I called ************** on October 21, 2022. I asked if movers could bring my Ubox to me over the weekend and unload it for me. I said that I could do Saturday, but preferred Sunday. I expressed concern that Sunday might not work if movers had that day off. I was reassured that they would be able to come on Sunday. The woman on the phone then scheduled Devine Movers through MovingHelp.com for Sunday and told me they'd call to confirm their arrival time. Earlier this morning (day of delivery) I had not heard from the movers and so I called **************. The woman (I think her name was ******?) told me I had to call them myself and find out why they hadn't showed up. I called and got no answer and called ****** at Uhaul back. ****** then BLAMED ME and said that I was the one who chose them so it was my fault. I told her I did not choose them, someone in her office did. I had no idea they were contracting out to MovingHelp.com. ****** then said she could not refund my money and could not find replacement movers. Later when I asked, she said she could hire replacement movers, at the cost of $1,000 additional from me. Which is more than triple what I paid for movers today. I asked to speak to ******'s manager, because she referenced talking to her today and she said I probably could not talk to her manager today and may not hear back from anyone until Tuesday. So not only did they not reschedule new movers, wouldn't refund my money-- I was also double charged for it. I have one completed charge for $313 and one pending charge for $313. Today I e-mailed MovingHelp.com to ask for new movers or some kind of assistance and they responded that someone already helped me so they were closing my complaint. No one helped me. This is also after ***** admitted to breaking the box and damaging my items. They said they can't remedy that issue until I see the box, but they won't help deliver it. I was charged $1500 for delivery of my damaged items to ********.Business Response

We were able to get the customer ******** with ****************** order OR-9a0d99ad on 10/23 and she was issued a refund of $313.95 for the Provider that did not show. I booked a move through this website on 10/1/2022 based on the reviews of the mover. The moving company was the worst I had experienced where they literally threw drawers and a vase in the truck (and hid the results so we would pay them), harassed me for a tip afterward and then threatened me when I posted a negative review where we felt physically unsafe in our house. I had to hire another competent moving company at the cost of $400 to repack everything. Otherwise my furniture would've been destroyed had the truck been moved. Movinghelp.com did nothing to help us, taking no responsibility and refusing to claw back the payment to this company, even being nonchalant when I told them about the harassment and threats from the moving company.Business Response

10/10 I was referred to movinghelp.com by **Haul. Their site said they were *************** Their customer service agent say they are not. After contracting for services with one of their providers I was ghosted and my money was gone. When I called customer support they told me first that they were the only ones I could talk to, second they wanted me to file a complaint, which I did, and third its not their problem theyre only a market place. I am out $375 plus the extra days rental on the **Haul truck. This company is taking no responsibility for what happened. They are recommending this song as vendors. I am 70 years old living on a fixed income and trying to recover from a hurricane that did more damage than you can believe. They provided movers who didnt move as much as a lamp yet they have been paid for the move as well as their vendor, all hands moving from the land. The contacts I listed as emergency contacts were each sent copies of my collection notices. These were addressed to them and it was obvious done in a manner to cause embarrassment, humiliation, and harm to me. It also included other personal information regarding my account. The company acted as a debt collector and failed to remain with in the legal limitations set forth by the Fair Debt Collections Act. The manager was not truthful with regards to the notices which he sent as well. He claimed I was notified prior to my emergency contacts, however, the notices that were sent to myself, and my contacts were written, sent and delivered on the same dates and were signed by the manager himself. On top of this, they were all sent in the date he claimed the account became past due. So, clearly contacting me was not the goal.Additionally, the manager continued to escalate the situation by refusing to give me information to help me speak with his direct supervisor, tacked on punitive additional payments that I do not believe were even disclosed in the initial agreement AND THEN began contacting me at 1:00am! I have no problem paying the bill, you owe what you owe, but these business practices are unethical and ****** a legal right rope. Not to mention, its TERRIBLE customer service! I asked that they *********************** all contacts because they were fraudulently gaining information so they could infringe upon my rights and protections under the law. But, the manager flat out refused and tried to limit my ability to seek help further.Business Response

