1 starI made a reservation thru Resevation Counter a third party for a one night stay at a Hampton Inn in Ridgefield Park, NJ., for 3/6/24 check out on 3/7/24 on Janurary 7th 2024 and asked if the price I was given $150.56 included a cruise package that allowed me to stay one night leave my vehicle during my time on the cruise and also shuttle my family to and from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal in NYC . To confirm my reservation at the hotel I was told that they mislead me on the price that it did not include the cruise package. I immediately called back the company and was told by another employee that the person who took my reservation should’ve never told me that the price included the cruise package so I asked to have my reservation canceled due to false pretense and was told they had to go thru their support team to review my case before I could cancel, after not hearing for almost two weeks I called them back then I was told that I had to call the hotel to cancel my reservation which they did not tell in the first place in order to review my case to refund my money. I called the hotel front desk to cancel my reservation and was given a confirmation number to give Reservation Counter this information. They then told me it would be another 7-10 days before they would make a decision. On 1/22/24 I got an email from Travelpass.com denying our refund, who is Travelpass.com. My initial conversation with them was recorded so how to they say I can’t get my refund even thou she told me the price included the cruise package? To be clear I did book this reservation based on non cancellation but again I was given false information in doing so. The best outcome for me is to get my refund at worst let me get my hotel reservation back and I will pay the hotel the cruise package separate. 1 starMy mistake was thinking that this was the actual hotel I was calling. I made the booking, confirmed everything with Daniel the reservation agent who said hotel transportation was included. I asked him to include that on the confirmation email. Well, he didn't do it and that's when I understood that this was a third party service. When I contacted the hotel directly they said no there is a $45 fee to shuttle service. I called Reservation desk back and I have been given the run around. Finally today, almost a month later I called and was told that my refund request was denied. They are insisting that transportation was included because that's what it says in their notes. When I explained that the notes are wrong and I have a receipt from the hotel with the $45 charge, it fell on deaf ears. The fact is Breathless Rivera Cancun hotel explained that no third party company can include transportation. The only way to get it is to book with them directly. I escalated this with Miranda in customer service and she said she will listen to the recorded tapes and get back to me, she never did. I will never book with them again! 1 starComplete SCAM of a website. I am not sure how ****** still allows them to advertise. They mimic the actual website of the hotel company and only offer non-refundable rates that you can't change and will lose the total cost of the original stay.Reservation Counter, LLC

1 starZero stars for this company. We made a reservation at a really nice hotel and accidentally selected the 17th instead of the 16th. Also selected the box to cancel the reservation within a certain timeframe. Called them within an hour of making the initial reservation to change the date to one day earlier and was told we would need to cancel the reservation and would lose our money. This is a huge scam. DONT EVER use this company to make a reservation. They scam you into thinking you can cancel or change your reservation but then tell you there is nothing they can do. Most of us work in the business realm and know with certainty they can but they chose not to. This is a fraudulent and greedy company and we will never support this type of company again and will reserve directly with the hotel instead!! Btwthey were not cheaper than going through the hotel directly. Just trying to support small business and got burned. Will never do that again.Reservation Counter, LLC

1 starThis is a scam. I looked up Hyatt on their website. I called ***** and thought I was speaking to their representative. I booked, traveled and never received an invoice. I called Hyattcouldnt get through. Filled out an online formreceived a blank invoice. So I checked my credit card. It had a charge from Priceline (who I never called). I then reached them. They had billed me but had no invoice. They said to call Reservation Counter! Finally, they had my invoice. And guess what? I paid an extra 16 dollars to Reservation Counter to be confused and cheated. And wasted about 2 hours of my life.Reservation Counter, LLC

1 starAbsolutely horrible company with completely rude people. I was on hard rock hotel casino resort website and made reservations.I then added an additional night to my stay.There is absolutely no transparency that this is not a hard rock hotel, yet it is a third party booking company. They ending up not adding my additional night to existing reservation but instead canceled my original reservation and rebooked me a second reservation for the extra night stay. They are now charging me for the original reservation that they canceled to add the additional night Absolutely horrible company. 1 starGiving them a one star is being generous. Web site very very misleading. Was booking 3 rooms at the resort hotel located at the bottom of the slopes only to find out at the time of our trip the agent booked us off site in two separate areas. Refused to refund my money claiming the agent provided the information at the time of our booking. We are very familiar with the area so that claim is totally false. I had a large crew including 6 grandchildren scheduled for the trip so I rebooked at the hotel resort using another contact. Again web site listed hotel resort that we wanted including address and zip code only to have agent book us off site in different housing plans.Reservation Counter, LLC

1 starTHIS IS A SCAM. THEY MIMIC HOTEL WEBSITES AND DO A BAIT AND SWITCH. Booked a room over the phone with the agent - and kept confirming with them that it was at the MGM Grand, and the agent kept agreeing - however, the room was booked at the The Signature at The MGM Grand, which is a different hotel. When I stated that to the agent that the room was booked at the incorrect hotel - he told me they couldn't cancel or refund my money, and immediately transferred me to Customer Service. Customer Service was unable to help either. At this point, I am just trying to get my money back to re-book the room properly.Reservation Counter, LLC

1 starSCAM!!! Hotel link directs you to reservationcounter.com and makes you think you are dealing directly with the hotel. They will make the reservation thru Priceline or other site. When you get the receipt, the charges are outrageous and it does not give a breakdown of the charges. They will not give you a breakdown either when you call.Reservation Counter, LLC
