      I purchased a ******** switch on Amazon and returned it because I found a better price elsewhere. I dropped back off at *** Nov 28th and tracking shows delivered back to Amazon on 12/6. I reached out 12/11 for the status and was advised to check my email. No other information. They went on to state there was abnormal activity and I questioned it because I did not understand. The agent offered no answers other than check your email. I recovered an email that stated I needed to submit my ID for verification. Because we noticed abnormal activity on your account, we need to verify your identity before we can consider your request for a refund or replacement. We may also request additional information before granting your request.If the item was received I do not understand why I cannot get a refund. The item was still in box, never used.

      On October 21,2023 i purchased a quantity of 2 Fluke Meters. I had to sign for the box. But after i received the item there was only a quantity of 1. I contacted amazon and they told me multiple things one was to set up a return and return one item and i would be refunded for both then reorder. Then i was told to check email for instructions. It was to file police report and amazon would work with local police to help resolve the issue. I have contacted the sheriff department and they have gave me a report that i forward to amazon and they denied it. I have called several time and amazon will not work with the police so i need my refund i am asking for the entire purchase refuned because of how out of hand this has become and unprofessional. Please reply and reslove this issure

      I sent a return for an item i ordered on 11/24/23, I shipped it in via *** along with another item in which i recieved a refund for, but not the main expensive item The item was a computer processor that was $551.55 + tax (6%, MI)I contacted them today and they told me to provide a copy of my **. I'm not sure why for any reason they would need a copy of my ** for a refund. There is clearly not a security threat on my account because they are refunding it to the same card it was purchased on, also they are still letting me buy stuff. I told them i would submit my **, but then i googled it and many people are saying it might be fraudulent and if not, they can use the ** for whatever they want. I dont want to submit my ** for this anymore.I also have another return i sent back today and now this is extra concerning i wont get that refund either

      it is unacceptable to advertise prime free returns and then require private information that is by no means owed to amazon.

      I placed an order on Amazon on November 24, 2023.(Amazon.com order number: 111-4868335-2610661)I ordered the **** Fillo Luxury Pillow which is 20 inches long; however, I received a different product. I received the **** Fillo Pillow which is 17 inches long and a cheaper product.I contacted customer support and told them the above issue. I said I was happy to send back the incorrect item. They asked me to wait a moment and 10 seconds later, I received an email that my account had abnormal activity and the only way to move forward with a return or exchange was to send Amazon my government ID within 6 days. They are asking for private information. Can you help me get a refund? I would greatly appreciate your help with this. This is the email from Amazon:"Thank you for contacting us regarding your order 111-4868335-2610661.Because we noticed abnormal activity on your account, we need to verify your identity before we can consider your request for a refund or replacement.       I ordered Leupold Scope Rings through Amazon.com on November 27, 2023. My order number is # ***-7192059-5402643. The item was faulty and I followed the Amazon return process and dropped it off at the ********* store on December 1, 2023. However, *** may have lost the package since there is no movement of the Scope rings since December 1, 2023. When I called Amazon **************** and asked about the refund, the agent initiated "Suspicious Activity" protocol of my account, asked me to verify it was truly me via submission of my State ID while not helping me with the return.This is a scare tactic that Amazon.com is doing by scaring the customer while choosing not to help at all with the refund.

      amazon.com transaction placed december 5th. Item picked up from delivery spot on Dec 11th.Phone case was not brand new condition and was clearly used. Requested a refund but was told I had to provide identification which is ridiculous. Was told there was fraudulent activity on my account which I looked there was not. I have had a couple of returns in a one year period and nothing of high value. This item was only $68 plus taxes of the entire order. I complied because they refused to allow me to return the item without providing ID. Upon some ****** searches I see they are doing this frequently to customers.

      I am rejecting this response because: procedures like this requesting ID for minor returns changes nothing. The company already has all of my information there is no reason to need to submit identification. Name address credit card number should be more than enough. Also the canned auto response does nothing to allay concerns about privacy and where the information is being transmitted to and where and how long it's being stored for.

      Amazon is supposed to have an accessibilityt departyment that can screenshare and direct blind people to fix issues except most of the time, the agents dont want to help. They hang up on you because you cant see to do what they want you do do. They drop out of the phone call and never return. There is never a supervisor to talt with and magically EVERYONE is a supervisor when you ask for one. Calling the accessibility number doesnt always go to the accessibility department. Mon, Dec. 11, I had to talk to 4 agents and still my problem wasnt resolved, but at least, the last agent tried to help.The first agent at 6:40 p.m hung up on me when I was dling my best to follow her directions.. The 2nd call at 7:14 pm disappeared and never came back.My 3rd call didnt even go to the accessibility **** and he couldnt verify my accout. He had to place me on hold and try to get the accessibility **** on the line.The last agent promised to call within ***** hours but since I have already called about this problem several times iwth the same promise given but NO call back came i hold no hope. There is a problem with the voice recognition.It will stop responding to what I say first on the fire stick, then within a day the echo does it too. I have to unplug them every other day to get them working again.I've requested several tickets, that is, when i can even get an agent to not hang up on me. This is unacceptable. I deserrve to be treated with dignity just as a sighted person does. Amazon promises to help those who need it, but rarely do they deliver. I pay for my services as a prime member. Only about 1/3 of the calls are handled efficiently and productively. it's been so disheartening to be treated with such disregard by a department that is SPECIFICALLY designed for the blind, but the agents act as though they have never helped a blind person before.They will ask repeatedly, "dont you have someone who can see to help you?" That is rude, non-inclusive, AND doesnt solve anything

      I purchased two bags of dog food from Amazon on 12-5-23 with a delivery date for 12/9/23. My package came but was missing one bag of dog food. I called and spoke to Amazon representative and they told me the item should arrive on 12-11-23 and they will issue me a refund at the same time. I never received the item. I called and spoke to a ****** about my situation and he said he'll reorder the item for me but I can not get a refund. I don't like being lied to by a company I pay a membership fee for and they tell me lies. Now I have to go out and spend extra money on dog food for my pet because Amazon stole my money and did not deliver my package. I want what is owed to me and promised by Amazon.
