  I was leery at first buying a mattress in a box, and after talking with two siblings who happened to have purchased 3 of them I decided to buy mine. I purchased the King ********* I am impressed at the firmness which is very comparable to the coil mattress I had previously. Both my husband and I had no adjustment to make as this mattress was comfortable from the first night. We have been sleeping on it for 9 nights now and even had one night of 10 hours of uninterrupted sleep. No sore back or hip. We absolutely love our new mattress and definitely will not hesitate to by a Douglas mattress again when the time comes.

  Our mattress arrived with a stain, I opened it myself and it was right under the plastic in a red tone. I reported this immediately and customer service was slow to acknowledge even with photo included. A few days later we were asked to remove coverings and send photos of the entire mattress, tags on ends, boxes, shopping labels etc... The response was not satisfactory, we asked how to remove the stains and they provided no advice, they offered to exchange the mattress at the cost of our trial which we haven't gotten to even try. No suggestions on what the stain could be, we are afraid to void warranty by trying to clean, we loose our trial if we exchange, seems odd to ask the customer to give something up for an issue that took place before being packaged. Arrived quickly so giving a couple of stars.

  After reviewing your photos, our team offered a few potential solutions and determined that the issue appears to be cosmetic and shouldnt affect the performance of your mattress.
  
  It looks like the best option for you would be to continue using the mattress through your sleep trial, and then have it replaced with a new one at the end (one of the options provided). That way, you get the full benefit of the trial period before receiving a new mattress as a replacement.
  
  We will escalate this to a senior member of our customer care team to have a second look at this and also ask them to provide some cleaning instructions. We hope this is helpful!

  I already have told friends and family. I was not going to go with a foam mattress. I like a firm ********, and one that I don't wake up a sweat on, which is what I thought would happen with yours. My hubby talked me into trying a Douglas by daying what did I have to loose, especially with you 365 day return policy. I'm so glad I listened to him. Love my new mattress.

  As I mentioned before many mattresses start to sag over time. This mattress being a different martial is very comfortable and so far am very pleased.

  I love these sheets (Egyptian cotton). They are cool and crisp without being scratchy, soft without being satiny and the colour (sage green) is so soothing. In other words, perfect!

  This mattress is amazing, it is soft and plush while still being firm. There is virtually no motion transfer. As a sleeper who sleeps on the very edge I can say the edge support is great. The fast free delivery was excellent unboxing was simple and was sleeping on the mattress several hours later. The free sleep bundle was actually good quality especially the mattress protector. Every Canadian needs this mattress.
