    On 12/16/2023 day & nite tech who originally had installed the garage door opener came to diagnose the garage door opener malfunctioning and not opening the garage door. Even thought the error code said logic board is bad, and *** had already removed the logic board to be replaced by them, the technician disagreed, rewired the sensors and indicated the problem is fixed and charged me $213 for diagnostics and the time he spent to put the defective logic board back in place. Ten days later the garage door stopped working again with the same error code. Called the day & nite again to look at the garage door. They said I need to replace the garage door opener for $1050. I called the manufacturer, they confirmed that the problem is the logic board, which is under warranty and they will send a replacement. I called day & nite and asked for partial reimbursement since they misdiagnosed the issue. ********** said they will not provide anymore services nor will pay any refund for the original call. They said I refused to pay for their second trip, which is absolutely false: the technicians who came the second time never asked for any payments! They just looked at the code and said if I want I can pay 1050$ to replace it with a new garage door opener. And I just told them I will let them know when Im back from my emergency trip to another state. Again, even though it doesnt seem logical, still they never asked me to pay anything the second time. So, what they mentioned about refusing to pay for their second trip is absolutely false! Basically, they came twice to diagnose the same issue, their both diagnoses were wrong, they never fixed the problem. Moreover, they were just trying to mislead me and charge me another $1050. And they not only refused to refund my $213 that I paid for their wrong diagnosis and fixation, they accused me of refusing to pay something that I was never asked for paying, neither I know how much was the amount or why I should pay that.
