I bought Microsoft exchange for my new mac computer which uses Ventura operating. I have used exchange for 20 years. It is not working with my new computer. I have spent at least 8 hours with microsoft support and they keep ccalling going over problem with no solutions. I have asked for a high level support person and to date (4 weeks) i still have not had a call and i cannot use the program. I have to use my old computer.. I looked on line and my problem is not unuusal. Several other people are having same problem. Microsoft should not be selling exchange for *********** computers or they should give a warning that it often does not work. Apple tells me they have given Microsfot all the information for them to fix the problem and Microsoft has notfigured out how to program exchange with *******. I would like to return new computer but it is now past 30 days and i feel microsoft should either reimburse me or fix the problem.Business Response

Today i finally heard back from Microsoft per my complaint. They tell me they are working on the problem but problem not resolved. I have had 8 different people callinf me frorm Microsoft to work on the problem. Each one does the same thing and Microsoft does not keep records of cases so no one knows what was done with the last person. There is one man who has written an article and knows how to fix the problem but he is researcher and cannot work with me. He has to refer me to someone else, I have a case number from him and i have told Microsoft i am not working with ant one else or accepting any calls from Microsoft that do not relate to this case number as this case number has to do iwth Microsoft 365 working with *********** and all the other people calling do not know how to work with Mac.....they only know windows.....Here in lies the problem
I FEEL MICROSOFT SHOULD MAKE CLEAR THAT MICROSOFT 365 BUSINESS STANDARD DOES NOT WORK WITH *********** AND THEY CANNOT SUPPORT THE PRODUCT. APPLE SHOULD BE MADE AWARE OF THIS TOO AS I HAVE A BRAND NEW MAC THAT I CANNOT USE AND CANNOT RETURN AS IT IS PAST 30 DAYS....I HAVE BEEN WIATING FOR AN ANSWER FROM MICROSOFT FOR 6 WEEKS. I THOUGHT THEY COULDD RESOLVE PROBLEM.

The case is not closed and nothing has been resolved. i attached my most recent email from microsoft dated 10/30/23. I do not think they have a fix for the problem of Outlook working on the Mac. It has now been 2 months or more of emails telling me they are working on the problem and in the mean time i have this new computer that i cannot use. It is far past the returning period as i kept thinking Microsfot would solve the problem. It is a mess
Microsfot should tell Apple to tell buyers that Apple does not work with Outlook on the Imac. Had i known that i would never have bought the computer.
I am stuck but i would like Microsfot to be honest with their consumers and make sure buyers of Macs know that it is not compatiable with Microsoft.
Hopefully Microsoft can find a fix

Dear BBB I signed up for a trial for the Microsoft Office 365 program. I had planned to cancel the subscription before the end of the trial period. Every since Microsoft closed its office due to the ***** pandemic it has been impossible to contact a Microsoft representative. I am unable to contact them via email. I answered the security questions regarding my account and was unable to contact them. I haven't used the Microsoft 365 software program. I would like a FULL refund of approximately $124 which was charged to my credit card. In addition, I wrote Microsoft a letter and sent it to their office in ******* ***** and I DIDN'T receive a response. When you call their office it says to go to their website but you can't contact anyone because of their outrageous security features. Please help me resolve this issue. Thank you. Microsoft is reviewing whether they will be able to issue me a check for the refund amount.
I didn't feel comfortable providing all my personal information through an email or phone call. In addition, Microsoft should have my credit card information and address on file. I'm NOT sure why they need a confirmation of my personal information.
please keep this case OPEN.

I am rejecting this response because:Although it has been over 90 days it's NOT my fault that it was impossible to reach a representative with Microsoft. Every since COVID it has been impossible to reach Microsoft. I'm very unsatisfied with this decision because I didn't use the product and I can't understand WHY Microsoft can't make a ONE TIME exception to satisfy a customer
Please reconsider your decision.

Microsoft enrolled me in auto renewal for microsoft ultimate after I redeemed a microsoft ultimate gift card. They then billed my card without permission for 3 months. I contacted support and they only refunded a fourth month of unauthorized billing after I missed the first 3. Support stated that I had to have a card on file when I used the gift card however this was not the case with the 12 month ultimate gift card I used today. I dont think this is the true reason.Business Response

Microsoft needs LIVE customer support via phone. They double charged me last year. I was unable to get a live person on the phone. I never got my money back. They double charged me this year $69.99 (on 9/8/23 and again on 9/9/23) and STILL you have no live customer support to resolve this ongoing issue.I am one person. I live alone. I have one Microsoft account. In the Microsoft system it shows as only charging me once. But I just spent an hour on the phone with my bank to dispute the charge.**Both of the charges are recurring charges. So I need to speak with Microsoft not only to resolve this but also to make sure I am not double charged again next year. I don't want to have to spend another 1.5 hours of my life on their mistake.THE NEED LIVE PEOPLE ANSWERING THEIR PHONES. I NEED A REFUND.I NEED TO NOT BE DOUBLE CHARGED AGAIN NEXT YEAR.Thanks!Business Response

On September 13th Microsoft *********** charged me $****** and then attempted to charge me a second ******. I have no account other than personal which I do not pay for. I have attempted to call them, but they direct me to the website for help. You need a business account to receive help that way of which I do not have. I have not authorized any recurring payments. I have no other recourse other than to do a chargeback which I would prefer not to do as it holds up my money. It really seems like a run around. I have no clue what my card was used for and I would like to know IF I paid you whyBusiness Response

Microsoft office user. Random charges to ******************** monthly showed up on my bill. The company uses a series of prompts, a continual suggestion to pursue online resolution, and finally when you get to the actual area for assistance-it's a 30 to 60 minute wait. Random monthly billing charges showing up & they're not consistent in amount. Cancelling it on my end could impact my business email. I will dispute with CC company. Crucial company that's irresponsibly making consumer's pay for their reduced **** service in time and in money.Business Response
