    WHAT KIND OF COMPANY DOES BUSINESS LIKE THIS? A "door to door" salesman approached me while working in my yard. He made a good case to have his company (Eco-Shield) spray around my house for ants and spiders, install a mouse trap, etc. Afterwards my wife was very unhappy with this because she's gotten in to using "natural" things like vinegar and lavender for bugs and weeds. When they alerted me a couple of weeks ago they would be out again I called right away and told them not to. First, I got a big sales pitch, then a lowered price with guarantee, then a threat of a $250 charge for "early termination of contract". Like this is going to make me want to ever do business with them again or recommend them to anyone! I SHOULD have read reviews before I agreed to the service since this is only ONE OF MANY SIMILAR COMPLAINTS. I'm a retired businessman and can't imagine ever doing this to a customer! I retired 2 1/2 years ago and still get phone calls and Happy New Year, etc from old customers who obviously view me as a friend.

    Never ever let that company lie to you, on my door knocked their owner said he was owner of the company he will take care of the pests and services. Two months later we are full of spiders and they dont anything about it, K called and canceled. All the sudden they are telling me there is a cancellation fee of $250 and they start harassing me about that fee. I called ******* owner he confirms he will waive the fee! Two weeks later they keep harassing I call and they say he is not the owner!!! On his business card confirms owner! Beware this is a fraud company which will not only take care of pests but harass you for money after.

    8/5/25 I was approached by a man knocking on my door last night at 7pm. I said I wasn't able to do services right now and he said "why not". I then noticed he had tattoos running up his neck. He was overly aggressive and scared me. How do I get my name off their list? The last thing I want at my front door is an angry white guy.

    I highly recommend you avoid this company. They signed up my 94 year old dad to a 2 year contract without him understanding. When I tried to get him out of the contract, the company absolutely refused. When I left them a bad online review, they called me and said he could get out after 2 more treatments. Almost a year later, I am still trying to get my dad out of this contract. Every time I call them, I am waiting on the line for at least one hour and I'm transferred back and forth to different divisions. I hate this company!

    I had Eco Shield do an initial assessment and then had them treat for mice and insects. They put a box out for mice but on the second treatment we were told that no bait had ever been put into the box from the 1st treatment even though we paid for this. They did not honor their agreement, gave no valid excuse for this misinformation and poor service. They are now trying to charge me $250 to cancel and agreement that they failed to fulfill. Do not be fooled by this company. I would never consider having them to my property again.

    I had someone show up at my door and aggressively try to sell me their pest control services. I gave them my name and phone number but nothing else. I was then sent texts asking me if I wanted to be added to the schedule that I never answered. Then 6 weeks later I get a text that they will be at my house for my scheduled service. I called to cancel and was told there would be a fee!! I never gave them my credit card and never signed a contract so im not sure who they will charge but I felt like this was very sneaky of them.

    If I could leave a zero star I would. They were supposed to come out in July to do the house and they came on the 31st. Problem is they did the house across the street instead of mine. Contacted them and I got a run around. Stay away from this incompetent place.

    I was also mislead and deceived by the sales tactics! Do not sign up with this company. They are not honest, and they do not do what they say they will, and they charge $250 to cancel the service. I ended up getting 1 treatment and then the actual technician came and gave an additional quote of 6k at least for other issues that I thought were included in the already extremely high $200 bi-monthly fee that supposedly covered all of the things I wanted taken care. If I had known that they didn't really cover anything and I was going to be screwed over I would have never signed up. I wish I had checked the BBB prior to signing up and seen all the additional bad reviews. Canceling is also difficult. Instead of canceling and waiving the outrageous fee they try to discount the remaining part of the contract and keep you trapped in this c*** service. I was on the phone for an hour trying to just cancel this *** deal and I'm still not sure they canceled it. They finally agreed to waive the $250 cancellation fee as it has been less than 30 days and they already got $200 for an incomplete service. I have never felt more ripped off in my life. I feel like their salespeople are predatory and if you see them on your lawn tell them no thank you. I will be sure to hang my no soliciting sign today and they better not come back. It is not the technician's fault. I would like to note that the 2 technicians I dealt with were knowledgeable and seemed honest. To bad the sales team is the typical lying scum you associate with sales. Do not use this company! I regret not doing my due dilligence and I understand that part is on me. I was just excited to take care of a pest problem with what seemed to be an eco friendly/good company. They are not!!!!

    I want ******, who we first had contact with on a door to door basis when he visited our address on July 1, 2025 and stated he was the current pest control provider for 2 of our neighbors on our street. Upon first contact with ****** he informed us his company currently had a special that offered services for a 50% discount off the regular fee. Making the first visit $150 that would be due on the date of service which he stated could be performed later that afternoon if we would be home. After that we were told we would have follow up applications every ************************************************************************************************************************ between applications. At this point we were told if after the first 10 days we still were experiencing and pest issues they would come back and retreat our home. OnJuly 23 I received a VM, text messages stating we had an appt on that upcoming Saturday . I assumed it was because of our phone call about the continued pest issues. We were scheduled to for 6 appts . So we called .I know what we asked though because of specific needs and the desire to be about our financial obligations for the work. Upon calling the company we were told the upcoming appt was not for any continued pest problems but the follow up visit that would at that point then guarantee their services from that that point forward and we would be charged $204 plus $14 taxes and fees . This was never told to us. After trying to explain the situation to the customer service *** my husband became extremely frustrated by their lack of desire to even listen but rather become pushy and aggressive as if this was a common issue they have to deal with. It was beyond clear that the woman on the phone was not going to budge or even attempt to contact anyone but rather just tell us what we signed up for and thats what would happen or the alternative, our contract would then be void and the initial $150 we had spent

    Very unhappy. They use lies to get you to sign up. They also gave me appointments, then changed the appointment schedule to whatever they wanted no matter what they had told me. This happened repeatedly, in fact every time except the last visit. I am so tired of dealing with them. Their products do NOT kill insects. We have had NO improvement. The owner of the company ( I found out he is not), told me that he would waive the cancellation fee if for any reason we were not happy with their treatments by the middle to end of Summer. I found out today, that they are going to charge hefty cancelation fee. Do NOT be swindled by these company.
