1 starBAD BAD REFUND POLICY and EXTRA CHARGES!It was Friday and I needed a room for Saturday night. I found the hotel near my destination and called, what I thought was the hotel (but it was Reservation Counter) to book the room. Online the rooms were $139/night. I booked it and ****, who talked so fast he was hard to hear as he went over the terms - but I did catch that the charge would be $199. I stopped him and asked where the extra $60 came from - again, talking faster than a person can hear, he rattled off a 'list' of charges that I never heard of or was ever charged for before. Told him that is too much. He said they have a hotel in the same town that is cheaper (here I still thought I was talking to the hotel or hotel chain). He described the hotel and gave it a good review so I booked a room even though I never heard of the place before. After I hung up, I looked up the hotel for its proximity to where I needed to be Saturday, and discovered the hotel doesn't have an elevator- I was just in an accident 1.5 weeks ago and need an elevator to get to anything above ground floor for now. I called Reservation Counter (still thinking its the hotel or chain's reservation line) and was put on hold for 20+ minutes (when you call to book, they answer right away). ***** finally answered and I explained my problem - told her I just booked but have to cancel & needed to look at the other hotels amenities before I could rebook a room- as I needed to make sure the hotel worked for my current situation. ***** said there is NO refund at all, for any reason, and then told me she can cancel for a $15 fee, then backtracked and said there is no cancellation fee. She would not even let me change hotels. When I asked for her full name or something like an employee ID, she refused. When I asked for the companies address she told me to look it up online. Now I am stuck and hoping I can even use this room. THESE COMPANIES SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO IMPERSONATE THE ACTUAL HOTELReservation Counter, LLC

1 starIf you are trying to get a refund from this company, you will not. The call center is in ************* and they are trained to give you the run around for weeks on end. They are a complete fraud. it doesnt matter if your claim is legitimate. Yes, they pretend to be the hotel you are trying to reach, yes they book out horrible hotels and lie about the star ratings. Just be careful. Im going to put a claim with my credit card now to see if they will provide a refund.Reservation Counter, LLC

1 starThese people are full scammers !! I called a web site phone number listed at a website for Holiday Inn Express in *************** .. When they answered they pose as the actual Holiday Inn site or front desk .. They take all information for the reservation and at the end by having routine charges of additional total of $ ***** + dollars and say this is customary and the Holiday Inn usual charges !! When checking in at the front desk we are informed this was not the actual Holiday Inn site and was intercepted by Reservation Desk ! Non refundable .. called Reservation Desk - no apologies no refund as they report this is no refundable per Holiday Inn Express !! This gives this Holiday Inn Express a lovely hotel and kind front desk a bad review and experience . The Reservation Desk are a scam and have staff you can poorly understand what they are saying and talk very fast !Reservation Counter, LLC

1 starI'm not even sure where to start. This company is such a fraud and a total scam. It's so frustrating we spent 3 hours dealing with them on our vacation. Somehow, we thought we were booking directly with the hotel and they are able to make it seem like you are. But in reality, you are dealing with a third party company who does not have current information about the hotels they are booking for. The representative gave us a rate at the beginning of the call and by the end of the call when she charged our card it was for more than the original quoted rate. I spent the next 3 hours trying to get a refund only to have this company continue to put me on hold and transfer me to different representatives and supposed support staff who were completely useless. At one point during our call, this representative quoted me a rate at another hotel in the area (we assumed they were affiliated) that we found out later is permanently closed. Thank God we didn't book that room because we would have no hotel and would be out hundreds of dollars. The representative promised several things that were not true about the hotel we did book, including amenities, parking rates, and as mentioned previously the room rate. The customer service of this company is the worst I've ever experienced. They literally kept me in the hold queue for hours and when it was my turn they would just put me at the back of the queue again. Once they have your credit card number, forget ever getting a refund of any kind or canceling your reservation. Such a disappointment that a company treats its customers this way with no care whatsoever. Really was maddening to have this experience on our vacation. We will be disputing the hotel charges out of principal. Do not take a chance with this company!!Reservation Counter, LLC

1 starThese guys are scammers with the ethics of a graverobber. They do not tell you they charge you upfront and, in my case, purposely booked more days than I requested. I did not notice until I saw my CC statement. Also, they acted as if they were the hotel. I tried to call customer service and was on hold for an hour. They acted as if they were going to help me get my money back for the three extra days, they charged me for. Instead, I received a canned email saying they were correct, and the hotel policy did not allow a refund!Reservation Counter, LLC

