      The absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. Got in an accident on October 5. It took five days to get the quote process started. Two weeks before they ok’d the repair. Each person I spoke to told me they required something additional so I had to keep sending more photos and documents.
      It’s November 29th now and I still don’t have my vehicle back because the hood latch is back ordered. I have $1500 in rental car coverage. They have only covered $500 but refuse to extend the rental any longer until the advisor gives permission. The advisor is not contacting anybody or giving any updates. I have spent three weeks with over 10 phone calls, totaling over three hours with Intact and everyone tells me the same thing… We are waiting for the adjusters permission…but your rental will be covered…we just don’t know until when.
      Through this whole process I haven’t ever spoke to my adjuster or received any email responses from her. Every time I call I have to speak to a general person who isn’t able to help me and refuses to let me speak to any sort of manager. This is completely ridiculous and the most frustrating. Enterprise is now calling me telling me I owe them $1200 and they are going to take that hold from my credit card…even though Intact has only covered $500 of the $1500 in rental coverage that I pay for!
      This is absurd and I’ll be leaving intact the minute I receive my vehicle back from being repaired. **** *****

      3 months ago I was in a non fault accident. Intact did not give me a rental. Intact gave me a very low offer on the car but did not give or show me the estimate of what it would be to repair the car
      It's been three month and still don't have any compensation did not receive any kind of contact from the adjuster. I'm still paying the insurance on a car that they have in possession. I have emailed them numerous time for some sort of update on the situation but have not herd back

      I’m an independent trucking company and went into an accident on September 29/2022. Intact Insurance is my insurance provider for Truck/Trailer/Cargo and receives a large amount of money ( about 2100$) every months to cover Canada and the USA in case of a claim. This company is not at all providing the service like promised, instead they are one of the most disappointing insurance companies I’ve ever dealt with. Instead of keeping the customer like me posted and up to date on a claim, they are a very unorganized and ignorant service provider. It seems like there is no communication in between the representatives and also no interest in helping their customers. **** *** ** **** ************** ******** ** ** **** ********* **** ***** ** ** **** ** ******* ** *** ****.It is absolutely unacceptable that I’m as a customer get promises about the process of the claim is handled ASAP but - nothing has been done without pressuring from my side.* ********** ***** ********* **** ******* ** *** *** ********** * **** **** ****** **** ************** ******* ** *** *******

      My daughter was hit as she drove by the Pickering mall by a lady who had exited the mall without looking. This was on January 23rd 2022, it is now October 13 and I was told today that the shop now needs another two weeks because they cannot get a rental car, ***** ********! Intact has contacted me personally two times since all of this started, endless meaningless emails with questions that had been answered previously, the only saving grace is our actual Broker checks up on us weekly, they will be looking for another company once this is all taken care of.I will not put up with this ever again, I have 9 cars insured , they will have none !

      INTACT INSURANCE ARE THE WORST. I have been insured with them for 20+ years. On January 19th 2022 MY CAR was rammed by a garbage truck. Only esthetic damages on the side. I was 100% NON-responsible. We are now in October 2022 and they refuse to pay, do not reply unless you insist greatly, propose a ridiculous amount and treat me like I am a complete idiot. This is disgusting. They use and abuse you while making TV and radio publicity to cover their ungrateful attitude* *** **** *** ** **** *** ******** ***** ** **********

      Took a while to figure out how Intact was getting away with ******** *** dictating all aspects of my auto theft claim. They monopolize the industry, they openly disregard the insurance OAP-1 policy and standard practices. Conversations are empty and programmed, like robots. Intact has loopholes now to manipulate insurance practices by eliminating all human interaction and totally computerized all positions, Artificial Intelligence. For simple claims this version of seamless insurance may work. However, for any complicated cases that are not straightforward and require common sense and human intelligence to interpret, this system collapses. Intact is making profits by not employing humans and has navigated all issues that would prevent them from discriminating, bulling, functioning with no regard for humanity and have no compassion regarding consumers that are in stressful situations. This computerized system regularly misinterprets, misreads and misunderstands. With no human to stop the system from going on a tangent. If there is any intervention, it's literally machines checking on machines. The end result always lacking in humanity with the machines only objective to always steer the claim to benefit Intact. Email responses are timed to drag on for months hoping that you will give up the fight or another strategy is to steer the claim awry for so long there is no going back. Email responses are poorly written and ignore inquiries. The regulatory bodies that are in place to prevent Insurance companies from practicing fraud are powerless against this A.I system. The GIO, FRSA and internal Ombudsman's are powerless because there are no humans to interact with. The icing on the cake for Intact is that computers can't be held accountable for this low quality *** ********** actions. Intact refuses to schedule in person meetings, answer or return phone calls. When you choose this company you willingly give up your rights to democratic and just insurance.

      I drive a ******** 2016 * ***** **** which was in an accident in March 2022 they received the claim and no one reached out to me for a week. I called back trying to figure out what was going on an seemed my file was lost. After finding my file the proceeded to fix my car however once the autobody received the quote to fix they found a few more damages and perceeded to get a second estimate (supplement). No one from intact responded to numerous messages for second estimate until 2 months in June when they now deem my vehicle a right off all of a sudden *******. My vehicle was not a ride off at all no matter the cost. Then they proceeded to mention they would send someone out to review damages the never intially ever saw which took another 2 weeks. Also they tool back the rental car from me in April so in June im without a vehicle, a car and s paying for insurance. In July they tell me they will be settling with me and through it all still want to offer me the bare minimum seeing all the mishaps that transpired on their behalf. I called numerous times for assistance and was told daily someone would call back in 24-48 hours which never ever happened. Never ever spoke to my adjuster only the customer service reps who have to cope with the **** *** manipulation from their counterparts. Today I still wait for a settlement check to be issued in this matter and still am receiving the run around. Still being charged for insurance on a vehicle I dont have and still hearing someone will reach out in 24-48. March 12-Aug 24 this claim has been going for. I have lost money , my car and my mind dealing with people i have been paying for over 3 years. For anyone dealing with this behaviour please feel free to respond

      I recently gotten in an accident. **** ********* ******* *** **** **** *************** It seems like they have some type of stalling tactics. They attempted to cheat me out of some of my funds I was supposed to receive. Overall this process has Been very stressful.

      My insurance claim has not been addressed for over a month . Accident happened JUNE 28th ! Rear ended and OPP accident report isn`t enough to get my car fixed? This is ridiculous . IT is now AUGUST 16th ! They tell me my adjuster went away till the 29th of August !

      My car accident happened last month, and basically lost my job because of injury. Asked them for income replacement claim, and that adjuster said, I put a note on it. Asked for car rental, for interview new job, or basic life needs, he provide me **********, which had no car, and promised me that if there is any car, will call me back, but after a month, nope. Then I asked if I found any rental but not **********, he said yes, but by the time I rented a car, from my pocket currently, and told him the price, he said it is too expensive. I have no idea if they would cover me or not. But that is the only car in almost the whole city. I have found more than 10 rental store, and all of them said no car available. Then now, I have no car to use, and still no answer, killing my life and keep waiting for his note
