I saw an interesting ad in my FB feed about a $1 service from an astrology company - NEBULA - with no further fees being asked . It was for a very short on line question. I paid $1 from Paypal , which took money from my bank account ( attached to PAYPAL ) . Nebula proceeded , without my permission, to take an additional $39 US from Paypal /my bank account, and then attempt to bill me $39 US weekly ! for no service I ever signed up for , or agreed to. There was never any service provided , or offered for this bogus charge. They put me on automatic withdrawals weekly, which I only caught by accident . Upon reaching out to them, they claimed that I signed up for weekly recurring payments, which is untrue. They refused outright to refund me- after dozens of emails to their support people. I am currently fighting with them to get my money refunded. I have escalated a claim with PAYPAL. After researching them on TRUSTPILOT I found out that they had a 2 star rating and most ALL the hundreds of comments were from people like me who were unwittingly defrauded by Nebula signing them up on their end , for recurring payments without their knowledge or permission. There are pages and pages of irate customers who were billed unknowingly by Nebula , who have tried to get a refund to no avail.
