      Booked flights and hotel to ******** and ********* through Orbitz back in March. I unfortunately called a phone number I found online thinking it was one of the airlines we booked trying to confirm seat assignments - turned out it was a scam and they requested my Orbitz# and the last 4 digits of my credit card. Scammer than took that information and was able to cancel our last flights with no double authentification codes while I was on the phone with Orbitz reporting them!!! - Orbitz just went ahead and canceled via their chat - even though it clearly was not my app, email or phone number on the callers line. Now we are out the difference in cost to buy new tickets (doubled our cost) and to add insult Orbitz charged us cancelation fees on each of the tickets. The Orbitz/Expedia system does not seem secure to me - as giving an itenarary and the last four digits of a cc did not seem at all a red flag to track a flight.Very dissapointed that Orbitz could not help us rebook the original flight, wave the cancellation fee or give us Orbitz dollars in a meaningful amount. Do better Expedia/Orbitz.

      I booked with on Orbitz with ************************ I booked an SUV for 4 days. I had it set so I could pick it up from ***************. Afterwards I would go and pick up the **** The man let me know it was going to be a ten-minute wait, and so I waited. The man kept my family and me waiting for 2 1/2 hours. He kept explaining that the car wasn't ready and then finally would not let me take the car. He demanded another $280 more when he was at fault for not having the car available. I then started to get frustrated, and he refused to give me the car, and I had to get cops involved. I then ended up booking on a different website with a different car service. DO NOT EVER BOOK HERE. They have terrible service and don't care for people. They scam people out of hundreds of dollars for their own faults. I then reached out to customer service and kept me waiting for 72 hours. Then explained they couldn't give me a refund. ******** company and a scam.

      I booked a stay at ***************** through Orbitz. The cancellation policy on my booking clearly stated that cancellations or no-shows after October 28, 2025, would only be charged a 30% fee. Orbitz is now refusing to honor that and is keeping 100% of my payment. I even have a screenshot of the policy as proof. This is misleading and unfair. I just want Orbitz to follow their own written policy and refund me the amount Im owed.

      I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with the experience Ive had with *************** and Orbitz. I originally booked a roundtrip flight from ***** to **** with a connection in ******. My plans changed, and I needed to remain in ****** instead of continuing to *****When I contacted customer service to make a simple adjustment , changing my return flight from ********* to ***********. I was told I would need to pay $450 in additional fees. Thats more than the cost of a brand-new ticket. Its unreasonable and frankly shameful that a company of this size would take advantage of customers in such a way, especially for a flight segment that I had already paid for.This policy and the complete lack of flexibility show a total disregard for customer loyalty and fairness. Instead of working with travelers to find a reasonable solution, United and Orbitz choose to profit from their customers misfortune and inconvenience.After this experience, I will never book another flight with *************** or through Orbitz. Its unacceptable that companies in todays world continue to treat customers this way. I sincerely hope they reflect on how they handle situations like this, because what theyre doing is not only bad service, its bad business.

      Horrible! I have tried for 4 days to get my flight credit and have been told 5 different times on how to receive flight credit. Still dont have. Each time as well they have given prices for similar flight with over $1000-$1700 difference. ******.

      I booked a round trip from ********, ** (RIC) to *********, ** (YVR) through Orbitz.Original Flight: JetBlue Airways 1282 Wed, Aug 13, 1:25 PM RIC ? 3:06 PM BOS, layover 1h 15m, then onward to YVR.On August 12, I received an email from Orbitz stating that ******* had changed my flight schedule. The email instructed me to check updated details on their help center website.However, after contacting ******* directly, I confirmed that JetBlue never made any changes the email from Orbitz was due to their system (wrong departure time never existed). As a result, Orbitz rebooked me with an unreasonable layover from 7:40 AM to 4:00 PM in ******, causing me to:Lose nearly two days of my Vancouver trip Spend unnecessary time and expenses at the airport Have my entire travel experience disrupted When I contacted Orbitz to cancel my trip, I was told I could not receive a refund for my return ticket because it was not affected. This policy makes no sense the outbound leg disruption directly impacted my ability to take the return flight.

      Thought I was getting a fair deal, till I received my **** statement.Orbitz bills in USD , Canadians BEWARE !!!!Tried to see if I could get a credit on the difference......what a joke !T

      Orbitz used to be a useful starting point to find the best deal on flights, but has really fallen by the wayside recently. As an example, I would have liked to have attached a screenshot to this review, but in it's absence I will quote, in it's entirety, the banner response I received when attempting to book a transatlantic flight for the coming Fall. "Heads up! The result for your search in now coming back with a different price. Ticket prices changed from $1,643.23 to $22,212.40. You can continue, or we can help you find other flights above." I kid you not, as noted I have the screenshot. A ******% increase.

      I had to cancel a car rental because the date of the meeting had been changed. It took me 3 calls to get it cancelled and then I was told that they would not send me a confirmation of the cancellation. Three days later it still appears as an active rental and so I called a fourth time. The man I spoke to looked it up, and said he thought it was cancelled, but couldn't send me any type of confirmation of cancellation. I haven't had problems with them before, but when you do, there isn't much help on their end. It was also a difficult conversation as the person I spoke to each time didn't speak very good English. Don't think I'll use them again.
