      booked a hotel that was non refundable prepaid but when we got there the rooms were infested with cockroaches. The booing company refused to refund and so did the Quality Inn (ha ha what a name should be c*** ***** inn)

      Hello,I booked a room for two nights on June 8, 2025 with whom I was led to believe I was talking directly with Holiday Inn Express, ****** (*******). The reservation was for two nights on Friday September 12, 2025 and Saturday September 13, 2025.I asked the agent several times was he with Holiday Inn Express and he said that indeed he was. I was promised a fixed rate with the hotel for an event that I was attending and again the agent on the phone line and said that the rate adjustment would be made at the time of check in and he refused to give me my promised rate.The agent never said anything about ********* who the booking reservation was made through. Holiday Inn Express was paid USD $275.31 for a room with a king size bed for two nights, yet my third party (who also was on the phone and witnessed this conversation) was charged $380.56 on their credit card.

      Zero stars. Same story here thats repeated through one thousand+ negative reviews and complaints stated on the BBB website alone (plus hundreds of others shown on the comments section of the Reservation Desk instagram and Reddit) . I had no idea I was booking on this third party site, as it was misleadingly disguised as the hotel I booked. I booked the hotel on the wrong night and within one minute of noticing this mistake, I called the hotel who couldnt help since they informed me it was a third party site I booked through. Confused and frustrated, I then called reservation desk who was short, rude and unhelpful to say the least. They had zero concern for my minor dilemma I wanted to fix within the five minutes of doing it and said there was nothing they can do and that they will not refund me or modify my date. As everyone else on this thread has complained about, they mentioned no managers nor supervisors were available to help and would call tomorrow and when I asked to repeat the number back to me I gave him to call me, it was wrong, shocker. Never have I experienced this kind of disrespect from customer service and lack of accountability. I emailed their support desk twice and havent heard any updates. If ******* is around, who seems to be the only professional thats employed at Reservation Desk, as shes the only one who responds to negative instagram and BBB comments, please help. I have already tried to escalate the issue through support@ and receiving no answers so let me know your direct contact to help

      We thought were connecting the hotel directly but didnt realize our mistake until we got the confirmation. We knew it was non-refundable, but on the hotel website they gave us one day to cancel. These lowlifes dont give any time to review our booking and cancel. They also include a service fee they dont tell you up front. Looking back I should have caught it when they didnt seem that concerned about my membership number asking what exact name the membership was under and saying yep thats it. I have since seen a lot of complaints about this scam from numerous people including going so far as to say the government has shut them down only to come back with a different name. We have confirmed the reservation but its over a hundred dollars more than reservations going directly through the hotel plus we wont be getting any points. They should be looked into again.

      I had a terrible experience with the Reservation Counter and would never recommend using them. I thought I was booking a hotel directly through Hiltons Home2 Suites website, but it turned out to be the Reservation Counter. I realized immediately and cancelled the reservation within one minute. I even received a cancellation confirmation email.Despite this, they still charged my account $585.71 plus a $17.99 service fee. When I contacted them, customer service told me the ******************** was nonrefundable, which made no sense since I cancelled right away. After weeks of frustration, overdraft fees from my bank, and multiple phone calls, I finally reached a representative who required me to contact the hotel manager to prove my cancellation was real. Only then did the Reservation Counter agree to issue a refund.If I hadnt fought for it, they would have kept my money. Their practices are misleading and unfair. Be very cautious when booking onlinedouble-check that you are on the official hotel website, not a third-party reservation site.

      They refused to refund any of the charges when I attempted to cancel my reservation. I read that the service fee was not refundable, but not ALL charges. As they used the ****** logo in their promotion. I thought I was booking with ******. Very deceitful.

      I mistakenly booked a hotel reservation, believing I had the actual hotel website after realizing it was not due to my employers requirements we canceled the reservation in less than five minutes. I also called immediately and spoke with the first representative, who said his supervisor would reach out to the hotel but made no promise they would issue a refund. When I contacted the hotel directly, they explained clearly and without a doubt that they could not issue refunds for third-party bookings and that ReservationDesk.com would have to handle it.The second representative at reservationdesk.com customer service line I spoke with assured me he had bumped it up to his manager and specifically told me, Dont call us, wait for me to call you Friday. Friday came and went with no phone call. Instead, I received an email saying their manager had just then contacted the hotel and that true manager would be calling me back in five ****** the 20thwith what the hotel said. Today, I received yet another email, this time stating the hotel would not honor a refund, so ReservationDesk.com couldnt help us.This is absolutely appalling. A reservation canceled within minutes of being made should never be this complicated. Instead of accountability, I was met with repeated runarounds, empty promises, and misleading ************* make it worse, ReservationDesk.com appears at the top of search results when youre trying to book directly with a hotel. Thats incredibly misleading and likely the reason this mistake happened in the first place.The lack of customer service, integrity, and willingness to help in this situation is shocking. I will never use ReservationDesk.com again and strongly urge others to avoid them at all costsbook directly with the hotel instead

      Total Scam!!! Do not use this booking service. I ******* the name of the hotel that I wanted to book and this website popped up and I mistakenly thought it was the actual hotel that I was communicating with. I booked a Standard King Room and called back to upgrade the room and they informed me that they do not modify reservations and that I could not cancel the reservation as it is non-refundable. I wasn't informed of either of those policies upon booking but they were unwilling to accommodate any changes. I was going to spend more money with them by upgrading and they still would not make any modifications. Completely unhelpful and rude. I called the actual hotel and they were very apologetic that this happened but unfortunately couldn't do anything to help the situation. I would not recommend using this booking service. Call the hotel directly! I would rate them 0 stars if I could.

      TOTAL SCAM!!! BEWARE!! My husband made hotel reservations and called the call that showed up on hotel page which was this place Reservation Counter and he wasn't aware it was a 3rd party, he made the reservation through. So once we arrived at the hotel to check in, we was informed that there was a water break, and that if we check in they can't tell us when the water will be back on. We was told that we can get a refund due to the hotel having no water. So I canceled my room and the hotel refunded my money back to them so they can refund me but they don't want to give my money back. I keep getting the run around about receiving my refund. They keep telling me 5-7 days and I call again a few days later then they say 8-12 days .

      Total scam. Led me to believe I was talking directly with the hotel. I had to cancel, and they would not follow their own cancellation policy even for a partial refund. ******. If I could give a negative 5 stars, I would. Additional information: Don't be fooled by the kind response offered to these reviews or in your email. The outcome is the same as it was when I first asked them to honor their cancellation policy. They will not. Don't believe them if they say there is a full refund before a certain date and a cancellation fee after a certain date. You are not getting a refund. They claim it is the fault of the hotel, but the hotel is not the ones who send you the confirmation with the cancellation policy at the bottom. When you write or call, they pretend to care, but the answer is always the same: ********** said no.' ********* never offered a refund of any kind. That is why I booked with these scammers. Don't throw away your money, pay the extra at the hotel, or you will be sorry.
