      If I could leave a "ZERO" I would. Their rebate is a complete scam, they advertise an 11% rebate but it's not a true rebate it's 11% off in the future only good at Menards. That is if you jumped through all the hoops and crossed all your Ts and dotted all the i when filling out the ** form! Then 6 weeks later maybe you get the rebate form in the mail that looks like junk mail and they hope you throw it away. I assume most people don't go through the hassle of filling out this ridiculous form and most probably unknowingly throw it away when it finally comes in the mail.

      I have the contractor card and didnt realize the due date changes every single month so they can charge you $39 for being late then charge the 24% interest on the average daily balance which takes charges from the next months bill. This is hands down THE WORST credit card on the market!

      Purchased a Stove from Menard's on July 1st. It took two weeks to arrive. Then it arrived damaged. I have filed three customer service requests and received one response with no information about how to replace or refund the item. BUYER BEWARE. Do not do business with this store. Do not expect to obtain any help.

      I've liked going to Menards since moving here a couple months ago, but the customer service is really spotty. There have been a couple stellar employees (you know, the kind that actually ask if you need help finding something). This last time it was especially bad - whatever help we could find was either no help or smart-mouth answers (e.g., my wife wanted another rug from the spot she got one just a few days ago - they were nowhere to be found, and instead of helping in any way, the employee just said "they're obviously sold out"). The worst of it, though, was when we ordered something from the yard. First, you have to go halfway across the store (again) to the building section to get a "ticket" - for some reason, the cashiers at checkout can't help you. We'd been there about 3 hours by that point, and asked if they could call ahead so we didn't have to wait too long in the yard. The cashier just laughed and said no, we'd have to handle it out there. I had about enough of the lack of help by then - so I told her what I thought of their customer service. She apologized for it, but in the meantime another employee (a relatively tall and sturdy-looking male that had very grudgingly helped earlier) , started walking back and forth behind her, and kept swinging what looked a lot like nunchucks from under his arm and back out - repeatedly! He never asked what the problem was, never added anything to the conversation - just performed his little intimidation ritual. Where I can maybe understand a lack of customer service, I can't understand - or accept - a clearly threatening gesture from an employee. In spite of having substantial "rebates" accumulated, I've vowed to never go back there.

      My daughter and I have sent for rebates last year and they said one was mailed out in January and another in June and we have received nothing. We can not contact the BBB be cause you are not a member. Our next step is to sue Menards.

      Their lawn equipment is trash. I purchased a lawn mower weed eater and a back pack blower. The weed eater lasted 1 trip around our 1/4 acre yard and quit running. The backpack blower quit blowing after 3 uses and they will not stand behind nothing they sold me. We spent over $30k there in one year. ***** and ********** will get my money from this day forward. Menards customer service is the epitome of customer relations, no appreciation at all.

      Never mixed our 5 - 5 gallons of stain, we had to go back, our drive time was 4 hours total, wouldn't reimburse us gas or our time. We had ordered the stain on line for our farm, they put it on our truck but not one 5 gallon can was mixed, oops on their part. They said they would reimburse our gas, time, etc so turn a complaint in to the main office in Eau Claire, I did twice but absolutely nothing! Never going to go there, I guess will shop local and pay a higher price.

      Delivered defective refidgerator and we lost all.of our food. Didn't offer reimbursement when asked. Said they would look into it and call us but never did. Terrible customer service. Don't shop here!

      Charged twice for a toolbox for $236. Husband called, they said he had to come in. He drove up there only to be told by the ** I see you have two charges on your bank statement and your receipt shows only one toolbox bought. However, theres nothing I can do since our end shows only one charge. Well, Im not sure how a business can have physical evidence that they charged someone twice for something and not give their money back.

      We purchased two Richmond-brand air conditioners from Menards that had performance issues from the moment they were plugged in, including water blowing from the front vents. After continued issues, we returned them fully boxed, with a receipt based on the store managers statement that we could receive credit. Only after the return was processed were we told it would be store credit only, not a refund to the original payment method (Menards credit card). Had we been informed of this beforehand, we would not have returned the units under those terms. As a result, we are now paying interest on merchandise that is no longer in our possession. Additionally, we did not submit the manufacturer rebate because we were attempting to resolve the issues before deciding whether to keep the units. Menards removed all customer reviews from their site, offers no accountability, and failed to disclose this policy clearly at the time of return. This appears to be a pattern of deceptive business practices and intentional lack of transparency.The Richmond brand is manufactured by ***************************, which earned over $6 billion in revenue in 2022. As the manufacturer, ***** should ensure their products meet performance standards and hold their retail partners accountable for how customers are treated when those products fail.We also contacted Menards Corporate in writing to request resolution, and we were told flatly, No, we will not help you. No alternative solution was offered.
