In February 2025 Mad city came.out to sell cabinets. My son tried to cancel they say they had to proceed He's payment around ****** was the cost his monthly payment 300 a mth.. in May 9 2025 they took four payments out of our bank account ..Business Response

My husband and I received an initial in-home estimate for kitchen cabinet refacing. We declined the service and the representative left. Over the past several months, the company kept calling trying to do business with us. I have repeatedly declined their service and told them to take us off their list and to cease calling. They have failed to stop calling and harassing me about estimates.Business Response

A simple request for a price quote has led to a deluge of calls from this business (using multiple phone numbers) without leaving any messages. This is harassment . Leave one message and I will return your call at my earliest convenience. Please ask Mad City to remove my phone number from their call list immediately. I am being called 15 times a day by this company I block numbers and they use a new number each time. I am being harassed and it needs to stop. I would never use a company who uses shady sales methods !!Business Response

This company has called me routinely, multiple times per day, sometimes as many as ten times from multiple different numbers. I have not answered one of their calls. I have no interest in their product. Their repeated calling is ridiculous and there is no way to prevent them from continuing to call me. It is borderline harassment.Business Response

They have called me 12 times in 6 hours from about 8 different numbers, often calling back again a minute later after the call didn't go through. The caller ID often says: Mad City but not all the time. The name tracks, they're definitely mad. This practice gives me the impression this company is evil and I will tell my friends and tell them to tell their friends to never ever use "MyHomePros" which is what they're calling themselves now or ********. Didnt realize that the only way to get a quote was for them to call. They have called almost 10 times today alone and I cannot figure out how to get off their call list. Mad city said they could get the VA to give you or reimburse 6,800.$, And that did no t happen has of yet. That is the reason i took Mad City Window and Bath. because of the VA reimbursement. I had a stroke and I was encouraged to get a walk-in shower. And was told by ****, of Mad City Window and Bath about the reimbursement, and that would of helped me immensely .**** called back after a week, but I believed **** deceived me, and I believe no information was sent to the VA.Business Response

Multiple different Mad City staff have explained that the VA ***** is not a reimbursement from us, but a government *****. To obtain the ***** the homeowner has to apply for the ***** before the install is done, unfortunately this didn't happen. Mad City has gone above and beyond our contractual obligations by reaching out to multiple different VA representatives trying to get this ***** approved on the homeowner's behalf. There is still one representative working on the case, so there is a chance it may still be approved. Mad City has been more than patient working with the homeowner and VA considering this job was installed over 2 months ago and the homeowner is still refusing payment for something out of our control and also not in our contract.Initial Complaint

I ordered 3 windows from Mad city windows and bath. 1 picture window and to bedroom windows.The picture window is fine but the bedroom windows were measured wrong and were too small.I didn't notice it until after they were installed. Their field service *** came out and agreed they were the wrong size. I told him if they corrected the situation i would order 4 more. The now 6 windows were scheduled to be installed on 8/11/25 but was cancelled due to the installer quit. They rescheduled for 8/13/25 between noon and 2. They sent a text on the 12th and said they would be at my house between 8-10 so i took the day off from work. They didn't arrive until 4:30 on the 13th. They lied to me about where the installer was when i called to ask. The 2 windows that were wrong the first time were measured wrong again and didn't fit in openings. None of the top sashes seal to the frame and 3 grids out of the 6 windows are slanted.I wish i never would have called these people.Business Response

Customer is correct that the first ********************** were too small. Mad City ordered additional windows and they will fit. As far as the information that the installer will be there in the morning I did not have that on my calendar as we were to be there in the afternoon. If the Grids are off we need to be able to speak with the homeowner and visual inspect the grids. Numerous phone calls and voicemails have been left with the homeowner to resolve this matter. We understand your frustration and want to offer a fair resolution. The 2 windows left to install will fit and we want to schedule a time to complete the installation. If there are factory flaws in the grids we need to verify that with pictures so replacements can be ordered from the window manufacturer. The sashed that are not sealing can also be addressed but need to schedule a site visit from our Field Manager. I am also able to offer a discounted price. Was originally going to do a check on windows and decided to wait due to finances. Called and canceled the consultation and the lady had said "That's okay call us when you are ready to schedule". I have received several calls everyday despite repeatedly asking to stop. Every call is a different number they call from. Screenshot attached is just today (8/20/2025). It has been like this every day for weeks. I can't even block the number because they just call from a new one. I'm at the point I may have to change my phone number just to get it to stop.Business Response
