  Moving help is a lack luster opportunity that states they are partnered with you as a contractor, but truth is they treat all contractors like employees and terminate access to there site at will which in ********** is a violation of labor code I am surprised a lawsuit against the and the manager has not been filed, coming soon. There communication as a company is disastrous and lacking, the take 15% from every job, and thats from every provider but reality for that money there is no support system, no team to assess every situation, all they want to do is get paid as we the providers work hard to support our families, while getting robbed, for 15% of every job I have been on here for over 10 years and they try to find anything wrong so they can terminate or place your account on advertising hold. The manager of moving help is *******, she has no communication with you and truthfully I dont necessarily agree with how its ran. There should be an investigation into these unfair and diluted business practices, they fly under the Uhaul flag but clearly a real trash business motto, if there is one at all.

  Moving Help advertises themselves as a company that assists with people who move your things in and out of U-Haul trucks. What they don't tell you is that they will provide no help in the event that something goes wrong. In my case, a provider listed on their website defrauded two local contractors leaving them without payment. They provided no assistance in resolving this matter and left it on me to fix things. It is clear to me that little to no vetting of the providers takes place. I would highly recommend that people use alternate services as there is no way of knowing whether the providers listed on their service are legitimate.

  I was a service provider that got terminated because I ran out of gas on my way to a customer house and asked the customer to help me get some gas after being stranded in the middle of nowhere for hours. This is a trashy service.

  Guess I really should have read other reviews prior to signing up for this service. My experience was no different than what everyone else echoes below. Moving Help is an intermediary "service" but does not take the responsibility when anything goes wrong between customer and ******************** provider. (What a business model!) I had movers help me unload my UHaul, having paid for 4 hours of service, not really understanding how the payment process works. The unethical moving help provider (Cascadia Moving Company LLC) contacted me BEFORE my move was done, knowing it would not take the full 4 hours, to rudely and aggressively demand my payment code. They then processed this payment, prior to the termination of my move, which only took half the time. I have since attempted to enlist the help of Moving Help (joke of a moniker), to which they direct me to contact the provider himself. The provider - ************************* - in his rage of getting a poor online review - has started stalking me online, sending threatening texts to my phone, threatening my business. Moving Help has turned a blind eye, because - why care about the customer?? They do not. I agree that it is a total fraud of a company, useless in all ways. I will NEVER be using this company again and will be contacting U-Haul corporate about my experience.

  Horrible. I called to resolve why my movers were not paid the additional hour they deserved and why I could not approve. ******* (***) was as rude as anyone Ive ever spoken with, and because he could not resolve the problem of my hoped for payment to movers, told me he would report me as argumentative and that I did not want to pay my superior moving teama complete lie, as wanting to pay them an additional hour was the whole point of my call.This UHaul so-called serviceis scamming the hard working help of great movers, IMO, and unlawfully profiting from their hard work.

  They Did drugs while moving and advertised it in there truck Crazy Rythm and 420 Damaged furniture and walks Did not finish job Body jammed the doors to the pod to close it with furniture in it The yelled and fought while moving One got blood on carpet from injury One employee said he had to check himself into jail because he got DWI and had been out of prison for a year on a felony charge I was told by U-Haul 5 stare company Locally they got 21 one star ratings UHaul and MovingHelp said I should get attorney when they recommended them Homeward Bound Never called me before or after partial move so I was stuck with half my furniture to move in 24 hours I HAVE TWO WITNESSES TO ALL OF THIS MY NEIGHBORS

  Had two companies cancel on me. Despite have the reservation set up 3 weeks in advance. The first company I was referred to canceled 3 days prior to my actual move date. The second company didn't even have transportation to get to us the day of moving despite that being a requirement of vendors. You will be better off finding your own movers instead of using this website

  Terrible company and terrible service. They provide a service to get contractors to assist with your moves with U-HAUL. They provide no updates and if something goes wrong, you are not contacted to resolve anything. I used this service because the costs of moving my box was $200 but with the movinghelp service, it was 220 including movers. So, it was a no-brainer to just pay 20 to get help moving the stuff from the box into the home.WRONG. First of all, i received a confirmation for the order but no information that the payment went through, so it was never actually "confirmed". No update or anything. I sat happy with the idea of getting additional help with my move. When I didn't hear anything, I called the day of the move and to my surprise, the box isnt coming. When I asked about getting it today, I was hit with it would be 450 to have your box arrive. Are you joking? Advice to everyone, DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Get the box and hire contractors outside of this terrible company. Do not let Movinghelp organize it for you. You will be disappointed and not have your things when you expected to have them. Take the safe route and have UHAUL deliver the box at least. Hire your own movers after.

  I booked movers through moving help via UHAUL in October 2022. After leaving the movers a mediocre rating, the movers texted us a series of very serious threats, including violence and abduction. I notified Moving Help of this incident with text message receipts and they informed me they would not do anything because "Moving Help is a neutral venue". I think if a vendor is breaking the law Moving Help should not remain neutral and allow more customers to be at risk.

  I purchased the highest amount in Safeload Coverage per Movinghelp's website advertisement below. I had several pieces of damaged furniture due to how the movers packed my truck. They laid a metal bed frame on top of my furniture, which caused unrepairable damage to my NEW dining table, coffee table, headboard, and footboard. Although I purchased the insurance, my claim was denied before I ever submitted my pictures and receipts. The response from repwest.com:"I am reaching out to advise our investigation regarding your Moving Help claim has concluded, and unfortunately, your claim has been denied as Safeload Coverage does have an exclusion that does not cover loss or damage resulting from improper packing or cargo shifting."This is the advertising on their website:Despite the best plan, protection, and care, mistakes do happen, and moving is no different. There's a potential for something to get damaged during any move, no matter how careful your movers are. This is why you might consider purchasing moving insurance. **************** is a great tool to have during moving day. Customers have the option to purchase our Moving Help coverage called Safeload. This option protects a customer's belongings when a Service Provider is loading or unloading their items.I am pretty disgusted with the entire process. I secured my furniture with bubble wrap and saran wrap and was told by P&J Moving Experts it would be packed in the truck with blankets. The furniture damage was caused by the movers setting a metal bed frame on top of my furniture and then loading more items on top of that. No blankets, nothing! The bed frame ripped through the bubble wrap and saran wrap. Because of this, the damage was caused by the way the truck was loaded and NOT improper packing.I am trying to escalate the claim, but nothing has happened.
