1 starI made a reservation at *********** in from 5/25-2/27 due to medical appointments at the I thought I was dealing directly with Wyngate, but a web site had apparently diverted me to Reservation Counter. I had to cancel due to appointment being cancelled., I notified Reservation Counter the same day of the reservation via email and then call Wyngate to ensure that it was cancelled. They told me they did not have a reservation for me. When I called them, they claimed that the hotel did not do cancellations but when I called the hotel they stated that reservations can be modified or changed within a specific time frame. I called the hotel back to follow up with cancellation policy and they stated that I never had a reservation. The amount in dispute is about $232.Reservation Counter, LLC

1 star(the hotel) is in place of the name of the hotel where I stayed---RC is absolutely horrible and engages in what I believe to be fraudulent practices. I mistakenly called them believing I called (the hotel) and when I asked the phone agent, she proceeded to tell me that I had called (the hotel). The agent rushed me to get the reservation and my information for the booking, which I found odd. Then when I asked her if the meeting would come from (the hotel)...she said yes. The whole time the agent acted like she was from (the hotel)...I should've known better, but I was in a rush. I received the confirmation, and it says "Reservation Counter--(the hotel)." I am confused because when you call they do not say the name of the company, so if you ask questions, they just say whatever to appease you to get the booking. When I called back to cancel or try to remedy the situation, fully prepared to pay the service fee, they kept sending me to customer service and the call would cut off. At a certain point it appeared to be intentional. I then call the hotel where I am staying and they cannot find my booking from the confirmation number RC gave me because it was bogus. Luckily the hotel looked up my name and gave me the correct confirmation. Why would RC give me a fake confirmation code that (the hotel) could not look up? I was able to stay at my hotel, but this is warning avoid this booking agency at all costs. They are nice and quick to get your information, but as soon as you catch on to their game and request a refund/cancellation they play games. Beware...RC pops up ahead of the actual hotel website which is where I made the mistake. DO NOT BOOK WITH RC, they scammed me once, I hope it does not happen to anyone else.Reservation Counter, LLC

1 starI booked a hotel in NH thinking I was on their site, but it turned out to be Reservation Counter (RC). I needed to change the room to 2 beds so I made the change with a new charge and was switched to a customer service line to cancel old reservation and didn't get through so now I have 2 credit card charges!! I called the hotel directly and learned the room RC booked was one bed. The hotel owner rebooked the room. Next, I find out the room is less if I book directly with hotel. I called RC and cancelled the room and they were going to charge me a $15 and 17.99 fee. I told them would call the Attorney General's office so he took off the $17.99 fee. I will be calling my credit card company to follow up. This company deceives consumers.Reservation Counter, LLC

1 starExcited that my son is graduating high school, I jump online to book a room for the weekend. The site looks just like the hotel site, except its not. This site charges a service fee of almost 20%. I thought Reservation Counter was the hotels actual reservation system.I didnt realize that it wasnt the hotel sight and that the service fee did not go towards my hotel fees until after booking and receiving and email from Reservation Counter. As soon as I did(less than 5 minutes after booking) I called customer service and was told there is no way that I could get a refund and that I should have read the terms of the service agreement. When asked what did I pay the company for and what benefit did I get from using them, the rep said I paid for their website and customer service, wow. I would advise all to stay away from this company, because they provide zero value to the experience and only take your money and talk to you rudely when you question them. I feel like this is a back room internet money grab, and theres nothing that I can do about it.Reservation Counter, LLC

1 starReservation Counter is a scam. They come up in Google search results ahead of the hotel's own website. Minutes after mistakenly reserving through RC, I discovered that the room rate (same class of room) offered through the hotel was $161 rather than the $282 offered through RC. Site did not allow me to cancel even though it was minutes later. Customer service refused to cancel, while acknowledging that it had only been a few minutes. 1 starThey are quick to take a call a create a reservation. I purchased the insurance. Tried canceling via the email confirmation under manage my reservations. This did not allow me to cancel. Tried calling multiple times two different numbers on Reservation Counter and the number for provided through the email. Don’t get a live person when you’re trying to cancel called back and told them I wanted to create a reservation. Got a live person couldn’t cancel my reservation instead transferred me to a different department to cancel. I have phone records showing that I’ve called multiple times on hold for 45 minutes to an hour at a time still not able to cancel. . Spoke with supervisor prior to the partial refund deadline and he’s telling me I get zero dollars refunded. The email states that I’ll get a partial refund before 12 AM hotel time it is before 12 AM hotel time. Agent told me that his policy shows that she got a partial refund. Manager states That when he shows that I don’t get a refund. My email confirmation shows that I should get a refund. Don’t ever use this place to create a hotel reservation. They are very nice and helpful when creating a reservation and looking for a hotel. Just hopefully you don’t have any issues that you run into because they are no help.Reservation Counter, LLC

Hi, Ive sent multiple emails yesterday 5/10/23 to the email you have referenced. I did finally speak with a manager for a refund yesterday. But he still told me he could not give me a refund because the email of my reservation where it shows the time frame that I could receive a refund or a partial refund was different from the policy. He was looking at so he would have to talk to accounting. He told me someone would be contacting me today 5/11/23 about this issue. I have not received a return phone call nor have I received a response to any of my emails. Send.April B.

1 starHORRIBLE!!!!! The Reservation Counter, LLC uses unethical and scam-like practices. Failed to deliver service as promised and refused to refund charges. I would not recommend this business to anyone and I hope that an investigation is launched due to similar problems and complaints against this company on this and various other sites. How can they call themselves a business by taking money without providing a service? Its more like a collection company just taking hard working customers money.
