  Orbitz does not have its clients' back! For many months in advance we had a paid booking to an airbnb in ******** that was showcased as clean and updated. Well, the apartment's only attribute was a beautiful view of Holy Loch. It is not habitable. Who wants to drag a family's luggage up to realize there's NO HOT WATER? A mildewy bathtub (with no plug) that was home to a swarm of insects. A shortage of bed linens. Switch plates fallen away from the wall. Entrance was in the rear....and no exaggeration, A WAR-TORN VISUAL of half-torn-down walls, narrow spiral stairs and a dangerous rickety ********* about to fall off. It was obvious that we couldn't stay. After driving around we finally located a *************** with openings for us. Orbitz' only effort on our behalf was to convey our disappointment to the property owner. He chose not to reimburse my son's full advance payment, saying that we could have cancelled in advance! What? Truly a scam maneuver.

  I will never book with Orbitz again. I recently went to ********* and booked a hotel months in advance and paid the fee of $1163.56 Come to find out, Orbitz charged me $358.88 booking charge on a $777.68 total room charge for 4 days. What a rip off! Ive been using Orbitz for years but, this is ridiculous. NEVER AGAIN!

  I will never advise hotel booking on Orbitz. First of all, I prepaid the whole thing on the condition that I can change or cancel. But when it comes time to change, they will not honor it. Instead of agreeing to change the check in date like a normal operator, they insist on canceling the whole booking and making a brand new bookingwhich means much higher price and s******* the customer. I was astounded how they dont care one bit about customer or honoring their commitment (Ive been one for almost 2 decades). And the customer service has degraded so much. They dont even bother to list a phone numberjust virtual assistant that cannot help you in real time.

  I will never book with Orbitz again. I canceled a reservation within 24 hrs. I received and email from Orbitz saying I would get my full refund. They did not refund me. I have called numerous times to hear the same excuses Dont do it!

  Don't book with Orbitz! Their prices are extremely higher than the hotels and their match guarantee is not even comparable to the hotels. I booked through Orbitz for July 7-9 Room 2 double beds and sofa bed at the Hyatt in ********** ** for 3. They charged me $345.92 non refundable. As a member of Hyatt, the rate for those same two days is $288.19 and refundable up until one day before check in. What is the purpose of using Orbitz. They don't offer any discounts or bonuses for their service. I truly believe they are a rip off.   I booked a package. For funeral the first time I booked it. The computer made a mistake, On flying leave there and back in the same day causing me to cancel and reboot the second time. It put my name on both tickets. I bought Insurance to prevent. Any problems from happenand to correct it. It's costing me in additional $200. plush. $200. to cancel. Even though I paid for the insurance.

  I will never book with them again. I am now on the phone with them for the third time as there has been another flight change. They will not refund me. The customer service is awful. The wait time to investigate wether I am telling the truth about not knowing of the second flight was changed to a 3 hour layover will take 4 hours. Are you kidding me. To call American Airlines will take 2to 3 hours. The prices are not cheaper and now I have to deal with a third party to get anything done. Never again.

  Charged us 130 ******** for a ******** room. Called hotel. It's 130 ********. They charged my card 354 dollars. Hotel is confused as these were not the price guidelines they had come up with. Myself and the hotel were confused on where the extra money was going???? Straight up scam artists
