1 star****** ********* ******* **** *** ****** Jennifer Rinn obviously new did not reach out to me for 2 weeks after numerous emails directly to her about applications. When she finally did she had to re send them numerous times due to errors. After finally signing g on an agreement numbers changed, then errors again,6 hours later premiums went up over $800. Went up twice for same minor ticket. Was td Jennifer or her supervisor would call me last Thursday,no call back. Then again same thing on Friday. Spent over at least 10 hours on the phone and have at least a dozen emails.Friday called *** ********* was on the phone 55 minutes,recieved pink cards,and all paper work. Done,and cheaper than Intact. Pretty sad when it takes almost a month with Intact and all the mistakes. Also pretty sad how a supervisor neglected to call me to figure things out since Jennifer Rinn had no idea what she was doing.Intact Insurance

1 starAfter 15 years with Intact, my husband and I missed a payment as we were switching banks. According to intact, they sent us a registered letter; that we did not receive; they called an old home phone number that hasn’t been active for 10 years. They then proceeded to cancel our home and auto insurance. One. Missed. Payment. 2 weeks before Christmas. I don’t even have words to describe how despicable I think this company is. On top of this, they won’t speak to us. We’ve had to speak with them through a broker. So even though we paid; three days late, they still cancelled it. Luckily we have a second vehicle with separate insurance and some home insurance coverage with our bank ; we have a friend who owns a brokerage who can help us, but what about the people who don’t? I can’t even imagine who this person is making these decisions. Whoever you are, hope you can sleep at night.Intact Insurance

1 starIntact insurance is handling my claim through *** *** ********* so I am leaving a review for both parties. My vehicle just got wrecked three and half weeks ago by someone blowing a stop sign. They have been ***** ******** *** unhelpful through this whole process. My adjuster did not even call me after the accident, they did not want to give me a rental and left me stranded for a ride a week and a half before I had to call them and fight to get one. They then sent me a low ball offer on my vehicle and tried to get me out of that rental within two days. My adjuster then did not tell me there was a delay in my settlement dispute for a week which led to me having to call them and demand to speak to my adjuster and a manager. I had previously sent all the receipts of the work done to the vehicle to them like they asked which equaled out to four thousand dollars. The adjuster called me and was super unhelpful as they have been ************** *** unresponsive the whole time. The manager was great and really seemed eager to help get the claim moving offering fair solutions like giving me back the rental they demanded back after offering me the settlement offer. They then sent me another low ball offer trying to short change me three thousand dollars only offering a thousand more for the four thousand dollars worth of work I had just put into the vehicle. The manager tried to call me during the day but I missed the call because I was in a dead zone and they expect you to just be okay spending hours on the phone at work while your boss is wondering what you are doing. I called later that day asking to speak to the manager again and got told they would call me again in twenty-four hours further disrupting my work because they clearly do not care. I am supposed to get a call from the manager tomorrow and hope to get a fair resolution but I am not banking on it with how I have been treated this whole time.Intact Insurance

1 starThe absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. Got in an accident on October 5. It took five days to get the quote process started. Two weeks before they ok’d the repair. Each person I spoke to told me they required something additional so I had to keep sending more photos and documents.
It’s November 29th now and I still don’t have my vehicle back because the hood latch is back ordered. I have $1500 in rental car coverage. They have only covered $500 but refuse to extend the rental any longer until the advisor gives permission. The advisor is not contacting anybody or giving any updates. I have spent three weeks with over 10 phone calls, totaling over three hours with Intact and everyone tells me the same thing… We are waiting for the adjusters permission…but your rental will be covered…we just don’t know until when.
Through this whole process I haven’t ever spoke to my adjuster or received any email responses from her. Every time I call I have to speak to a general person who isn’t able to help me and refuses to let me speak to any sort of manager. This is completely ridiculous and the most frustrating. Enterprise is now calling me telling me I owe them $1200 and they are going to take that hold from my credit card…even though Intact has only covered $500 of the $1500 in rental coverage that I pay for!
This is absurd and I’ll be leaving intact the minute I receive my vehicle back from being repaired. **** *****Intact Insurance

1 star3 months ago I was in a non fault accident. Intact did not give me a rental. Intact gave me a very low offer on the car but did not give or show me the estimate of what it would be to repair the car
It's been three month and still don't have any compensation did not receive any kind of contact from the adjuster. I'm still paying the insurance on a car that they have in possession. I have emailed them numerous time for some sort of update on the situation but have not herd back

1 starI’m an independent trucking company and went into an accident on September 29/2022. Intact Insurance is my insurance provider for Truck/Trailer/Cargo and receives a large amount of money ( about 2100$) every months to cover Canada and the USA in case of a claim. This company is not at all providing the service like promised, instead they are one of the most disappointing insurance companies I’ve ever dealt with. Instead of keeping the customer like me posted and up to date on a claim, they are a very unorganized and ignorant service provider. 1 starMy daughter was hit as she drove by the Pickering mall by a lady who had exited the mall without looking. This was on January 23rd 2022, it is now October 13 and I was told today that the shop now needs another two weeks because they cannot get a rental car, ***** ********! Intact has contacted me personally two times since all of this started, endless meaningless emails with questions that had been answered previously, the only saving grace is our actual Broker checks up on us weekly, they will be looking for another company once this is all taken care of.I will not put up with this ever again, I have 9 cars insured , they will have none !Intact Insurance

1 starINTACT INSURANCE ARE THE WORST. I have been insured with them for 20+ years. On January 19th 2022 MY CAR was rammed by a garbage truck. Only esthetic damages on the side. I was 100% NON-responsible. We are now in October 2022 and they refuse to pay, do not reply unless you insist greatly, propose a ridiculous amount and treat me like I am a complete idiot.
