      Need to rebook flight. Orbitz worked w/ me and United to change dates on nonrefundable reservation. Got new booking for flights AND a refund credit for the difference in cost between flights.Consider this case to be very good service.

      Never book a car through Orbitz. We arrived at our Destination and there were no cars available. Thrifty tells us they cannot refund because we paid Orbitz. We ended up getting a car 2 days later but Thrifty and Orbitz worked the "not it" angle on the refund. Orbitz said that Thrifty only approved a small refund. ******* said Orbitz never contacted them. Someone is not telling the truth but I am the one who pays. This third- party booking is so full of loophole and irresponsibility it should be illegal. Literally, they are selling a product that is not available and then not refunding it. Absolutely an unethical business.

      Tried booking a flight from *** to ***, simple enough. The flight would go through and I would get a confirmation from United (the airline) but not a confirmation from Orbitz. Then it would cancel my flight within seconds and Orbitz would say "We have found a cheaper price for this exact flight try rebooking" Then I would click accept and it would say "Sorry the flight prices have gone back up to the original price." When I called **************** he told me it was because the flight prices are subject to fluctuate. But the price of that flight has stayed constant on their website for 4 days in a row. Tried rebooking 4 separate times same issue. When I finally got a hold of somebody who understood English well enough to help me with my problem she said I am sorry I will raise this issue with IT. But she admitted this has been a known issue. SCAM Don't waste your time with Orbitz

      Don't buy as a ********. They overcharged me in CAD but I can't prove it because they only show in USD.I've confirmed the conversation rates for the date I booked vs. the date of my return being confirmed. Sure, there's a difference, but it should be a few dollars not almost $100 CAD.Not to mention, I found the exact same flights $300 cheaper elsewhere anyway!

      Do not book through orbitz!!!! I booked a vacation package through orbitz with flights and resort included for 2 adults 2 kids. We recieved 4 seats at the airline for 2 adults 2 kids. Once we got to the resort they explained that Orbits made an error and booked the resort for 2 adults 2 infants! They stated I had to pay an additional $980.00. They told me a customer had the same issue with ******************** and they resolved it all I had to do it Call. After 2 hours on the phone I got no resolution. I was forced to pay $980.00!! I have tried calling, mailing demand letters and have had no response!! How is it that the booked the flights correct and not the resort! That is an error on their part!

      Orbitz booked ** under that wrong name at our hotel we stayed at. The hotel told us that we did not have a reservation when we showed up. It was very frustrating trying to prove that we did have a reservation and to try to get it all straightened out. How do you book a reservation under the wrong name?

      Dont waste your time or money!! I needed to change the pick up time for a rental car due to flights changing, I was advised to just wait till my pick up time(6 hour) difference. This was also more than 100 days before the reservation, they also refuse to refund once I cancelled, their customer service has gone down and I will never use them again. Priceline is the better option with great customer service!

      I purchased a refundable international airline ticket. I called to cancel it and the agent insists its nonrefundable- even though it says refundable on the ticket, This is a total SCAM. I will never buy from Orbitz again

      Orbitz does not have its clients' back! For many months in advance we had a paid booking to an airbnb in ******** that was showcased as clean and updated. Well, the apartment's only attribute was a beautiful view of Holy Loch. It is not habitable. Who wants to drag a family's luggage up to realize there's NO HOT WATER? A mildewy bathtub (with no plug) that was home to a swarm of insects. A shortage of bed linens. Switch plates fallen away from the wall. Entrance was in the rear....and no exaggeration, A WAR-TORN VISUAL of half-torn-down walls, narrow spiral stairs and a dangerous rickety ********* about to fall off. It was obvious that we couldn't stay. After driving around we finally located a *************** with openings for us. Orbitz' only effort on our behalf was to convey our disappointment to the property owner. He chose not to reimburse my son's full advance payment, saying that we could have cancelled in advance! What? Truly a scam maneuver.
