    The BBB has received numerous complaints from consumers that allege paying a large fee to this firm for EIN numbers and the company claiming to be with the IRS.  Online searches for this company website show that the website is based in Iceland and not in the United States.  BBB strongly encourages consumers to visit the irs.gov website directly for any assistance in obtaining a EIN number.  Consumers report their bank accounts being charged hundreds of dollars repeatedly for fees and providing SSN, passport information and other forms of ID that have then been compromised.  To date, we have not received any responses to the complaints on file.

    This company is predatory and has zero remorse and understanding for small business owners. My fianc and I started a small business in the wellness space to help others in our community. His assistant was helping us with paperwork in filing our EIN and mistakenly utilized this site thinking that it was part of the process in applying for an EIN. We were charged $250 for an EIN on 9/29/22. We immediately felt like this was a red flag due to nature of the email we received and immediately contact the company requesting a refund. We received a generic email and a denial for a refund. We understood this was partially the mistake of our assistant and would have been okay with a partial refund so we sent a follow up email. We didn't receive any correspondence after our follow up email The links on the initial confirmation email all lead to viral websites. Please BEWARE and do not pay for this. They are scammers. Plain and simple. We are seeking legal counsel and have been advised to report to the ****

    Company charged me once under billing name of *********** for $120 on March 22nd and again under billing name of Tax ID Assistant for $250. This site represents itself as if it was a governmental agency to let new business owners wet up a federal EIN. On March 22nd, in response the only thing I got back from them after filling out the forms was an email saying I'd have to contact the *** directly. I want these charges dropped and I have contacted ****************** my credit card company - to stop payment for these charges.

    This site is posing as a government site for setting up a EIN tax id number. I wasnt paying close enough attention to the details of the site and submitted all of my identity information including social security number and all of my contact info. I thought paying the $249 was required to get my state tax id number and was duped into thinking it was a legit site.

    On March 13, 2022 I went to register for an EIN as I have done several times before. I know that obtaining an EIN number is free so when providing my info (including SS#) and went to next page to only be asked to pay a fee I immediately knew this was a phishing website. I did not continue and closed window. My only concern is in regards to the information provided prior to moving on to payment page. I have tried contacting business and I am waiting for a response. This webpage is nearly identical to the *** webpage should be the number one reason why the webpage is taken down and lawsuit should soon follow. Please advise on actions to be taken.

    This website poses as a government site and comes up first due to having the proper key words. This is a total scam but in all honesty, they may have very well have given me an EIN number but it's nothing you can't do for free on the REAL IRS website. Please, please, please take your time before send your personal info through a website. I made a huge mistake, please learn from me. As for what resolution do I want???.....to go back in time about 2 hours and NEVER give my personal info to an unknown entity.

I was able to get my money back thanks to filing a stop-payment with my bank. Only now they have my personal information and theres no way to get that back. The problem is that this type of fraudulent and deceptive business is allowed to continue. How many complaints are required before something is done? Im genuinely curious.

    This ****************** themselves with banks, TurboTax, etc. They have a deceptive E-Mail address at ******************************. Of course when you enter *** in ******* their algorithm brings up this fraudulent site. My Social Security number has been harvested as well as the new ***. They also have other personal information they have you fill out. I have become used to government agencies charging big fees, such as getting a passport, immigration, etc., so while I swallowed hard, I figured $329 was what the *** charged. However, they went one stop further and debited $429 out of my checking account, so further fraud. I was stupid. I always say I am too careful to get caught in a fraud, but they got me with the ****************************** website with ***-ein-tax-id.com. I missed the lack of a .gov ****** as I was rushed. I am of course nearing 69 and my brain has lost a bit. I have cancelled the debit card they used and will cancel the *** number with the *** so they do not use the number to start another scam business. As their rating is F, I suspect you do not have much luck with them. I am sending you a few of their documents as well as a screen print of the transaction for money, which has an entirely different name

    I started filling out the form to obtain an EIN and after entering my SSN I stopped to check that it was a .gov website. As soon as I realized it was not .gov. I closed the web browser. However I am concerned that the company has my name and SSN. They are clearly fraudulent. I want an assurance from the company that they will not use my SSN in a fraudulent manner.

    I am trying to apply for an EIN for my family ranch and was not paying attention clicked on the first "sponsored" link. After submitting all of my and my husband's personal information they asked for $250 which was a red flag to me. Unfortunately, I had already submitted all my personal information. I am reporting this scam site and also trying to get my personal data purged from their system.

    2/24/25 I paid 299 for a service that is free of charge on the *** website. When I reached out to the provider I was denied a refund. I wouldnt have minded paying the monies if the *** also charged.

    Realized as I was clicking send, that this is a SCAM!!! I thought was on the official site to obtain an EIN number instead this place charged $247. I immediately emailed to cancel order and have yet to receive a response. I also called and left a voice message. There was no option to speak with a human at the time of my call. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company and canceled the card I used. This is not ethical.
