      Be very wary using this service.Was not told by reservationist on call that there would be a booking fee. Was not told credit card would be charged at time of call for a booking 4 months later (Actually asked that credit card not be charged)Unable to get anyone to answer calls, on hold for long time, at multiple numbers Reservations were made with specific requests - pet friendly- which were said to be honored but, in fact were not.

      I called to book at La Quinta ************ by ************************. When I called, he insisted to tell me that I had reached the hotel. I work for a government agency, and I was planning to travel for work. I asked to obtain a room at the government rate. He said that I would get that rate, I asked him multiple times to make sure that I would receive this rate (I later found out that was a lie). Thinking that everything was good because I am speaking to someone "connected" to this hotel I went along and booked my stay from 6/19/23 to 6/22/23. I believe this company is absolutely horrible and engages in what I believe to be fraudulent practices. I also experienced being rushed to complete the booking which I know look back at and know why. When I received my confirmation, which they texted me, another sketchy thing, it came from "Reservation Counter" but when he answered the phone, he did not say he was with Reservation Counter. Unfortunately, my training was canceled on 6/13/23. I called first thing in the morning to attempt to cancel my reservation. Their "cancellation policy" has nothing to do with the Hotels policy at all. I had until 6/13/23 by 1:00AM to cancel!!! They were absolutely unhelpful and did NOTHING to work with me! All they kept saying is that because of their cancellation policy they can't refund me. I tried to then reschedule it. Thinking I could arrange to go for another training 2 weeks later. Again, they kept talking about their "cancellation policy" and the only way that they can reschedule is if they cancel it and it was past the cancelation date and time. I spoke to the "manager" ****, and he was absolutely horrible. He didn't even care to listen to what I had to say, he just recited their "Cancellation Policy" DO NOT BOOK WITH RESERVATION COUNTER! I will be writing a review in every platform that I can to make sure no one books through this scam company and goes through this! If I could give 0 stars I would!

      If you make a mistake, they are 100% unwilling to help you. I didn't even realize I was on their web site and made a reservation for a hotel in ******** ****** and got the wrong one. I had started out on the marriot.com website, and don't know how I got switched over to reservationdesk.com. I didn't realize I had the wrong hotel until I printed the reciept (Wanted Courtyard by Marriot Downtown, and got Courtyard by ******************** As soon as I saw that I called Reservationdesk.com to correct and they said "Sorry, you agreed to a non-refundable payment". I called the Marriot that I had the booking for and they said since it is not for today, no problem they allow cancelations made within 24 hours. I was within 1 hour. But Reservationdesk.com would not change anything. Very disappointed and frustrated!!! Went to a supervisor and got no help. Same story. Your money is gone. either keep that reservation or not but not refund, no change of reservation. I had cancelled the reservation with ********, then finding I would still be charged by ReservationDest.com, I called Marriott back and they restored my reservation. Marriott very helpful. Reservationdesk.com - totally useless. Don't know how they poached me off of ********* website. Star rating 0 (really zero but lowest option is one)

      a fraud...you think the communication is with the hotel only to find 'Reservation Counter' has charged a non refundable service fee to your credit card with no disclosure. stay away from this outfit.Not allowed to leave a zero star rating with a review.

      If I could give them 0 I would. This place is fraudulent. They led me to believe that I was making a reservation with the motel. I asked them if it was the place that I called and they said yes. I would not have known it if my sister hadn' t booked the same room at a cheaper price with the motel. I don't feel like this review is enough for their scam, I think that they should be procecuted.

      I did not know you could not cancel!! I had something come up that made it impossible to make my reservation. They wanted medical records showing why!!! The hotel said thats a scam! They will not give my money back. Bad business!!!

      I did a google search for the exact hotel I was searching out and somehow reservation counter got their data to pop up above the real hotel. The language they used in their "AD" was misleading consumers to think they were in communication with the actual hotel.
      I used a phone service - a call - I asked direct if this was the Madison Concourse hotel- they did not say NO. They said something generic like they were an 'after hours service.'
      I was attempting to book a GOVERNMENT room rate and they were telling me this was not possible. My government rate was $90/night. Their rate was $250/night.
      Thinking i was dealing direct with the hotel, I booked the night thinking I was just working with someone new at the hotel. I said i would switch the rate the next day. I didn't want to lose the room.
      After I analyzed the email confirmation I saw that I was NOT dealing with the hotel directly.
      When I cancelled the reservation, they left behind a non-refundable $15 cancel fee.
      They mentioned NONE of these fees the night before when I was talking with them.
      They were NOT HONEST when i mentioned how i needed to be dealing with the hotel directly. They gave me some run-around answer.
      I was scammed.
      I got my reservation re-booked the next day at a lower price, but their "FEE" stayed.

      My reservation got canceled within a minute of booking. I didnt cancel it and did not receive a cancellation email until AFTER I called and told them. I needed the room!!! Took my money and did not offer a resolution. They said it was non refundable but I didnt cancel the room!!!! Extremely disappointed.

      Last week I was trying to book a reservation at the Grand Stay Hotel in ** ******, Wisconsin.
      However, when I called what I thought was a direct connection, I reached Reservation Counter. The agent there could not find the rate that I had previously found for the Grand Stay but switched me to the Radisson in ** ******.
      Interestingly, within minutes of making the Radisson reservation, I was able to find the original rates at the Grand Stay and booked my room there. I immediately cancelled my Radisson reservation. However, subsequently it was brought to my attention that such reservation was non refundable (guess at 79, I am hard of hearing.
      However, the Reservation Counter URL advertisement indicates no cancellation fee and the best rates. Both assertions have not been true for me. I currently have lost $797.12 due to Reservation Counter not living up to its promises.
