I responded to a Facebook Marketplace Ad, entitled, "Free stuff in your area" because I had some items to give away. I started receiving feeds from them that seemed like just fun questions. They asked what my horoscope was and I responded. Immediately, I started getting DMs from Psychics wanting to read my cards, etc. I kept blocking them, not realizing where they came from. A few months later, I was checking my PayPal statement and saw that I was paying $45 a month for a subscription to Nebula. I didn't even know what it was. I contacted them through PayPal. At one point, they agreed to refund me the $95 they had taken from me without my approval. Then I contacted PayPal to report them. PayPal said that I authorized payment to them. They ruled in favor of Nebula. Then Nebula said it was against their policy to refund me because I started a claim against them. I think PayPal and Nebula are in cahoots with one another. Do not answer questions or surveys on FB that come in feeds! They are phishing for information and getting it! Both Nebula and PayPal are patronizing me with comments suggesting that I must've forgotten I signed up. Beware!

I saw an Ad on YouTube for an astrology questionnaire. I answered the questionnaire and was told $1 was for review/results. I paid through PayPal and then saw an option for $29.99, monthly option, but no thank you! I never received an initial review either. Next day I saw $1 and $29.99 "recurring monthly subscription" charge on PayPal. Initiated PayPal dispute and changed passwords. Received a "Your bank denied payment" email the next day. Checked bank and no email was sent. Interestingly, the email disappeared from history! Checked online reviews for nebula and asknebula sites (which I should have done before clicking the Ad). Multiple negative reviews for similar situations. Contacted nebula customer service and have been in continuous circle of responses. They want me to click a link stating that issue was resolved. I continue to respond stating that I did not knowingly accept additional service. They're claiming that "their system processed an up-sell service" and no further monthly charges would occur. Saw somewhere that they're claiming to be from Ibiza?? Be careful! Have been reporting Ad whenever seen.

Was on Facebook (should have known better I guess) and saw test for finding out my spirit animal. Filled out the info, got shifted to scanning my palm for a palm reading then came the request for money. I chose that I was willing to pay $5 for the info. Got shuffled into a 29.99 choice (or others if I wanted to spend more for other things) that I could not get out of so hit enter, not knowing what would happen. Said reading was ready but could not access it, just went to pages of psychic readers or other things I could get by the "points" I had. Guess the 29.99 was a subscription because a week later I was charged 45.00. Have sent several emails to 2 different address listed on their contact page. At first got the same thing please explain what you want, we are behind. Got a couple of these. Then no response at all. Attempted to cancel everything but it was a laundry list of things I would have to prove, things I had no answer for. Cannot cancel. Am going to try going thru pay pal but not sure they can help. Unfortunately my paypal is linked to my debit cart and I did not change it to one of the other choices I could have used so am guessing my bank will be unable to get the money back.

Asked to pay a sliding scale for an astrology report. I chose $5. Then, after passing through several pages I was asked to pay an additional $29 for some other report. Or, I was offered the option to "skip this offer and move forward." I pressed the "skip" button twice, but was still charged $29. When I sent an email to them, they kindly informed me that my $5 payment was a one time offer for an ongoing monthly subscription of $45 that I did not know about. When I checked out their Facebook page, many people are having a similar experience with this company.

SPIRITUAL NEBULA LIMITED is a total scam. I signed up for a one-week trial and was charged for a report I did not order or receive. When I reached out, they provided fake screenshots that in no way indicated I ordered the report or received it. They said only PayPal can issue a refund, but PayPal claimed the vendor received the money. And PayPal is no better. After multiple calls and escalating the case several times, PayPal sided with the vendor, stating they received proof of delivery from the vendor. When I asked to receive a copy, PayPal refused to provide it for "security reasons." The vendor also refuses to provide it. Additionally, my attempts to dispute all the fake screenshots—screenshots that in no way linked me to the purchase or mode of delivery—were considered "benign," and I was told I had to prove I never received the item. Stay away from both of them

Facebook showed an ad that I could get a personal tarot reading for $1. I clicked on the link curious about it, and didn't want to put my card information on the site, so used pay pal instead, under the impression i could dispute any charges the company attempted to take if the offer was a scam. I paid the $1, got the reading, and denied any other add-ons. 5 days later, i received an email from PayPal claiming i was charged $45 from Nebula for my subscription. I attempted to look up the company and try to logon to see why i was charged, but no site came up on my phone for Nebula. So i looked for the email reading i received, clicked on Nebula at the top of the email, and was shown, "Thank you for your purchase of $14.99." I immediately contacted Nebula support, disputing both charges. They responded that i was out of the refund time line and the denied a refund. I emailed them back and forth 19 times, and was still denied. I disputed the claims with PayPal, and they denied the claim because nebula claimed i accepted the subscription, even though i only had the tarot reading from them, nothing else. They are a scam, and I'm hoping to warn anyone else to stay away from them!

I saw an interesting ad in my FB feed about a $1 service from an astrology company - NEBULA - with no further fees being asked . It was for a very short on line question. I paid $1 from Paypal , which took money from my bank account ( attached to PAYPAL ) . Nebula proceeded , without my permission, to take an additional $39 US from Paypal /my bank account, and then attempt to bill me $39 US weekly ! for no service I ever signed up for , or agreed to. There was never any service provided , or offered for this bogus charge. They put me on automatic withdrawals weekly, which I only caught by accident . Upon reaching out to them, they claimed that I signed up for weekly recurring payments, which is untrue. They refused outright to refund me- after dozens of emails to their support people. I am currently fighting with them to get my money refunded. I have escalated a claim with PAYPAL. After researching them on TRUSTPILOT I found out that they had a 2 star rating and most ALL the hundreds of comments were from people like me who were unwittingly defrauded by Nebula signing them up on their end , for recurring payments without their knowledge or permission. There are pages and pages of irate customers who were billed unknowingly by Nebula , who have tried to get a refund to no avail.

They lied on Facebook. They asked for a $1 donation for a reading and then never delivered the reading. No service provided no reading received. So I’m out $1 That’s how they get you. They actually, without your knowledge or consent, signed you up for a $45 occurring charge that they will not refund. There are many online forums with my same complaint. Like. Computer savvy people. So I have been disputing this claim and I wanted to get pictures and I asked a friend to sign up. Wouldn’t you know. They changed the entire interface. Now they clearly tell you about the future charges but it is also not a $1 donation for the reading, it is now a required payment for future charges. If that’s not guilt I don’t know what is

Online Purchase - Online Retailer Scam

My girlfriend saw a popup on a website leading them to the Nebula: Horoscope & Astrology app on the iPhone App Store. She downloaded the app and signed up for the free trial. There was no indication that she will be charged money, but later she was charged $45. Their subscription service does not show under Apple's subscription service, so most users do not even know they scribed to the service, and there is no way to cancel there. You have to go to their website to cancel the subscription. This is very scammy behavior. Many other people also got scammed by them, here are threads I found online: https://www.threads.net/@just_jacquelinemc/post/DAaYjkWNg0Z?hl=en https://www.quora.com/Asknebula-com-reviews-is-it-legit-or-a-scam https://discussions.apple.com/thread/255116047?sortBy=rank
