1 starBUYER BEWARE. Refunds for events will not be provided for severe weather unless roads are officially closed, making it physically impossible to reach an event. Severe weather such as a winter storm where authorities are citing "dangerous driving conditions" and making comments like "do not drive unless you have to" are not sufficient to provide a refund.Protecht Inc

1 starI would give no stars but had to leave at least one.. ************ is a scam! Do not reserve any hotel room with their name or terms.. they DO NOT PROVIDE REFUNDS and charge half room rates as fees. My company would not pay their fees so came out of my pocket for reserving room and not seeing this. SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!Protecht Inc

1 starWe have always purchased FanShield insurance when we purchase tickets, as I suffer from debilitating 6-8 day long migraines with aura, & NEVER know when I will be getting one. These migraines are so horrific, that I am forced to lay perfectly still in bed, in the dark, with cold rags to help with the excruciating pain for the entire duration. For the record, I am currently under the care of a neurologist for these migraines. Unfortunately, being the honest & trusting people we are, we actually believed FanShield was a reputable company & if I did get a migraine the same time as a concert, we would be reimbursed. Big mistake, as the very first time we filed a claim, we learned the hard way about their scam.We had tickets to a concert on 12/29/23. On 12/22/23 I got a migraine that was SO horrific that I needed to be rushed to the ******************** on 12/23/23 for treatment. This migraine continued through to 12/30/23.On 12/29/23, my husband filed our claim with FanShield. He submitted chart notes from my 12/14/23 neurologist appointment that documented the CURRENT treatments I was under. He also sent the chart notes from the ******************** describing what treatments they tried. But much to our shock & disappointment, that was not enough for FanShield to issue a reimbursement.Nope, even though I definitely had a serious illness that I was literally & currently being treated for, FanShield stated that the only way they would have reimbursed us was if I was advised in writing by a physician not to attend the event. Omgosh, for anyone that isnt familiar with migraines with aura, my symptoms include flashes of light, blind spots, nausea, pain, vomiting, dizziness, brain fog, incredible sensitivity to any kind of sound! How could I have possibly gotten to a physicians office "to be advised not to attend a concert" in the condition I was in.In closing, never ever purchase FanShield, I believe they have a way out of paying anyone.Protecht Inc

1 starBased on my personal experience, this "insurance" provider does not honor ANY of their committed refund policies. After numerous communications, of which, my first claim went unanswered with no response or decision until I followed up with them a couple of weeks later, it turns out that NO AMOUNT of documentation that is downloaded, given or provided to them at "FanShield" will result in a refund. I purchased tickets for the ******************** with the "Insurance" for September 2023, which I had to do a date exchange because of a serious storm, Hurricane ***, affecting the ** ** Tri-State area. The exchange date was for the following weekend - the 1st weekend of October 2023 - which unfortunately had another bad rainstorm causing flooded roads again in the area caused by Tropical Storm Philippe. Regardless of all the documents, social media news sites and reports, state Governor Executive Orders and the like provided to the "insurance FanShield" aka Protecht Inc, the company continues to state that insufficient evidence has been provided to support my refund claim. I can only hope to warn others against paying for an "Insurance" provider that does not and will not honor your claims, no matter how legitimate they are. "Fanshield/Protecht" are not insurance providers...they are scammers. Please, beware.Protecht Inc

1 starI buy 3 tickets to a concert in October 22 in *****, unfortunately I cant attend the concert because I dont drive and my husband was taking me to the concert but he cant go because work. I send all the things that they say me but in the last time they say they dont refund me the $700 dollars that I pay when already send a work page and signed with the owner of company saying why my husband cant have that day in work they just refuse me to refund me when I never use the tickets and I do the request so much time before the event , I really feel so dissapointed about his company ! Its a waste of time and money please dont trust in this company they just take my $700 dollars and now Im struggling losing that amount for nothing !Protecht Inc

They wanted me to have a sick, suffering parent contact their doctor to get a note to approve my cancellation for an upcoming work event. 1 starThis insurance is essentially a scam!! We filed a claim for a weather related refund due to fog, freezing rain, closed roads, and 6 inches of documented snowfall in the 24 hours prior which made it unsafe for my 73 year old mother to travel to 2.5 hours across the state to the event. The claim was denied for not providing enough documentation even though we provided snow totals from the national weather service, pictures from DOT travel cameras, and DOT reports of closed roads. They needed a local or national declaration of weather emergency and request to not travel in order to honor the weather related claim.Protecht Inc

1 starI purchased a "Fanshield" insurance policy for tickets I purchased for "********* **********". Since emailing back and forth 3 times, the company also called ********************* Company,Inc.", has denied my claim 3 times for a refund, due to severe weather conditions. I had to send proof twice that the weather was "severe". Then, because the park officially closed due to the extreme bad weather conditions, I was denied a refund as well. They said "I could go another time, since the ticket was good." Unfortunately, because of employment between the 6 of my family members, we can not all go at the same time now. I called *********, and they said they were unaware that this company would not refund, due to them "closing the park". I'm extremely upset with a $400.00 purchase, that I then paid another $50.00 to "protect my trip", and was denied 3 times! So misleading and deceptive in what they offer to cover. 1 starWe bought $500 worth of tickets to six flags (with this insurance) for a Halloween event, the event got cancelled due to weather. They refused to offer a refund stating its six flags job too, however the event is only allowing future credit to the park which we dont want. DO NOT use this company!Protecht Inc
