      I received written confirmation from Intact that I would be insured while working in the US. After three weeks I was informed that there was a “glitch” in the system and that they were not able to insure me at all.
      I am now stuck without insurance.

      Took ** ****** vehicle to Intact's shop to be fixed for hail damage (Aug. 2023). They fixed the hail damage, but made a mess of her vehicle. Scratches in 3 different spots, head liner full of greasy fingerprints , visors full of grease, headliner hanging down, tint missing on back window in spots, solvent all over the back seat cover, Back bumper full of deep scratches. Trying to get them to fix it is becoming a full time job. NOBODY is replying to ** ****** calls & messages. I took her vehicle back over to them ( ********* *** ** ******* ) and was actually laughed at by the shop super. **** **************. My next move is going to the news and hiring a lawyer to have these damages that they caused , fixed. ** **** *** even called the head office and was told it will be reviewed. What is there to review? Intact's shop did all the damages while repairing hail damage (I have pics dated for the morning we dropped vehicle off to prove all the damages) I even showed these pics to ******** shop super and he acknowledged that the damages were not on vehicle when we dropped it off to have hail damage fixed. **** ******* **** ********* *** ** **** ****** ** *** ** ***** ********** ********** *** **** ********* **** **** ******* ********* **** ** *** ****** ** **** *** **** ** ******* **** **** ********** I will push this matter until they fix the damages that they did to ** ****** vehicle.

      I just called my insurance broker and asked him to find another insurance provider. I had a very negative experience in 2020 the first year he switched me to Intact, and I never forgot.
      ******** * ***** ****** **** *** ****** *** ******** ****** *** **** *** ****** ****** **** **** ** ***** I don’t appreciate Intact making it so difficult for customers to make a justified claim.
      Do yourself a favour and get any other decent company besides Intact.

      ****** ** ******** **** ******* ********* My car got stolen few months a go and after a week I been told that claim is approved and someone will get hold of me and get compensation after 45 minute interrogation , that didn't happen after they find out that I had appraisal on my car and they actually require it from me to have it in case some think happen as the car was far from stock. I been interrogated 3 times with same question, basically been told that I have to cooperate or they will decline my claim, they also wanted me to sign a form that would strip me out of any sort of rights or possibility of going to court. I refused to sign, and they told me that they will decline my case, so I said do it!!! That never happened either. I been told today that it's going to drag by the person who interrogated it me. They are snooping around and even called *** **** **** who supposedly give them private information without my consent!!! There tactics are very dirty and unlawful, however they get away with it some how so far!!! I been literally treated as a thief. Very bad experience and not letting this go at any circumstances.

      I have been a customer of intact for the past several years. I was in my first accident this January and there were a ton of issues from the start off. Intact gave me no direction to where to take my vehicle and due to moving I needed to handle it asap. Wasn’t able to reach anyone and when I got a shop that worked with this company they gave me their approval. When the work was not completed properly intact informed me they won’t honour their work and I’m on my own. At this point I am currently without a vehicle and have no means of fixing it. I have attempted to reach out to your company multiple times and even reached out to the customer service team and still have not received a response, and this was over a month ago.
      This is an unreliable company who doesn’t care about their customer.
      Please find a different company if looking for a new one, this company will not help you.
      No one deserves to be left carless for almost a year with no means of getting things fixed when the insurance company approved the shop. No one deserves to be placed in the situation I am in.

      Worst insurance company you could ever get. Adjuster thinks that repairs to a vessel are negotiable. Last time I checked, we don't get to pay insurance less if we think they are too high. Why should they get to tell repair facilities what they can charge. ** *** *** **** **********

      I submitted a claim with Intact (************) on June 20th and have been bullied the whole time. They refused to give me a rental. * ** **** ** *** ** *** ************ * ****** **** **** ****** ******* ********* ********* *** *** I spoke with two different people because my adjuster does not answer her phone. They offered a rental but then said I had to wait on my adjuster Sabah. She refuses. She said if the garage determined water damage the claim would be covered. I spoke with garage and they said definitely water damage. Sabah refuses to confirm the claim is covered, even though the other two adjusters I spoke with said it was. Sabah is causing undue stress for no reason. * **** ***** **** ******** ** **** ******* *** **** ********* **** *** *** ** ******

      I would like to just start with that intact is probably the most expensive insurance for anything. I've been with them for 10 years or so and every renewal my insurance rate goes up and I have a good a good driving record and apparently I have the discounts which doesn't show much. * ****** ** ***** ****** **** *** **** ********* ******** **** ***** ********* ********* *** **** *** ****** **** ** **** **** **** * ** **** ******* I'm at the stage where I need to shop around because what I'm paying now is ridiculous *** ****** ** *******.

      I am extremely unhappy with the responsiveness and decisions with my claim made by Intact and my claims representative at Intact, Zovig Wartanian. Not only has she not responded to emails without being called repeatedly by myself and my mechanic but she has denied OEM parts on my claim that were previously and recently approved by Intact on a different claim. She has been difficult to work with and has complicated the process as much as possible in comparison to other insurance agents I've had to deal with in the past. ** * ****** ****** * ***** ****** * **** **** * ** ***** **** ******* * ****** ** ***** ** ****** *** ******* ***** ****** ********* ******* ***** ****** ********* ** * ****** ** *** ********

      Intact's social media team reached out to my in response to my review online and after contacting them through their number Intact insurance has resolved my claim beyond my expectations. I can see no interface option through the BBB website to delete or modify my review but I would like anyone reading this to know that Intact has treated me fairly and resolved my initial issues.

      This is the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with! ** *** *** ********* **** **** ** * ****** *** **** ******** I set up tenant insurance for my mom's retirement home rental. She passed and trying to cancel and get the cheque issued has been an on going nightmare. I've called the broker 4 times to get the refund cheque issued and it still hasn't been - over 6 months of waiting. Excuses from Intact provided as 'name had to be updated to Executor of the Estate before payment issued' but they didn't contact the broker to correct it. Or 'system glitch'.
