I noticed I couldn't log into my ******** account on my laptop but i still had access on my phone. ******** reported my password recently was changed but I never changed it. I proceeded to the settings of my ******** account in the security section and locked my account which also locks out who whoever changed my password. Two minutes later I received a text message from Fedex, notifying me that I missed my delivery and to click a link to reschedule. The link and email both looked fraudulent so I didn't click the link and came to BBB to report. Not only did they know I was getting a delivery, which is still in route after contacting Fedex, but they knew that because they must of hacked my email address and ******** account which uses my same email address.

A person in a vehicle with sprayer equipment approached me while I was doing landscaping on my property. Gave me a card saying they do driveway repair and sealing with a warranty, and offered me a deal to have it done that same day. I accepted since my driveway needs the work. They sprayed and promised to come back to do the repair work and reseal. They have never come back to date. I have talked to the owner several times and was told he would show up soon. (I have fallen for this 3 times with this "Company" and given them money 3 times now. But I will no longer. They threaten stating they are taking legal action and do not give the company name until you call back. They then tell me that I owe so much money however they will not send a copy of any information about the debt or collection information. They state if I do not pay today they will send me to court and they will also be garnishing my wages. The website purports to be going out of business due to an elderly artisan at the end of her career and before her retirement she is selling ONE OF A KIND HAND MADE jewelry which is her life's passion. This is a farce and nothing can be further from the truth, as the jewelry is junk made in Korea. Upon making the purchase on July 25, 2025 @11:05 am, I knew I was had. I immediately contacted my credit card company, cancelled my card and informed them of the transaction (THANK GOD FOR AMERICAN EXPRESS) in addition within 5 minutes of my purchase I sent an email to the email listed on their website that I wanted to cancel my order. The games had already begun, I was sent an email approximately 15 minutes after my purchase that half of my order shipped. My next notification from the company, (oh yes I was emailing them relentless during this time) was that my order would arrive on August 6, 2025. On August 8th, I received a bogus tracking email indicating my package was delayed at the international airport, due to an issue with the shipping carrier and I should expect to receive it within 5 business days. Attempts to contact the company via emails during this time was futile, I received no written reply, until this point communication was strictly notifications in their part. On August 12th, I received a written response indicating the delay was beyond their control and I was reassured my package would be delivered within 5-10 business days. In response I sent another email informing them I was going to do what I'm doing right now and that is report them to the BBB and inform the public of the scam artist they are. Well suffice to say the very next day August 13, 2025, I received a package from an address listed in Jamaica NY 182-30 150th Road Jamaica NY. with what appeared to be 99cent store junk the packaging label clearly displays made in Korea. NOTHING NEAR WHAT IS SHOWN ON THE WEBSITE, and definitely not ONE OF A KIND HAND MADE JEWELRY. Upon receipt of the package I immediately followed the instructions on their website that states "do not send items back without contacting us first-they will not be accepted". I emailed [email protected] to begin the return process to no avail. I have not received any response as of today August 15, 2025, while attempting to email again for a return receipt I am now receiving an error message on their website which reads 404 page not found the page you were looking for does not exist. In summary beware this company is a scam, the jewelry is fake and not one of a kind, This is NOT an an elderly artisan retiring it is thieves attempting to retire off of the monies stolen from hard working people. This business is using Instagram advertising to promote their “Reversible Plaid Hoodies”. What they aren’t telling you that the images used in these ads are intellectual property of another legitimate small business which formerly went under the name of “StrikeZone”. I actually had a conversation with the owner of StrikeZone and he said their product photos are oftenly stolen and used to promote scams. I did receive an item in the mail, surprisingly. But the quality of the received item was no where near the quality shown on the website. Cheap stitching, practically see through fabric, and inadequate patterning with the plaid.

Phishing - Quickbooks imposter

I received a phone call from "QuickBooks" stating that they were following up regarding our annual renewal. The person stated that our credit card was declined and they wanted a card number to put on file. I knew this was a scam. They had also called previously that was more convincing stating that there was an update happening (which I had received an email from LEGITIMATE QuickBooks) and that they needed me to login to my account and they would walk me through the steps. Be aware that sometimes the caller ID does say "QuickBooks" but sometimes it doesn't.
