      I have now had not just one but multiple HORRIBLE experiences with Orbitz customer service. They are completely inept and can honestly barely speak proper English. This is not a failure of the customer service reps, this is a failure of proper *************************** over an hour via their customer service chat, here is just one example of a message I received after receiving a credit on a flight for which I was due over $650:"I already give you the fly you looking for and not pay any amount."Basic English competency should be a requirement for a major travel company. And this doesn't even begin to express the level of incompetency and lack of understanding of flight policies. I was due this money because I wanted to book a much cheaper flight then my credit, and they continually congratulated me because I wouldn't pay extra. But they were unwilling (or even able to understand) how to afford me the credit I was still due to apply it to another flight.If you have a trip to book and you are 100% sure there will be no challenges or problems that require a resolution, Orbitz is a website just like any other to let you find your travel info. There's nothing special about it compared to any other travel sites online.If anything goes wrong and you need a human to resolve your problem, with Orbitz you are screwed. They are the spitting image of incompetence on ever level.AVOID ORBITZ AT ALL COSTS.

      Orbitz sold nonrefundable/non-changeable tickets with cheap prices and link **** a travel insurance, as option just in case life happens (it's really their slogan). The travel insurance is supposed to protect your trips; however, when my trips got cancelled, I could not get refunded nor reschedule. Orbitz could not contact the travel insurance directly and the customer's responsible to contact the travel insurance. I submitted claims and documentations and they still won't refund my fees, which was close to $3000. I had to repurchase new tickets which costed me another $3000. This is not okay. I will never purchase anything from Orbitz again, and it seems I am not the only one who has complained about this company.

      They are scam, they will immediately decline ur refund, and later i found out that Hotel had refunded the money for our stay. While i kept telling Orbitz to go ahead and speak to hotel, the guy name ******- kept telling me that he don't want to contact the hotel, while the hotel had already emailed me saying they have issued a refund to them. But orbitz/Expedia does not want to talk about it. The guys ANURAG cannot even speak well, and keep tyring to close the chat and leave- Everything i asked they said NO, can't and is not possible- Oh BTW i am Platinum member with Orbitz... hahahahaha tooo much for being Platinum...

      I've been using a lot of booking websites, and I've never had such a bad experience as with Orbitz.What happened:I booked a car from their site, and the website needed to be refreshed, so I refreshed the page and went back to the car that I wanted and booked it however, what I didn't realize is that my start and end dates for the rental changed when the page refreshed.Why are they so bad:1) First and foremost, their customer service/support is terrible and rude! When reaching about my issue, instead of feeling or at least saying that they feel sorry about your bad experience, they just say, "Thanks for chatting with us take care and have a wonderful day." When I asked for a copy of the chat, they told me to take screenshots of it when I asked if they could do it, they simply ended the chat.2) When asked for a refund, they say that the car rental company doesn't offer a refund, but I see a charge from Orbitz and not from the rental company, and they don't want to give me a full refund even though it was an error from their site since it changed the dates on a refresh. They're blaming it on the car rental company, but I see a charge from them!! Every professional company will offer you a full refund for an error that occurred on their end, EXCEPT Orbitz.

      I have an email with confirmed cancelation confirmation from Orbitz. I have been on very long calls with Orbitz regarding a flight from ****** to ******* via ****** Airlines a month prior to our departure date. When we canceled with Orbitz, we ended up purchasing tickets direct with Korean Airlines, which were much more expensive due to the delay with Orbitz. The final call I had with the escalation team, the person stated there was no one else to escalate to. He was it. VERY hard to believe. The reason to my writing here is, we arrived to the Korean Terminal in ****** to check in, when we did, the agent told ** there were double bookings! Orbitz never canceled nor refunded our tickets! Now I am seeking legal recourse. Any advice?Thanks

      these people is a ripoff , i set everything through them, they sold me tickets on behalf of spirit , spirit cancel my flight and they offer me to buy a new ticket and keep a credit voucher , what a ugly bussines , never believed anything from them

      Booked a cruise with Celebrity thought Orbitz specifically because in the price for our suite it said that ****, Tips and Beverages were included. Weeks later when it was time to check in for the cruise we see none of this was included. I called and spent an hour on the phone talking to support and a manager to be told its not included even though I sent them an email with a picture I saved while booking that these items were listed on their site as included and that was the only reason we booked. They offered us nothing for the trouble and having those items included would cost over $875 EXTRA per person! ************** and advertising of their pricing. Beware of bait and switch pricing and advertising.

      Supremely disappointed in the poor service from a company that takes billions of dollars from consumers. After making a purchase for a round trip flight, I was not provided a receipt of my purchase. With all of the upgrades in technology, there was no link on their app or website that could easily produce a receipt for business reimbursement.I called the "customer service" number to request this, and the first associate said that he would type up an email outlining my receipt. He sent me an email stating that $46 was charged to my discover card from Orbitz.1. That is NOT the amount that was charged 2. This is not considered a receipt, but an email from an associate and my company would not reimburse me for this.After explaining this to him, he hung up on me. I called back and spoke to a much kinder person that had no ability to produce a receipt also. He had to escalate my request for a receipt. I asked him if he could transfer me to **************** and he responded that there is no customer service, and that he was it.I find that a company that takes billions of dollars from consumers should be able to at the very least invest in a customer service support team and provide an easy way for consumers to access receipts from purchases. I will send a copy of this email to Price Line, Expedia, Kayak and every other travel company that will listen to NOT FOLLOW IN ORBITZ's footsteps. I am a part of a company that employs ***** travellers that are on the road 120 days a year. I will surely share this at our next gathering.

      I had accrued $336 of Orbitz Orbucks booking travel. Was unable to redeem them on a hotel stay. Attempted to contact customer service via chat. They were unable to explain how I would redeem my Orbucks. They said it was policy to not share what hotels would accept the rewards. Asked multiple times to connect with a supervisor, was told there was not one available. You have the option to search applying Orbucks, but it will not apply the rewards. I asked where to direct a complaint multiple times, chat agent refused to provided one. If you were not paying close attention to the payment page you could easily be stuck paying for a non-refundable booking out of pocket without realizing it. The program seems to be designed to mislead customers.

      I purchased tickets for my mom and I to go home and visit family. I paid extra for the insurance. Sadly, my elderly mom was ill and not able to travel. I had to cancel our flight and was given a credit. I attempted to receive a refund but was denied because, the insurance did not cover Covid. I called to finally use these tickets and was told I would have to pay an additional **** on top of the **** I had already spent. The agent explained that the have to book them one way to get there and a one way to get home to use the tickets. Yet I could go on their website and buy new tickets for only ****** more. I asked for their corporate address and phone number to which he responded he was not allowed to provide me. When I stated that I am just going to lose my money because I am not able to pay this additional amount. He replied we are being more than fair. I have been with them for many years and have never had such a terrible experience or service. I will not use orbitz again
