    Echoing all of the other one star reviews- I reserved UBoxes and moving help through Uhaul/MovingHelp.com For both pick up and drop off, the movers were 3-4 hours late which greatly impacted the flow of both days of our move. During move in, several items were damaged. A broken ceiling fan was reported to me- likely because I was there when it happened, but no other damages were reported and had to be discovered on my own. There is no record of my move on MovingHelp.com for me to dispute. I have attempted to contact MovingHelp.com as well as my mover directly- who originally agreed to pay for the ceiling fan, but I have received no response from either parties. Aside from the actual service being poor, the lack of communication to resolve any issues it was has earned them a 1 star review. I would prefer to resolve the issue directly, but with no response I do not have any other options but to dispute the charges with my bank.

    Same experience stars would be at zero if it were allowed. Lost thousands of dollars in this horrific move. Reached out to both the service provider and ***** and got no help with either one. DO NOT USE this service and UHaul should be ashamed of themselves for being associated with this debacle.

    I hired movers from Moving Help which are powered by U-Haul. They sent thieves. I hired them to move my stuff on January 4th and they stole my security box with ccs and other important information. They also stole a Jewerly box with over ****************************************** their black Escalade car. I opened a police report and a claim with MovingHelp with them.

    The mover and ******************************* cheated hundreds of dollars off me. Gave the transaction code after 2 hours of moving labor, and they charged me additional hours (after the code was given). Neither my bank provides refunds, nor does ******************************* or u-haul offer any assistance or refund. This is plain robbery in my experience.

    Scammers and UHaul is too. I booked a move me through this website. They were over 3 hours late and damaged thousands of dollars of furniture and items. The was not helpful in helping to pay for that merchandise. Also they dont require that the movers they contract with be insured. I intend to seek legal action and to sue the CEO personally.

    The Moving Help Terms & Conditions do state that we do not guarantee that the independent Service Providers carry insurance and do not make inquiries about the whether the helpers are licensed or insured. They also state that Moving Help is a neutral Marketplace and any dispute over the service including damages would need to be resolved directly between the customer and the responsible Service Provider. Despite the customer authorizing the release of their payment to the Service Provider Moving Help has issued a full refund to this customer as a one-time courtesy, but has advised any additional compensation would need to be pursued from the helpers responsible for the damages.

    On 2024-10-03 I booked moving help for 2024-10-12. Today 2024-10-08 I received a Uhaul cancellation notice. However, the reservation remained active in Uhauls system. I was unable to cancel because no reason was available. I then had to request customer support through chat. Very strange experience. Why not automate the cancellation and refund? It is 2024. Not 1994. Systems should be integrated.

    We apologize for any confusion. The notice that was sent to the customer was that the Service Provider they had selected was no longer active on our Marketplace and so instructions were provided to cancel and either receive a full refund or book a different set of helpers. Customer's orders are not automatically cancelled because it is up to the customer about how they wish to proceed. If a helper is unable to complete the job most customers do decide to cancel and use the funds to book other help rather than receive a refund and wait the 3-7 business days for it to post so we do not automatically cancel and refund the order in case that is how the customer would want to move forward. This order has since been cancelled and refunded.

    Absolutely terrible experience and customer service. Do not book through this site as they dont hold their contractors accountable!We rented a U-Haul and arranged for two movers to help us move storage units. The movers never showed and we attempted to call, email, and text multiple times over 1.5 hours.We finally gave up and left. We cancelled for a refund and when we got home we called movinghelp.com to inform them of the issue. They essentially told us the moving co has good reviews but theyll put a note in their file. We were not able to leave a review because we dont use the company. The company is able to stay on the site with good reviews because the people they no show for cant leave a review! It was a terrible experience and we will not be working with them again

    We apologize for the situation with the Service Provider. Per the Terms & Conditions that are agreed to when the order is placed Moving Help is a neutral Marketplace and has no control over or liability for the independent Service Providers. Each of the helpers is their own independent company solely responsible for their own actions and customer service. For orders that are cancelled feedback is collected at the time the cancellation is processed about the experience with the Service Provider and why that cancellation occurred.

    Do NOT use go through these guys to help you move! I experienced the most stressful & expensive move ever! That's saying a lot, coming from a gal that's moved over 40 times! First, I was charged 3 times!!! Then, the 2 guys showed up in flip flops and black hoodies on a 90 degree day! They stood around waiting time trying to figure out what they were doing. I felt like I was babysitting them! Two hours into it, a man shows up. I assumed he was their boss. Not so! Turned out to be another moving company! I only ordered one crew! The 2nd crew looked like they knew what they were doing. They stayed. I let the others go. 9 hrs later (900 sq ft one level home) they got the heavy things to my new place. I spent 3 days after that moving my other things but myself. I was charged around $1740!!! I could of hired the a reputable, local company. I thought they were too expensive. Instead I spent $800 more going with moving help. I can't get a hold of anyone! Two of my couches are ruined. They set one it's side on the dirty truck floor. Staining, snagging & buckling it. My other couch was ripped when they set it upside down! This was done by the 1st movers, "Put in Work". The second company, "White Moving Co" knew what they were doing. They were appalled when they saw what the previous company did They said I need to speak to someone at Moving Help to resolve this mess! I've been on hold for 90 min now. I'm out several hundred dollars and have ruined pieces of furniture. I need them to respond and make things right! What a terrible experience!

    The customer did place three orders for ****************** labor services: two duplicate orders with a helper called White Moving ** and one with a helper called PUT IN WORK SERVICES. Moving Help has cancelled the duplicate order with White Moving ** and issued a full refund for that duplicate service, however for the other job with that helper as well as the one with PUT IN WORK SERVICES the customer did give the helpers their respective Payment **des authorizing the release of the collected payments to them. Since the customer did authorize the release of those payments to the Service Providers, Moving Help is no longer in possession of those funds and would not be able to provide a refund for those two service fees. Per the Terms & **nditions any disputes over the service would need to be resolved directly with the responsible Service Provider so the customer would need to seek any potential refund or compensation for damages from the helpers responsible. The customer has been provided all of the business information for PUT IN WORK SERVICES as well as instructions on how to open a case with those helpers and leave them a review.

    Hello, a mover listed on MovingHelp.com (macho movers, led by ************************* based in ******** Ga) stole from us. Once they received the money for the move they left and did do anything besides loading some furniture. We have a police report. We contacted MovingHelp.com to get them removed from the site to prevent other families from the financial damage we went through. They have not done that yet. They do not care about protecting their customers.

    The Service Provider that was reported has been removed from the Moving Help Marketplace however the order with the Service Provider was not booked through Moving Help or U-Haul but instead directly with the independent Service Provider so unfortunately we have no record of the service and would not be able to assist with any resolution with the helpers. We would recommend pursuing the movers directly and if necessary pursue legal action for compensation regarding any damages.

    There is no way to accurately determine the amount of time you will need the movers when you book them but if you over book there is no refund. The mover I used (Move on the Go) dragged my sleep number bed bases through the mud, broke my treadmill, dropped and broke my dishes, commented on my weight/age and made strong sexual advances. The company owner spent a lot of time trying to chat it up with me though he was being paid by the hour. My move ended up costing me $600 more than expected. I had to go to the bank 2 times to get him cash.I contacted Uhaul and they said they couldn't help me and that I should call the police. I tried to put a report in to Movinghelp.com but my work order, copied directly from the 'past moves', 'moving help' section of Uhaul was deemed invalid. I can't seem to get to them to make a claim. I will never use moving help from uhaul again and highly recommend anyone thinking about using them to reread my review and think about having this kind of experience on an already stressful day.
