    The worst cellular service I have ever had. Also the worst customer service. I started service with ****************** and quickly realized that the coverage was horrible. I cancelled service after 4 days and requested a refund. I was told it would take **** business days. I called in **** times to check on the status and every time a customer service agent gave me a different story. Finally, after waiting 15 days someone told me that the refund was denied because I transferred my number before the refund went through. A total scam company. Do not use Mint Mobile.

    Unethical. Overpaid them for a one year unlimited phone plan 1 month before my existing plan with them was due to expire. Then a few days prior to the renewal, rather than go with an unlimited plan, I decided to go with a 10 MB plan for a year, leaving me a credit balance with them of approximately $120. A few months later, I transferred my service to another carrier and they refuse to provide me credit for the overpayment. Note that I know I lost the money I paid for the 1 year plan that I didn't use. My complaint is that they won't refund my overpayment to them. They also won't provide statements for the actual charges and never issue receipts -- it's all available on-line only and then once you cancel service, none of the information is available and they refuse to provide statements.

    Service is very spotty across *****. They make it very difficult to find your account number because they know the only reason you need it is to take your phone number to a different carrier. Then if your service lapses during the transfer period, which they are going to take the full 2 business days they say it will take to transfer your number, they say they can't transfer the number because it is an inactive account.

    Too bad no zero stars! Had Mint for about 1 week. I also bought a new phone from them, which they activated. For half of that week I had about 15 calls dropped after a few minutes into my conversations. Several were dropped while I was on hold with unemployment. I'm sure some of you know what a nightmare it can be trying to get a live person on that line! Anyway, i called Mint on several occasions to try to get the issue remedied but to no avail. The last call was to their tech department. After no callback from Mint, which I was assured I would get, I called again. I was told that I would probably get a call in 48 or 72 hours! 2 or 3 days with no fix for my phone! Today, I switched to another provider. I had to call Mint to get my account number and pin. I told the rep that I wanted a full refund for the service (or lack of), and I would return the phone for a full refund. She told me that I had used the service so I wouldn't be refunded money for that or the phone! I said "I didn't get to use the service half of the time!" She replied "well, I'm sorry but we can't refund any of your money." FIND ANY PROVIDER OTHER THAN MINT!!! What a terrible experience! They are the absolute worst!

    Wish I could give a zero. The tech support did NOT help and I did not get my texts working. Luckily, I had a Visible SIM card and just swapped it out. Up and running with no issues within about 15 minutes. I suggest getting an additional card from a competitor so you can switch at a moment's notice. Seems like (once any company has you) it takes forever to get tech support, but you can port to another carrier within minutes.I hate that I have to go around the block to get to the house next door, but if it keeps me moving, that is ultimately what I need.

    Ordered on 11/02/22. Never received the sim card or the 3 month plan. Called on 11/14. 11/22, and 12/26. All 3 calls was told the card is being sent ASAP. There was always an excuse for the error and even stated they would give me the 3 months and the seasonal free extra 3 months. They definitely took my $52.97 tho'. 2 Months without cell service, hours on the phone with them. Promises made by them - got nothing. Gave up and went with another company. No refund, no service. This is not the way to do business. Makes me sick seeing their tv ads. I am very content with my new service. *** came in 2 days, 24/7 assistance if needed. Would never even consider a free year of service from this company. If I did not have to choose a star rating, their would be zero stars.

    My phone number was never transfer from my previous carrier. They assigned me a new number. My daughter phone has no service since coming to mint. My daughter has to use my phone since she cannot receive texts or any calls.

    MM is trash. 5/3/23 Ordered 3 mon plan & SIM ($99.45) 5/11/2 Couldn't install/transfer to MM. I reached out MM CS,after 3 hours, was told to buy new phone. Bought ******** ************* 5G ($260.99 from MM) 5/15/23 Inserted SIM card that came with the new phone into new phone (Stylus), couldn't proceed, reached out to MM CS (3 hours) was told my # was locked by old phone provider. Was told to 3 way w/ MM & old provider. I now have 2 phones, old (Power) new (Stylus), due to issue w/ phone # locked into old provider we were using old (Power) info, then transfer all info to Stylus. 5/16/23 at 1:30P called MM CS hotline and # transfer was success. I attempted a call w/ Stylus and all calls went to MM CS. Tried the app to set up Stylus, couldn't sign in/reset password as it needed to verify via text. Reached out to MM CS. Said I couldn't use the app. They asked Why are you trying to use the app? (because Im paying for it AH) They asked To reset the password told them i can't get texts, they ignored that, focused on activating my SIM, I gave them the **** for Stylus , they said **** was wrong, I explained AGAIN that there were 2 phones. They did not understand. CS was going reissue a SIM in 3-5 days (no phone 3-5 days!). They locked on my account for 4 hours. I asked for supervisor. Told it would be noted in account. 4 hours later (8:20PM) I tell them to review notes in account. They said they need 5 phone numbers made in 90 days with my number w/ MM, I MADE IT VERY CLEAR I MADE ZERO PHONE CALLS SINCE 1:30PM WHEN MM SWITCHED MY NUMBER. They locked my account again. I asked to speak to a supervisor they refused. After 10P now, CS told me to log into account to order new SIM! I have no working phone for verification text, they said use email, I sent a picture of the screen (no email option) they transferred the issue Tech to email password in 1-2 days! Fix this now.

    Bait and switch pricing and possibly illegal as none of the digital ( and print ) marketing material sent disclaimed extra hidden fees and taxes were to be charged at checkout. They also took money from my wallet and applied it to future service when I was talking to customer care after a refund before my plan expires. Unethical service and business practices.

    Whatever you do, DO NOT PURCHASE A PHONE from Mint Mobile. Our new phone came in a box that had been opened and some co tents were missing. Trying to get customer service to actually send ** the information to exchange the phone was **** near impossible. We've spent several hours on the phone talking to people that treat ** like we're thw scammer when they in fact sent out an opened product. We spent $40 to return the phone. They never notified ** that they didn't have the same phone in stocks anymore so we wasted time waiting for a phone not coming. Then we had to call customer service again and spend 45 minutes to be told there was nothing they could do and they would not compensate ** for any of the bs they put ** through. So now we have a Mint Mobile plan we are paying for and no phone. Worst business practices and customer service ever!