Hired movers from u haul website mover help.com is the sister company of u haul. Who actual acts as a market place for movers. Their advertising states experienced insured licensed help. No not the case hired 3 movers for 2 hours . 1 mover late one hour 2nd mover was a schizophrenic and he was heavily medicated per the3 rd mover Who was his brother just helping ..so paid for 3 got 1 1/2. They sent a mentally Ill person to my home ?? Dented my frig door 5 inch dent Torn legs off 2 buffets. Broken antique mirror and large test in sofa arm!! I personally did 60 % of work unloading Had to keep rental truck xtra day as they did not complete the job . Want the code to call in ..the total in damages are well over ******* I have receipts snd estimates for repairs . And no one will take responsibility not uhaul or mover help.com I told its just advertising , market place for movers But I paid up from snd moverhelp.com Collected all funds per bank ! And state that they are not responsible a market place only !! If so why do they advertise on their website want to be a mover with us ?? Fill out below And advertise no background checks And dont check they are credible movers . So in a nut shell I paid up front *** services not rendered and damaged furniture. Plus they sent a mentally ill man (schizophrenic) to my home .. where my family lives .. what if no one returns calls or emails trying to contact actual moving company nothing but a phone number which they dont reply . On 9/30 I scheduled a UHaul truck reservation and moving help for 10/1 in **** **. I was required to pay in advance for the movers $145. The morning of 10/1 the movers cancelled saying they could not come. I was driving to ** already to move my stuff into storage. I changed the reservation to 10/2 and arranged for more movers paying $155 because I was told the pending charge of 145 would not complete. Well the charge for **************************** my account and the 155 is still pending. I tried to call movers help during their business hours and after holding for 20 minutes listening to a looping message NO ONE ever answered the line.Business Response

Worst experience with them and uhaul in general. I cancelled the order for the moving help due to movers and uhaul not wanting to set a specific time. Did so in a timely matter. Requested credit and have not received a credit for moving help I didn't use. Nothing pending in my acccount. I would like my money back for services that I did not use.Business Response

I hired moving help through Movinghelp.com. A part of their process for receiving a portion of the payment back, requires a customer to write a review. My floor was damaged when the movers unloaded my truck. The movers attempted to receive payment before the job was completed. The movers also appeared to search through my stuff, as they unloaded my truck. I included this information in my Movinghelp review. Movinghelp allowed the mover to read my review. Afterwards, the mover called and texted me, threatening me. He stated that he knows my address and he will see me around. I filled a complaint with Movinghelp, but theyre lagging on making this situation right. I am not sure of how to proceedBusiness Response

Monday, June 27, 2022 - 9:08 AM (******************) I paid for 3 hours, with 2 hour minimum. to arrive ****. Movers arrived ****, 2 hours late, by the time they arrived the trucks and trailers were already half unloaded. The movers only worked 1 hour 45 minutes to help complete the job. I paid for 2 helpers for 2 hour minimum with optional 1 hour. I was charged for 3 hours $385. I would like to be refunded the $125.00 for the 3rd hour since job was already completed.Business Response

This customer has been in contact with the Service Provider through the ***************** on our site and the helpers are claiming that they worked for 2 hours and 45 minutes, not 1 hour and 45 minutes. The customer did give their Payment Code to the helpers authorizing the release of the 3-hour payment to them. Moving Help is a neutral Marketplace and per the Terms & Conditions [https://www.movinghelp.com/customersupport/ ] any disputes that the customer has over the service would need to be resolved directly with the responsible Service Providers. Our Terms & Conditions also state that once the customer has provided the Payment Code to the helpers authorizing the release of the 3-hour payment to them, they agree that they are not entitled to a refund from Moving Help if the service was completed in less time than what was included in the request.termsandconditions Initial Complaint

On August 14 2022, I booked movinghelp with moving help.com. They charged me $200. Just a couple of hours later, my exwife told me that the furniture that I was going to go pick up later in the week with the help of movinghelp.com was no longer available since she sold it. So I immediately cancelled my order with movinghelp.com. Same day I ordered it, I cancelled it. I should qualify for a full refund per their refund policy as stated online. Several days later, I inquired with my bank who stated that a refund had not been initiated so I contacted movinghelp.com who stated that they had indeed issued the refund. Its now been six days and my bank states that still no refund has been initiated I just want my money back.Business Response
