******$ taken out of my account for the last three years, I have emailed the company, I have shown all my proof that I do not have and had not had a membership/ account with them and gotten my money back. I was promised last year that this wouldnt happen again. However I get a notification on my online banking and it says they have taken yet again another ****** from a mother of two, who has already proved that she does not have any ties with the business, I can access my old account and literally prove right now I have no active subscriptions etc so why am I still being billed? I have every single email from last year when I spoke with a representative. I HIGHLY suggest do NOT work with this company unless you dont care about your money disappearing out of your account whenever they want. In order for my bank to dispute it I have to get a whole new card, I am money of two I do not have time to wait 7plus days to get a new card. I am beyond frustrated with this company and I am beyond ready to **** I have so much proof of theft!Beachbody, LLC