1 starI called to reserve a hotel not realizing it was a second party operation. Was puzzled at the ***** charge, thought it was a security deposit as they did not specify it was for their service. The reason I called instead of booking online was because I needed to tell them I have a dog traveling with me. Plans changed, next day I cancelled reservation and they would not refund that *****. I filed a dispute with **** and **** cleared it off my account immediately. An Indian call center should have been a tip off.Reservation Counter, LLC

1 starThis company is terrible. They charged me more than the hotel rate. Charged me a $100.00 fee for nothing. Then would only issue a refund two weeks before travel for 3/4 of room charges. I called hotel and they will issue refund up until time of stay. This company is essentially a fraud in my opinion. They stole $140.00 from me and provided no service whatsoever. 1 starI too was taken by this company. Like many others who wrote reviews, I thought I was speaking with the hotel. The agent assured me I was getting a two bedroom suite with bathroom, and kitchenette. When I get to the hotel, it's a two bed room, with bathroom, microwave & fridge. When I went back to the front desk, they informed me they didn't even have any such rooms like what I had requested. Since I was already there and cancellation at that time would have cost me the entire amount, I kept the room, but had to get another room for my traveling partner. Since I was there for my daughter's wedding, I didn't have time to call at that time, but now they are saying they can't give a refund since I stayed at the hotel. The thing is I'm asking for the refund of the additional amount I had to pay for the additional room. They have told me that they verified the agent misled me about the type of room I was getting and yet, they do not think that they have any reason to make it right. This company is a joke and based on the number of complaints on this website, and the number of people they have wronged, maybe a class action lawsuit is in order. They do not deserve a star, but since you can't post the review without giving a rating, which is stupid, I have given them one, but only so the review could be posted.Reservation Counter, LLC

1 starI looked for a specific Hotel not linked to a 3rd party. I went into the ( The Manhattan In The ************ ) website. I don't know how but they found a way to fake that they wore the Hotel. I thought I was speaking to the Hotel directly. I made a booking thinking they wore the Hotel.I went in for check in and went to the room. The room I was staying in Was having major construction. I immediately went to the counter to cancel my stay. That's when I found out that I booked with ReservationCounter.com ... I cancel my stay and after a long argument with the representative of the refund department. They greed to REFUND MY PURCHASE. $500. THEY SAID IT WOULD BE REFUNDED TO MY ACCOUNT IN 9 DAYS.9 days has past and I called for the refund. THEY JUST TOLD ME TO S**** AND THEY WILL NOT REFUND ME THE $500. THIS PEOPLE ARE THIVES. ********. BE CAREFUL. THEY REFUSE TO REFUND ME $500 FOR A BOOKING THAT I DID NOT STAY BECAUSE OF CONSTRUCTION NOISE. MY WIFE HAD A MIGRAINE THAT DAY. 1 starOn the date of June 3 2024, I went online to book a hotel room for the dates of 06/07/ 2024. I had chosen a hotel and the phone number was on the hotel advertisement. I thought I was calling directly to the hotel, since I do not use third party web sites. He did not identify that he was a third party site. He talked me out of the hotel I requested , telling me that it was 10 miles from the airport. I believed him and went with the hotel he suggested, which turned out to be ***************** , *******. He gave me a price of $152.46. He repeated to me multiple times that my check in time was 11:00 pm on June 7, 2024 and my check out time was 6pm on June 8, 2024, and the price was $152.46 ,all inclusive with shuttle service to and from the airport. He sent me a confirmation and asked if I received it. I told him I received it and said I would read it back to him. He said " no don't read it back to me " He said he didn't have time to wait for me to read it back to him! He read me the last 4 digits and I said yes that was the last 4 digits , and we hung up. Within the same hour I realized I didn't read the confirmation because he had stopped me. I opened the confirmation and found that he did not give me the 6pm checkout time ,as agreed upon. The confirmation said I had to be out by 11:00 am. I called back and told them that he tricked me and was told that I would have to pay double if I wanted a 6 pm checkout time. I told them to give me my money back and cancel my reservation. They said I would have to wait 72 hours for them to review my call. I called multiple times , but in the end they would not give me my money back. On the 7th I had no more money for the hotel room , so I went to the hotel, because I had nowhere else to sleep. I was told that my reservation was canceled and they would not give me a refund. By that time my blood pressure was sky high . I went into the parking lot and was so shaken that I began vomiting uncontrollably. I slept in my car.Reservation Counter, LLC
